Excellent food and drinks! Highly recommend the wings and ribs at happy hour ! Best I've ever had!

@David last time i was at Rumba was tuesday night Aug 9. Thank you for your attention.

5 stars for drinks 3 stars for food..Went w a group a large group and it was rainy out so we didnt get to sit outside.. The food was good small portions and a little over priced. The drinks were amazing sangria was very strong and very sneaky bc it was so good. Overall a fun place to hang and have a drink and apps. read more

Lunch at Rumba today was fab! Jessica was our waitress. She was very attentive and always had a great big smile on her face. She was able to discuss the menu and had some really good food suggestions. You have to try the Key Lime Martini, mmm mm mm. The food was super tasty. I had the duck empanadas, jerk taco, and the fish taco. All were very flavorful and nicely presented. The atmosphere was part party, part relaxing island vacation, loved it! I really enjoyed this place. I will be back. read more

Great Taco's, really good rum punch, a little noisy on a Friday night but I guess that's to be expected. We'll be back.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. We ordered the shrimp and jerk chicken tacos. The ribs were fall off the bone and soo flavorful. Must come here if you're in the area. read more

Arrived with six people at 8:30 on a Tuesday night and there was a 30 minute wait. That alone tells you how popular this place is. We ordered ribs and wings for appetizers. Both were very good, but got six wings for $14 and four ribs or $14; $3.50/rib, really? For entrees, we ordered the crab cakes (2), pork tenderloin, jerk chicken, scallops, and tacos (3). All were excellent. All served at the same time and all hot off the stove. Unusual to have everyone rave about their entree. Service was also good. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Could throw a couple more ribs on the appetizer plate, but that's the only complaint. read more

Delicious food, excellent service (thanks Christina F.!), and great atmosphere! Reservations are a must, but easy to make online. The wings and tacos were to die for! Our waitress looked like wonder woman balancing her section on a busy Friday night... I don't know how she did it! She was always attentive and extremely personable. The whole staff was fantastic, down to the busboy who noticed the small detail of a candle on our dessert plate and wished me a Happy Birthday. Just fantastic little touches! Highly recommend! read more

Great little place right on the water... service was great! Food was imaginative and fresh. Definitely going back...

The Only redeeming quality was the food and drink. It was the most atrocious display of customer service I've experienced since being in the Hamptons. We were originally told it would be a 20 minute wait. I understand that is an estimate and can vary. We were seated 56 minutes later. Already, our party was a bit sour on the experience. We quickly order with food and drinks. When the food comes, 2 of the 3 meals were missing items. During our entire time at the establishment, never once did the GM come by to apologize for the gross underestimate of wait time or to even see how the meal was going. I'm not naive enough to believe I am more important than any other patron. Nor did I want any form of discount for the meal. I felt the situation could have been rectified through simple acknowledgement of leadership presence. Huge fail on the GM. Too many good places for this place to be on your list of places to go. read more

I love this place. We have been here many times since being taken here early summer 2011 by friends. It is our family's favorite summer place. Ribs are outstanding as are the tacos and the coconut risotto. We've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't had a "weak" dish. Service is excellent and the ambiance is fun. Parking sucks, but the place is worth it. read more

awesome tacos. sangria punch is awesome.......delicious and barely taste alcohol...so dangerous its good. views of bay are nice. staff is great read more

Fun place. Great location. Ribs, empanadas and fish tacos were great. Jerk salad fair. Good key lime pie. Saying parking is a problem is an understatement. read more

I've been coming here ever since they first opened and they are just awesome. Great specialty drinks, even better food. One of the best places to eat out in the Hamptons in my opinion. Their ribs are the absolute best ribs I've ever had. They must cook them for a slow and long cook ahead of time because even the bone becomes soft enough to eat. The duck empanadas are so good too. Any of their dishes with tuna are great and their various tacos are great. They have quite a good selection on their menu. Overall an A+ place. The only downside is if you don't book dinner reservations in advance for the weekend, then be prepared to wait because they get quite busy. Even so, they're pretty good at expediting the wait. Once I had a party of 5 with no reservations, showed up at 7pm on a Saturday, they were crowded as usual. The hostess told us about an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half wait. We decided to wait (we really love the food that much) and to our surprise they had us seated in 45 minutes actually. read more

The food here was very good. The Guacamole was delicious. However, the reservation side of things leaves something to be desired - we had a reservation and they were not ready when we got there, then told us to wait at the bar. Half an hour later and still no table and no update, so checked 2 more times and still no table. Then, immediately after they said the table was still not ready, then I get a call on my phone asking if we are there and ready to be seated....when I'm standing right in front of them!! I'm not sure I'd go back other than for a drink at the bar and maybe appetizers at the bar in the future because of this....we didn't have a reservation for nothing! Too bad... read more

Very good, creative food and drink menu. The tacos are great, 'love the coconut risotto and the sugar cane salmon. The happy hour specials are great, too and a good value. read more

