Can't get the bad taste out of my mouth! This food wasn't just not good, it was terrible! I ordered the shrimp noodle soup, fried dumplings, Szechuan chicken and hot pepper pork. First the soup - the noodles were so overcooked they were like mush. the shrimp were little frozen shrimp, one I ate had no taste, one had an old fishy taste. The eggrolls and dumplings would have been better if I bought them frozen and cooked them myself. The dumplings were soggy and tasteless. The veggies in the pork dish were soggy and past their prime, had an off taste. The chicken was the worst, I had to spit it out. It tasted like old burnt oil. I still have the feeling of my mouth being coated in sticky slime and nothing has been able to get the bad taste out of my mouth. My first ever time calling the restaurant after a few bites to let them know how bad the food was. I was told to bring the food back to get a refund, so I did, though I was not happy about that. They tried to tell me it was because I did not like it spicy, when it was not even spicy. They made excuses and tried to blame me rather than apologize. I did get a refund, but now I feel nauseous. This place is a giant "Hell No". They really should be getting a visit from the health inspector. read more

I have been eating this rice since i was in 6th grade, i am a sophomore in college now and it is STILL the best rice i've ever ate. The amount of meat and shrimps, and the fact that they don't have those tiny peas and carrots!!! Nothing has ever compared to Mings Kitchen rice! Such an amazing portion too. read more

Popped by for lunch, had never been to Garland Texas before, but was working in the area. I got the sesame chicken lunch. The steamed rice was fresh and tasty, the broccoli that came with it was crisp and dark green. The eggroll, which to be fair was actually a spring roll, was evidently made in the restaurant, and it had fresh cabbage inside of it and it was light and crispy. As for the sesame chicken, coated in sesame seeds, flavorful, and most importantly, they used dark meat chicken, cooked just right. Popped in. Ordered two soups to go with crunch won tons. I barely sat back down from ordering and it was ready to go. All for $5 Fingers crossed... It was delicious with the corn and egg and broth just the right flavor and super HOT! I was so anxious I burnt my tongue on the first bowl They had a fried rice special also for $5 that I figure I'll try next time. It was nice clean and friendly with reasonable prices. Growing up my mom always took me to Ming's kitchen and as an adult I keep going here because the quality and food is good and consistent. I would say Ming's kitchen is the best Chinese food in garland! Look no further. This is the place to fill your Chinese food cravings. Last time I visited this place it was awful Mold on there ketchup container yup I said it MOLD! Black and green ewwwww! Food everywhere on the carpet there bunks falling apart no waitress but I belive they have only one she is really rude she dont talks to you Not!
