First time today with RunBuddy in Mesa. They don't service San Tan Valley, so drove up to my daughters house this morning to try it out with Gabrielle, my 18 month old Shepherd. Great experience. They let her sniff around the van a bit before hooking her up on the treadmill. Worked like a charm. She got a great 30 minute run/walk at a pace I'm not able to give her. GREAT exercise both physical and mental for these higher drive breeds. As others have said, there are no motors on the treadmills, so the are quiet, and the van has two celing mounted A/C units to keep it quite chilly despite the 110' temps outside. Remember to bring your pup a bowl and some water. This is going to be a regular thing for us now. Well spent $75. read more

My dogs love it. They come once a week and go at their own pace and they do it together read more

This is such a great idea. In this heat it's hard for us to excersize the pups and not worry about heat stroke. Here they run or walk at their own pace in a van that is cool inside. No motors on the treadmills so they set their own pace. Ella was amazing getting my pup to feel comfortable he was very scared. They had a couple of harness options. She had him come in first and then Stella who is now a pro at this and looks forward to the van pulling up to the house. read more

David at Run Buddy is fricking amazing! We recently got a 6-month-old American Bully, Freddy, who hasn't had much socialization yet and was pretty nervous in the van at first. But David immediately recognized why Freddy was anxious and worked his magic to help him feel safe and comfortable. Within minutes, Freddy went from unsure to running on the treadmill like a boss! I like that it doesn't have a motor and was very safe! I felt completely confident leaving Freddy with David for the 30-minute session, and by the end, my pup was so relaxed he went full-on sploot mode and napped like a champ. This service is fantastic, and I can't wait to book more sessions. Freddy approves read more

I have had the worst experience with this company. I have a 10-month-old golden retriever who needs exercise. The park is too hot in the morning, so I thought I would hire this company. I started out reaching to them, and they told me the rate was $75 per 30 minutes. I asked if there might be a discount if I booked three to four sessions per week. The answer was NO. Finally, because this pup needs to be exercised, I agreed to three $75 sessions per week. Then, after receiving a confirmation text saying that they would be there today, they didn't show. When I reached out to find why they were late, they told me, "you didn't respond to your confirmation text", (which in fact I did) "so we canceled it". This is the absolute worst company ever. Do not use them. Do anything else you can do. Unfortunately, they are the only dog exercise van company in Scottsdale. If you live in any other part of town, there are several other options, and I highly recommend you use them. They are less expensive. They are able to reach easier. They are more accessible. Runbuddy is awful., Plain out awful. And the people who run the company are horrid. Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs. read more

Just use Run Buddies for the first time for two small dogs. I was very impressed with how Brandon handled them. One was more skittish than the other and I thought he'd be more upset than he was. He's going to be slower but the other one Bella did really well. It's just too hot out here for the dogs to go outside and mine needed to do something. So this is what I'm gonna do. Service was great I got to watch the whole thing it was pretty nice. read more

Run Buddy Mobile has saved my life and my house! I have a very small backyard and a very hyper husky! I have one dog who runs way too fast for me to take him on a walk with the other dog who doesn't go very fast. The treadmills are self propelled. One cruises and one just walks at his own pace! I absolutely the mental and physical workout both my dogs get every week. Really don't know what I would do without David and his crew. They take the time needed with each dog and are very knowledgeable. Also love how trustworthy they are. If I'm not home when the boys are scheduled, I feel 100% comfortable with them entering my house and getting the dogs for their workout. This service is a MUST in the summer time as well. Here in AZ it's just too hot to walk your 4 legged babies. The AC in the vans is awesome. read more

IF YOU HAVE A HIGH ENERGY DOG OR A DOG THAT STRUGGLES WITH ANXIETY. Run buddy is the perfect solution!! My dog has been running with Run Buddy for almost a year now. He started last summer as a way to keep him active in the summer months, the hot summer months where always difficult for him due to not being able to be outside, the hikes being cut significantly shorter and as the owner it was very difficult to balance keeping him safe but getting his energy out. Every trainer we have had has been incredible with him!!! They where so patient with him for his first few session and keep him going full throttle for the 30mins!!! While keeping him engaged but still making sure he's not over exhausting himself and giving him water. They even helped with a new rescue my mom adopted, that had mistrust of people, and could be aggressive. David and the trainers took their time with him to the point that even the new rescue would hope in the van and would let them handle him and let him!! Nothing but incredible things to say about this company and the people!! read more