Absolutely worth a try. Don't be turned off by a caribbean menu - as I was. Food is very good. Any of the tacos are great - pulled pork and steak were the best; wings were not my favorite but I was in a minority at the table; guac is fresh and very good; duck empanadas also a must. And great margaritas. Order a lot and share! What prompts this review however is the service. Drizzly day - we started off inside. Sun came out we asked to move outside, and we were moved out without a problem. Drizzle started again and we asked that umbrella be put up and waitress did so with a smile. Staff could not be more accommodating and pleasant. read more

What a great place for dinner! First time there last night - the parking lot close to the restaurant was full and we parked at the furthest lot - lucky for us because the boat ride to the restaurant's back door is just BEAUTIFUL! The dinner was outstanding and the tropical drinks are delicious. Service +++. We'll definitely be back to this restaurant for a relaxing evening getaway. read more

Their crabitizer and the island ribeye were amazing! The service is super fast and nice, the restaurant has a great athmosphere. We've been here before and def coming back. I can only recommend it! Superb! read more

casual, beautiful waterfront bar/restaurant. small place, so be sure to make a reservation. better yet, come early for the happy hour..the drinks are half price! great drink options, nice carribbean/american menu. great place to come after the beach, or really any time. read more

Great place. Great atmosphere. Low key. Parking can be tough. Expect a wait on the weekend and the cheese dip is amazing!!!!

Excellent drinks - I recommend the rum sangria. They have an excellent variety of food with a menu just diverse enough. The salmon is delectable and well priced. They do guacamole of the day, sometimes with odd recipes. Other than that, the food is great. The atmosphere is very lively and fun. They have a hopping indoor bar area, as well as tables outside with a beautiful view. read more

My go-to place for delish, comfort food. The service is always a little slow, but worth the wait. Great atmosphere, strong drinks (rum punch!!) and happy people. read more

Love this little hidden gem on the water. I had the ribs for appetizer. They literally fell off the none -delish. We had every variation taco they were really good. I had the shrimp sandwich and my little guy had the jammin chicken. Everything was good!!! Service was quick and they were friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back whenever we are out in the bays. read more

Excellent food and drinks. Great outdoor beachy ambiance, on thebwater. The Dominican ribs are excellent. Favorite drink was their Pina colada - it is on the rocks made with rum and fruit juices as opposed to a Pina colada mix, so it's completely different than the frozen drinks you get at every other beach bar. read more

Stephanie is the best!! She totally took care of us. We were a party of 7 waiting for an hour- we were hanging At surfboard by bar. She let us order food and was full service- better than at a table. Love her!! Thank you Stephanie!! read more

I can truly and honestly say that my experiences at Rumba have been amazing. Not only is the food spectacular, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. read more

Love love love. It's my neighborhood bar and we love the delicious food and drinks! Every Thursday!

The absolute worst hostess service I have ever experienced in my life. We were told our wait would be 45 min to 1 hour and ended up waiting 2 hours. We had to ask 3 separate people for updates because no one would give us a response. I will absolutely never come back here again. read more

Just amazing! That literally sums it all up! Take the rumboat across the way and tip that dredlocked hippie man captain well! Awesome place!

Great drinks and great food. Never disappointed when coming here. Definitely a place to keep frequenting

We ordered take out and it was wonderful. Looking forward to dine in next time, the atmosphere seemed fun and lively.

What a wonderful place! Not only is it a great spot on the water but the customer service makes it! Came here for with a large group (15) and they were able to accommodate us for a reservation in advance. The manager even called up to see if we wanted to eat inside the "Bus" which is an old school renovated seating area! What fun. Everyone from the waitress (that did not get one drink/food order wrong) to the bus boy was a delight. read more

We had come here last month while we in the Hamptons. The ambience was great. You felt as though you were on an island. They had live music that night. The band did a few renditions of the some classic Bob Marley songs. They were great! The food only added to the great experience. I had the sticky wings to start off. They were a bit sweet, but offered a very unique and unexpected taste that was a pleasant surprise. Yes, they were good. As an entrée, I had the Jerk Chicken with coconut risotto. It was superb with just the right blend of spices with a risotto that really complimented the dish. My wife and I finished off our meals with the Key Lime pie. The waiter said it was "award-winning" and boy, was he right. It was one the best Key Lime pies I've ever had. The lime was distinctive, but not overwhelming. We had a group of 7. We got seated immediately. As I mentioned, we were here about a month ago, but the tastes and atmosphere still linger in my mind. If you're ever in Hampton Bays, I'd recommend you don't wait. Get to Rumba. read more

Hard to get into in terms of parking and crowds but the food is amazing. After a few visits , our favorites are the Hampton oyster appetizers, the jerk chicken and the bay scallops. Beautiful view but call ahead for seating. read more

We went here based on Yelp reviews and were not disappointed! We started with a giant jar of rum punch, which was delicious! Artichoke hearts and ribs appetizers were fabulous! Also we had pulled pork and beef tacos. The sauce was great, but the meat a bit dry (especially the pork). The vibe was fantastic- albeit a long wait to get seated. Definitely would come here again! read more

There are only fabulous things to say about this place. Even while they are wildly crazy busy they still manage to park your car (down the block) not a huge inconvience; serve you with a smile, get your food out within a reasonable time, not to mention, the food never suffers. Everything was wonderful. only regret is that I live so far away, however, worth the drive. One of my more memorable summer dinners read more
