There were skeletons throughout, Barnes wire across the ceiling, a large screen showing an old movie, and the walls are covered in vintage posters. There is a pool table and an 8 screen TV showing old movies. We ordered a Crime of Passion and two Buried Alives. Both were good, especially the Buried Alive. Int was like boozy chocolate milk with Oreo cookie crumbs. Delish! It's did take a bit for someone to come to our table, and we watched people who came in after is get served before we even had sometime take our order. All in all, this is a great little place to hang out.

This is why my visit was only 3 stars. We close our tab and the Ultra rang up $3.50. I know it's only $.75 but...so my husband asks. We are told that Michelob Ultra isn't a domestic beer. Huh? Since when? Yep, we were told they price it like an import. I'm sorry if you poll ten people if they consider Michelob Ultra a domestic beer, all of those ten people are going to say yes.

I will absolutely give credit where it's due -- the drinks and craftsmanship here are excellent. The bartenders really know their craft, make great recommendations, and we've had some seriously amazing cocktails here. Unfortunately, on multiple visits we started to feel increasingly unwelcome. It's honestly difficult to explain because there wasn't necessarily one specific interaction I can point to, but there was a noticeable feeling that we just weren't wanted there. Whether it was certain interactions with staff or simply the overall energy around us, we both picked up on it more than once. I don't know if it was because we didn't necessarily fit the typical demographic or vibe of the crowd there, and I don't want to assume anyone's intentions. I can only speak to how we felt, and unfortunately, we repeatedly left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. It's genuinely such a shame because we loved this bar so much in the beginning. It has such a fun atmosphere, and the cocktails are fantastic. We have some really great memories from our earlier visits, but after feeling this way on multiple occasions, we've decided we won't be returning.

There were some interesting people chilling out in their cars and yelling to each other when I came out - I was by myself and felt a little sketched by it, but I was fine.

Seams to be a lot of regulars. I find both the bar staff and security staff to be friendly. Don't expect to find a nice wine or any but they have plenty of beer and can make most cocktails. They do have mini bottles of Cook's sparkling wine if you are looking for some bubbles but no prosecco. Hit it up for the holidays for the lights and fun crowds.

The finest small bar in Phoenix! They host year-round fundraisers, such as adopting a military family for Christmas. Owner Debi extends her care to all her regulars and employees. I brought my mom, and she expressed feeling genuinely safe visiting with just her daughters, a rarity in bars for her. We've grown to love this bar, and after just one night, it feels like home. I assure you, pay a visit to this seemingly unassuming place, and you'll understand. I went there a few times... not impressed. You can't smoke an E-Cig (they will boot you for it) and either you drink or get out. DDs are irrelevant. They kicked my brother and sister-in-law and threatened to boot my girlfriend (who was my DD) because they weren't drinking. I was celebrating a new career and didn't matter. My brother and sister-in-law CAN'T drink. They were there for me, but either you drink or get out. read more