Our dogs Shasta and Cody LOVE Run Buddy Mobile. Cody really gives it his all on the mill and Shasta does a slight jog but both come into the house after their session with the proverbial "tails waggin' and tongues draggin' ". This is one of the best ways of exercising our four-legged besties in the hot Phoenix weather and even when not so hot out. Our "athletes" wait at the front door and become so excited when they see the van pull up! Speaking of vans, the vans are very well air conditioned to keep our athletes cool and comfortable, the van drivers/"coaches" are cheerful and kind and do a great job of encouraging the dogs to keep them engaged and happily running! Scheduling with the main office is easy, changes to the schedule are also relatively easy, the exercise vans keep you up-to-the-minute informed of their arrival and it's always a happy experience for us (the pet parents) and the dogs. read more

These guys are the greatest! They care about your pup and his/her safety and well-being. I've never seen a more energetic group of doggie coaches in my life! Our guy is pretty lazy, and they give him a real workout! The van is always clean and well-ventilated and welcoming, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their job. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

We've been using David & his crew for almost a month on our 5 yr old German Shepard mix & I can't begin to explain the difference we've seen in him! He has been on anxiety meds for 2 yrs and we've seen no help. Started running him 2x/wk with RunBuddy and he's so much happier. He waits at the window everyday to see when his friends are coming. The cost is completely reasonable given the crazy hot temps in the valley. Once the our other two saw how happy Cain was we had to include them as well. Excellent hygiene practice between clients & they all wear masks. The coaches hang out in the AC can playing with dogs while we wait for them to come running back in for water! So tired & relaxed. High energy, low energy, & older pups all can benefit from a once a week run since the machines are manual your pup can pick their own speed. We have one that runs crazy fast, another that slowly paces & the third takes breaks often all are happier & healthier! read more

If you love your doggos, you have found the right business! My 10 year old and my 5 month old pup both had their first run today and they both did amazing! Huge fan! I used their service for my 3 senior dogs last week. They have been more calm for 3 days after. David took the time to explain the set up, abd when one my dogs wasn't catching on (she's a little more ... clumsy), David adjusted quickly to get her more comfortable with the treadmill. My other two dogs acted like they were hiking the Pacific Crest Trail on the treadmill. I will be using them again! read more

I was worried at first about having my 10 year old anxious dog and my new puppy meeting new people and a new environment, but I knew they needed the socializing and exercise. I am so glad I tried this service. My older dog barley barked and jumped right in the van! I was so surprised. Both of my girls did so good and Maddison was awesome. I have been following RunBuddy on Tik Tok for over a year now. I first heard about them when I adopted my 7 year old Lab/Retriever Winston from AAWL who ran their shelter pets. Recently I rescued an 8 month old Catahoula named Mochi, and quickly realized that I needed support in burning out his energy. Additionally, Winston was lookin' kinda thick around his love handles, and with his energy level, I also needed a way to maintain a health weight for him. I pulled the trigger and made an appointment for both of my pets. Unfortunately, when I adopted Winston, the shelter failed to inform me about his behavior issues, or his history with random aggression and biting. He has behavior/reactivity issues that stem from his neglect/abuse. However, over the time that I've had Winston, I've never had him hurt anyone. So the night before my appointment coincidentally, Winston had bit my neighbor, throwing me into a frenzy, and making me extremely anxious about running Winston, as he had never bit anyone under my care. The morning of my appointment, I reached out to RunBuddy to notify them about the bite, and how concerned I was, and that I would be okay if they didn't want to run Winston. David reached out to me, and told me not to worry. They still wanted to help me, and run Winston. He pushed my appointment to the end of the day so he could make his own assessment about Winston's behavior. Our first run, David calmed my nerves, and said that they run all dogs, regardless of their past, history, or behavior issues because they already get a bad wrap as it is. As a pet owner, I deeply appreciated this, as the world will never know how reactive pets act at home vs. in the presence of others. David told me this would help with his behavior, and that Winston was cleared to continue running! Seven weeks later, running them once a week, I am extremely proud to state that Winston is looking amazing, losing his love handles, and is now at a healthy weight! Mochi is still growing, he's a puppy, and that energy gets burnt out in one session! We found that his behavior has already started to develop, and that even the day or two after we run him, he's still collected because he really needs to burn out that energy! My husband and I now look forward to our weekly sessions, and cannot imagine life without RunBuddy! Our pets are so relaxed, and stimulated. They get their workout, and my husband and I get to relax too! Winston's health has improved which was our biggest mission. We absolutely appreciate the entire team at RunBuddy; their love and compassion for all dogs really shines through in the work that they do! Mochi now sees the van, and gets SO excited to run! Thank you RunBuddy, keep up the fantastic work! If you are hesitant, please don't be! Since we have witnessed first hand all the positive changes that running our dogs provides -- I highly recommend RunBuddy to everyone and anyone! read more

