Great little place with super friendly staff. Food was good and came out pretty fast (spring rolls were only out 3 or 4 minutes before main course). I ordered shrimp spring rolls and received chicken, but they were still good. The veg in the Mee Katang were perfectly cooked...still crisp but not raw. I'll be going back! read more

This area lacks authentic & delicious Asian cuisine so once I heard of this place opening, I was excited to try but didn't want to get my hopes up either as I've been quite disappointed many times from the other Asian restaurants in the area who have somehow received good reviews. However, rumdoul exceeded all of my expectations & has quickly become a family favorite. The food is delicious & packed with flavor, but the best thing about this place is the wonderful & sincere staff. They are genuinely friendly and have such a pure spirit that's so contagious, you can't help but have an amazing rest of the day after leaving here. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! When arriving to this establishment my husband wanted authentic Cambodian food that reminded him of home. The service came with a very sweet girl whom made great recommendations towards our meal. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere as it held a few other patrons there as well. Our food was portioned well, next time we will try other dishes there. Finally! After 5 years in DFW there's a Khmer restaurant. Rumdoul has traditional Khmer (Cambodian) dishes mixed with some Thai dishes, too. Can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Curb side pick up service 5 stars! As I arrived with my hungry kids the manager /owner, not sure, saw me and acknowledged me as he was coming out to drop of an order for other customers. I called to place my order and he asked me if I was the one waiting outside. He offered to bring me drinks for my kids and myself and a snack for them while we waited. That was very nice, he saw my kids were going out of control. I wanted to try the food and support a small business restaurant. I ordered the red curry coconut chicken dish. It was really good and not too spicy. I'm used to eating the Lao type. I liked the sauce and the chicken wasn't dry. Next time with more I'll try the noodles. read more

Delicious food. Large portions. Great prices. Incredibly friendly and personable staff/owners (it's a family thing). All the 5 star reviews are for a reason. If you have a hankering for some Thai food, you can't go wrong here. FREE REFILLS ON THAI TEA, for the price of regular ice tea. I've never seen that before. The Thai Tea is worth the trip alone. Negatives (because every honest review should have some). The menu is limited. That's not a big negative for me as everything on the menu is good. (Ask about the secret menu too!). Also, the interior is rather small and basic. It's very clean and well laid out, but it will quickly fill up. It's not fancy, but is comfortable. Obviously, these negatives weren't enough to effect my review since I still gave 5 stars. read more

Menu was fairly simple/basic with not a lot of options so I had night hopes - i ordered the combination soup, which featured seafood and pork. The seafood was disappointing- outside of a few pieces of shrimp, it featured mostly fish balls and imitation crab- two really cheap, processed ingredients - The highlight was probably the fact they make their own chili sauce.
