Bliss is hands down a must when visiting Boulder. They have the cutest, unique gifts for everyone. I loved this store when I was in Boulder and they also offer shopping via phone which is awesome since I moved. They're the best when it comes to one-of-a-kind gifts and their customer service goes above and beyond. I *love* this store. I've told all my friends that *anything* from Bliss would be an awesome present. Their selection is great, although they do tend to cater to mostly a female clientele. Their most numerous items include: candles (in every scent and shape you'd want), wall hangings, vases, journals, notebooks, greeting cards, purses, lotions, soaps, ceramic dishes for soap/candles, jewelry and a whole section for baby. The whole store has a shabby-chic theme in the art/decorations. Most of the notebooks, candles, ceramic dishes etc are decorated with Victorian-era-ish prints of nature. I have bought *many* a birthday present from this store and every one of them was a hit! Every time I am walking by, I go in to have a peek at my favorite things and you should too! read more

Bliss is basically my Boulder version of Denver's Pandora on the Hill. When I lived in Boulder I would always head here when I found myself in need of an awesome card or gift, even if said gift was for myself. The big difference with Bliss is the focus here is more on household items and less on pretty jewelry for me to wear. No matter, when I want a funky apron, a cool scarf, or maybe some new coasters that can't be found anywhere else I'll pop in here to see what they've got. They also sell some really cute baby stuff like the most super soft teddy bears and bunny rabbits that make excellent gifts for friends that have wee yelpers. The folks working here have always been friendly and welcoming and I think the prices are definitely worth the quality you're getting. read more

Did I mention how much I love this store? What can you find here? Yep, an obsession of mine: Postcards. Not the vintage ones that I've become accustomed to, but pretty feminine iconic drawings. Gorgeous. Any place that has postcards like these has stolen my heart. Stationery, jewelry, cards, purses, wallets, baby items, household items, etc, with a range of prices. And although it's mostly for women, I think there could be some potential for "manly things," depending on your taste, fellas. One of the best Colorado boutiques, in my opinion. I surely was in Bliss entering this store, and the Bliss stayed with me throughout the day. That last line was so cheesy. read more

This store rocks! They have everything-household items, baby stuff, jewelry, art, etc. They have unique stuff from local artisans and the prices aren't totally jacked up. I ended up leaving this place with only a purse, but I could have spent my life savings. The only reason they are losing a star is the staff was a little immature, but that's probably normal in a college town. Bliss is my go-to place for cards. Funny cards, happy cards, mushy cards...they have a great selection of all of them. I have and will make a trip into Boulder just to shop here. Everyone who works here is nice and very helpful. The only downside is that the store is on Pearl Street, with dubious parking and the hell that is driving in Boulder. read more

Very cute place that has all kinds of cards, candles and other novelties at your disposal. Since Christmas is nearing they were starting to get some quirky little ornaments to put on your tree. My favorite store in Boudler for gifts and trinkets. They have a fabulous selection of cards, particularly starky and sarcastic ones. I always leave this store almost in tears from laughing so much. The staff dont seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed and are more concerned with gossiping behind the counter than helping customers. Bliss is a really neat store! They have all kinds of goods for the home, stationery, jewelry & accessories. Their prices range from fairly inexpensive- pretty expensive, but I think there'd be something there for most budgets. They carry Crabtree & Evelyn's new naturals line, too, which is cool (I wanted to check it out and finally got to!) My sister once told me that she'd love just about ANYTHING from this store as a gift, which is saying a lot. It's a great place to get gifts for women. Don't think guys would like much in there... but you never know! They never cease to surprise me with what they stock. I will go out of my way to get to Bliss if I have to give someone a card for any occasion. They have the funniest, most creative, artistic and inspired cards that I have ever come across. I have also had a lot of luck here finding amazing journals as well as beautiful earrings for which I receive endless compliments. Really cute items for sale and I love their selection of earrings. I always go here for cards to send people on special occasions. They sell cards that are not the typical Hallmark cards you would pick up from Walgreens. These are usually from smaller companies with funny or sincere messages. Was in town for business for a few days and had a chance to stroll down Pearl street. This was one of the only stops I made during my walk, and it was well worth it. It's got a lot of cute gifts, housewares, jewelry, candles, etc. some of the things seemed unique to the area, some not (they carried a lot of things you'd find in a paper source mixed with that if anthro). Pricing was mixed as well-I thought there were some good deals (a cute flower pot for $6, and a pearl bracelet for $5), but then some things seemed a little over priced (like some of the candles), which is the only reason I didn't give this a 5, but super cute for gifting and even something to treat yourself! read more

Its got so many things for young and old, fun or boring!! Candles, Stuffed animals, books, scarves, coffee cups, blankets, cookbooks, hats, earrings, and more. You could really get lost in here with all their neat trinkets. I walked out with yet another bookmark, a notebook, some mittens, a wine bottle opener that looks like a cockatoo (did I really need this??), and some other items. This is the perfect souvenir shop if you're looking to buy gifts for family and friends back home. Also, the staff is super nice and friendly. Hours later, I had noticed one of the mittens I bought had a sad little hole in it :( and I went back to exchange for another pair. The associate didn't give me a hard time at all. Neat store full of neat stuff, with terrible staff. The day I went here I had my 3 year old daugher with me. The weather outside was very cold so everyone was wearing winter coats, including myself and my daughter. As we walked past one of the displays the sleve of my daughters coat brushed against an open drawer with a wodden picture perched on it and the wooden picture fell off. I quickly put the picture back and began to leave with plans on coming back at a later date without my daughter. Nothing was harmed or damaged in ANY way. One of the 3 employees sitting behind the register quickly jumped up and nearly pushed me out of the way to come assess what I had done all the while staring me down with brow furrowed. I am the manager of a small business in Golden, Colorado so I understand what its like to deal with unattended children but this simply wasn't the case here. The poor treatment I recieved has enusred I will not be shopping there ever again and I will make sure to let all my friends know how they treat people with children. read more
