I stopped in to look, and though I did not say I'm a poor grad student who happens to love good fashion and styling, the staff must have sensed it, because I barely got a second glance beyond the perfunctory 'hello' upon entry. Little did they know that I'm willing to eat rice and beans for a month if it means getting a great pair of boots. The selection isn't particularly stellar by most standards (i.e. San Francisco, NY, Chicago, etc.), but as far as Boulder boutiques go, this shop has the market cornered on fashionable footwear that can't be found at Nordstrom. I'd like to give it a better review, but in all honesty, the treatment I receive by staff is a big part of patronizing shops like this - and I didn't get a warm, or even acceptable, reception. If you're not sporting an "I've got cash to spend" attitude, then I doubt you'll get a friendly, much less helpful, welcome. read more

I am a Two Sole Sister fan for life. Not only do the two sisters who own it have impeccable style, but their smiles will make you want to stay longer to look at their selection. They understand the need to wear cute, COMFORTABLE shoes, and won't compromise the customer service. This is the only boutique (clothing, jewelry, shoes, etc.) that I stop in on a regular basis, or, as regular as I can with my work hours! I've lived on both coasts and abroad and I have to say that this is by far one of the best small shoes stores that I have been. They carry a wide selection of styles and brands. I can find shoes for work and for the weekend, for a night out with the girls and a for a day running errands around town. They are right on trend and many times ahead of trends. For Boulder, that is something that does not happen often. As previous reviewers have stated, they understand that you do not need to sacrifice comfort for style. Yes, I own a pair of Danskos, but that doesn't mean I want to wear them with everything I own. This is, by far, the most fashionable shoe store in Boulder. I moved out from San Francisco this year and this reminds me of a lot of the boutiques there. The 2 sisters that run the store do an amazing job of stocking shoes and boots that appeal to my Boulder split personality ... I've got my practical mountain living side but I also have that other part of me that needs to get out of my uggs/crocks and put on something good looking. If I had some serious cash, I would go there immediately and buy 2 pairs of boots that I've had my eyes on. Ah. To dream. Plus, the women who own the story are really nice and not pushy. No business can be 100% error free. 100% of business owners & employees can, however, choose to go the extra mile to ensure issues are corrected & customers feel satisfied with their entire experience. I purchased 3 beautiful gifts from Two Sole Sisters for my partner's birthday; including a rose gold bracelet that would look at home on Cleopatra's wrist. My in-store shopping experience was fantastic. The boutique is full of exceptional women's wear & an exceptional staff. The single issue that occurred is irrelevant to me now because of the manner & extent to which it was fixed. After proactively communicating with me to ensure she worked around my availability, Lindsey, one of the owners, brought a gift wrapped identical replacement bracelet to my home with a hand written note expressing a multitude of kind sentiments & a sincere apology that my experience wasn't flawless. My favorite shoe store - hands down. Two Sole Sisters has incredible choices from flats, to heals, to boots and bags. Lindsey and Laurel, "the sisters," find a flair to fit every style. All of their mouth watering inventory is only surpassed by their customer service. They greet every person who walks into their store with a smile and a warm "hello." They don't push purchases and are happy to help you find shoes, jewelry or a bag that you absolutely love. Wow! The new store in Wash Park is amazing! The owners are always so happy to talk to you and get to know what brought you in. And they also told me they idea behind bringing in European shoes and introduced me to some stories about the designers and the factories where some of the shoes came from! Not impressed. The owner has dodged my wife's calls regarding a gift card that was lost in the mail. She's called three times in four months and the owner has spent more time avoiding her and giving the run around than its worth over a $50 gift card. My wife "registered" the gift giver and receiver back in early January at the store and paid cash. And they've told my wife that they can verify the card has not been used. How hard is it to replace the card? A simple peek on the internet on your phone will show my wife is a professional here in Boulder for twenty years. Pathetic! read more

Absolutely the best shoe store in Colorado! Since the day they opened, I have been a faithful customer. The owners are fabulous and incredibly helpful and kind. I recently saw some sandals that I had to have and they only had them in their Denver store. Lindsey was kind enough to have them brought to Boulder for me to try on. Very disappointed! I absolutely LOVED this store and have purchased 4 pair of shoes and other miscellaneous items over the last 9 months. I wore one pair of "shooties" and was proud and excited about the style and the uniqueness of the shoe (wore 4 times for approximately 8 hours total) until I noticed the leather was scuffed and pealing at the tip. I was actually embarrassed. I brought the shoe in to see what could be done. My options were to allow them to treat the defect with a leather protector or I could to take them to a shoe repair at my expense. I am so disappointed! I've never purchased a pair of shoes that could only be worn on carpet. read more

Two Sole Sisters has great merchandize you can't find at most department stores. I loved all the fabulous purses and shoes. The sales people are helpful, friendly, and not pushy. I loved that even though their inventory is more high-end that the store is so fun and un-snobby. I just bought a purse there and they offered to waterproof it for me before I left the store. I absolutely adore this store and think it's worth the drive from Denver. It's very similar in offerings to Strut if you've ever shopped there but much better in my opinion. The owners Laurel and Lindsay are so nice and have great taste that is current but not over the top ridiculous trendy. The purses and accessories are really nice too and they also have a good sale section. I had one issue with a sandal that fell apart immediately a few years ago and the girls were happy to take them back, sent me a new pair and it was all taken care of with no hassles. They will also spray all your shoes and handbags to weather protect them and have a really nice email newsletter that lets you know when they have sales and new shipments. I have never walked out of this store empty handed and think it's really one of the best store in the entire Boulder/Denver area. BRAVO Two Sole Sisters. I approve and endorse. read more

Shoes that are made on small farms in Italy by artisans to unique style created in Sarajevo. Not only are you supporting a local business in Colorado, you are supporting the global artisan community. The boots I recently bought are going to be a staple in my wardrobe, something that will become more loved over time and with wear as I know they will last me a very long time. I had originally purchased something less practical and there was no problem in me making an exchange. They wanted me to be happy with my purchase and I am.