Run Buddy Mobile is seriously the BEST Dog Running company in AZ!! Run Buddy coaches are totally worth EVERY penny and the coaches are ALWAYS so professional and NICE and high energy!! I recently had invasive surgery and can't walk my dogs for min of 2 months. I'm totally dependent on Run Buddy to exercise my dogs and they have been so great! They come to my door, leash up the dogs, text me when dogs get on treadmills & when they hit 30 min and then bring them back inside since I have limited mobility for the time being. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Run Buddy Mobile for ALL of your dog walking/running or exercising needs!! read more

Our trainer recommended we try RunBuddy Mobile for our 3 year old rottweiler. Rémy Martin runs for 30 minutes once a week and it has helped in so many ways. It gives him the exercise he really craves-running at top speeds! I can't run him that fast. He's much calmer. Rémy's body has changed. He looks like a toned athlete! He loves the coaches. They motivate him with squeaky toys to run hard. With the temperatures heating up, I don't always get out early enough in the morning to walk him so I'm so thankful for RunBuddy for giving him the fun run and keeping him in shape. I can't say enough about the staff. They are on time, so pleasant and they take such good care of my pup, I can get a few things done while Rémy is exercising. They all are very communicative and I know exactly when they will arrive. Working with RunBuddy has been a major help for Rémy's leash reactivity and his overall well being. And the videos they take and share on TikTok and Instagram show how much fun all the dogs have running with RunBuddy! read more

First time using Run Buddy today! My two boys were scared to death, but Lauren was outstanding with her calm voice, making them feel comfortable. We got both of the boys secured on Run Buddy's specially designed treadmills, and it took less than 10 minutes for both of my boys to feel safe and figure out how the treadmill worked and they had a blast! My little one (Bear) started to walk a little faster, his ears were up, so was his tail and it looked like he had a big grin! My other boy (Buddy) is extremely skittish, but once Lauren worked with him on one of the bigger treadmills, you could tell he felt safe and could work the treadmill on his own! I was very concerned about their paws getting pinched between the slats, but there was absolutely no issues! Run Buddy Mobile is AIR CONDITIONING is fantastic, very comfortable inside! Unlike the 111 degree temps in Arizona! During the summer heat, it's virtually impossible to walk our boys...it's just way too hot! Run Buddy is the way to go!!! read more

Run Buddy Mobile is a great way to exercise your dog in a climate-controlled van with treadmills designed specifically for dogs. The dog has to make the treadmill work which allows each dog to move at their own pace. My 14-year-old, slightly overweight, Shih Tzu needed to get some exercise during the heat of the AZ summer when it was too hot to walk him outside. Run Buddy to the rescue! Swiffer was a bit hesitant at first and was more interested in all the scents and smells from all the other dogs who had been in that van. It wasn't long before he was walking like a champ with his tail wagging and having a great time! I have suspended services now that it's cooler and he can resume his outdoor walks but will definitely call on them next summer. I highly recommend giving Run Buddy Mobile a try if you have a need to exercise your pooch! read more
