They are now using baked goods from Spruce Confections, a Boulder cafe staple. So much to choose from. We had both iced tea and lemonades among us on a hot sunny day. And what grandparent could refuse a grandchild request for a honey stick? Not us. We had a nice shady place to sit and cool off on a brilliant Saturday morning. Right from the get go, Art Mart doesn't consist solely of artwork. My friends and I bought matching Boulder shirts here because the artwork on the shirts were to die for! They were the cutest and we were able to snag the shirt in multiple different colors with the same design on them, so they were matching, but also slightly more unique in their own ways. This place is a great stop at the beginning AND end of your visit to Boulder and Pearl Street Mall because trust that you will not find anything cuter! That is what we did - this was the first store we popped into and saw so many cute things we liked, but held off on getting anything because we had just gotten here. But if you are looking for CU logo gear, for yourself or for gifts, this is the place. Anything you could probably think of, at better prices than some of the Logo Gear websites out there. And you can actually get a better sense of sizing than using many of the inaccurate size charts I found online. I have looked at some of the commercial and touristy shops around Boulder, the "sports" retailers around Boulder and Flatiron Crossing and even "our favorite hardware store" but I could not find the size and color I needed for a gift. Boys grow up fast! I found just what I needed, I got a good walk in on a nice day as there is no dedicated parking here. The Book Store is in the basement of the UMC so plan ahead. There are off campus options to park and walk or bus to the UMC if you are not a local. For an off season shopping time (NOT Back to School, NOT Football Season, NOT Christmas, NOT Graduation) I thought they had a decent amount of stock in a wide range of items. Though many wonderful longtime shops were lost in recent years as a result of the pandemic, some of the spaces are being filled. The eclectic mix of gift items, practical and decorative was nice to see here. Our guests found some mementos of their trip and I found a specific type of cloth dinner napkin I had been looking for recently. Soft, thin and flexible, all cotton and subtle patterns and colors to go with nearly everything. A set of 4, coordinated but not identical. So nice, I bought two sets as we often have 5 or 6 seated when we have guests. They were not inexpensive, but not exorbitant either. I will stop here again when looking for good gifts or unusual and well made novelties. Staff was friendly and helpful. A nice addition to Pearl.

They have some non alcoholic drinks (I had a coffee) and offer alcoholic drinks as well. All of the sales associates were very friendly. I am so pleased with the work the owner did! I ordered this robe from pottery barn online, and…read morewanted a funny (inside) joke embroidered on the chest of the robe. I called the business and even though the owner had to step out early that day, she still let me drop off the robe with my instructions written out on a piece of paper. I was already on my way, and was very thankful that I didn't have to turn all the way around! It only took her a few days to finish embroidering the robe, and throughout the whole time she responded very quickly to any and all of my emails! She even was able to find a way around the way too fuzzy fabric and still perfectly embroider what I wanted. Than she just left it on her porch and I was able to pick it up at my convince! I will definitely be using her again next time I need something else embroidered!
