I came with the family to try the slow cooked ribs and lobster tail. The lobster was fantastic, but the service was like the ribs......... Slow. Either they are under scheduled or have new servers. I would return for the food and salad bar, but prepare for less than awesome service. The kids meals were perfect for them and the choices included many health options. Every negative comment is true. If I could give this location a zero star I would. I'm surprised this restaurant is still opened for business. The food came out burnt and not hot. To the owner of Ruby Tuesday Raymond Blanchette, The worst experience ever. The manger (Kara)who I believe was host at first was the worst manager. No management skills. Our food came out extremely late and wrong. The plates where disgusting with plate rims dirty and sloppy mess that looked like a 6 year put together. The food we got was cold and old. Burger bun super hard and the food just just terrible. We sent the food back and then waited another 20 minutes till I went to the bartender and told her I need to speak to the manager. The manager came out after 15 minutes who looked like she didn't care how our experience was and didn't ask if everything was okay.. my husband end up walking out from anger. She didn't apologize but looked like she didn't want to talk to us. She offer just free dessert and walked away didn't offer to remake our food or anything. I had to double check with the bartender if that was the manager and she said yes. The bartender was the one who apologize and said she the general manager and barley comes out to anyone. I don't want any email or anything from you guys. You guys keep closing stores and wonder why. Hire better manager who actually care about guest. Was excited to try Libby's BBQ dishes and ordered a plate of brisket and pulled pork sandwich. The portions were meager and there was a lack of BBQ sUce on the brisket and pulled pork which made them very dry. The side dish of baked beans was also meager. Hardly worth the prices charged. Very disappointed in RT and how they handled new dishes. Also very poor choice of side dishes. We, as a party of 6 went to Ruby Tuesday's on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, then a while later the waitress came back to take our order. Four of us wanted a chicken dish! That is when we learned that there was no chicken of any kind in the restaurant! That information should have been disclosed when we were seated. Half the menu is chicken. I ordered the petite sirloin and two orders of zucchini for my 2 sides. They gave me 7 zucchini slices. For some reason I don't think that's a double order. Also, a previous time we were there one persons order never came out! After serving everyone else, the waiter said the burger was coming. Ten minutes later he came out and said the kitchen never made it. We were almost done eating so we just cancelled that order. This place is a mess! I asked for a hoppy beer, the waitress said she didn't have anything hoppy- then she serves the guy next to me an IPA! My ribs were tepid, potato was very hot while the broccoli was overcooked yet somehow cold! After bartender took my plate, it was almost 20 minutes to get the check. The area where I was seated was not wiped down. I watched drinks being made and noticed that the drink glasses were used to scoop ice, rather than the scoop, and you can't really do that without getting your dirty hands into the ice. read more

Pretty much everything was bad about this experience. The rib eye looked terrible and was riddled with hard fat. The pork chop was strangely soft and I had to question if it was real. When I asked about the $4 beer he showed me the beer page and then asked me the size and I said just the $4 one. The bill came and it was $5. When I asked he said the $4 was on for certain drinks yet it was the title of the page with a picture of a beer! I said I'm tired and I'll just pay it and his response was 'well I'm tired too'. Then on the kids meal we ordered Mac and cheese with broccoli. Mac and cheese was $3.99. He said it didn't come with a side and would be extra which we thought would be fine considering the kids 'meals' were $4.99 and came with a side. Also you could add the full salad bar for $1.99 for a kid. In the end the broccoli was $3.69, almost as much as the main meal. Server was not sympathetic. At the end of the day it's not big money but felt deceptive to me. Overall between food quality, misleading pricing and not too friendly of server this is a place I will avoid in future. With a RT I'm not expecting the world but kind of a 3 star experience would be ok but this wasn't even close. read more

I come to this location often and am never disappointed by the food quality. Today I came for lunch and ordered a primavera pasta off of their $6.99+ lunch special menu. The pasta was a little too soft for my liking, but the pesto and sun-dried tomatoes were very good so I didn't even miss having no meat in the dish (chicken was an extra $4). The tomato soup I chose for my side had the perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and saltiness. The bread cubes inside the soup exploded with flavor. My only complaint was that the cheese on top had conglomerated. I knocked off a star for poor service. Ruby Tuesday is infamous (in my book at least) for their slowness, and today the food took over half an hour to arrive. My waiter Robert was an overly-attentive high schooler who kept checking in on us every five minutes and gave us the check before we finished eating, which was very annoying. We spent a subtotal of $15 for the two of us. Incredible! For the cost, I think Ruby Tuesday's is unbeatable. read more

This is the typical ruby tuesdays but its located in a corporate area so this is primarily targeted to feeding the local employees of the area. Its not in a spot traveled by many people unless its for work. As for this location, its clean and standard of ruby tuesdays. Service: I was unhappy with the lack of service here, I was surprised how long it took to even have a waitress come up to me to get my drink order.. 7-8 minutes? When ordering the food, it took a long time to get the prime burger I ordered. I was in a bit of a rush to get in and out of there and I mentioned it to her but I noticed she didn't put my order in until after she was done doing a bunch of rounds which delayed me getting my food. So I wasn't happy about that. Food: I thought the burger was less than average, paying $12-13 for a burger at ruby tuesdays is a lot of money for that kind of a place, it didn't even taste good, the grill/sear was no better than a diner. Yes the meat was a little bit better but I couldn't figure out why my burger was so greasy.. Even if they use 80/20 it shouldn't be that greasy.. The fries were ok. My experience at this location was limited but from what it seems like, this is more a bar scene for the 9-5's of the area. So I would say beer and burgers but I didn't like my burger.. I will go back here at some point b/c I have to b/c it is a central meeting point, so I will update my review in the near future. read more

I have written a lot of reviews for chains even though many of my fellow Yelpers don't like going to chains. I travel a lot for work and normally a chain fits into our allowance. However, just like some mom and pop places - chains are NOT all the same - not even within a chain and this one proves just that. I entered the establishment - was seated in the far back - my waitress who was an absolute wreck finally came to me after I had long decided what I wanted. She seemed shocked that I knew what I wanted. I was very specific as to what I wanted after asking her for a recommendation on which steak I should get. She claimed that she doesn't really enjoy steak and when she does have it - she orders it well-done. However, she said, "I haven't had any complaints YET!" Like complaints are common. I ordered my steak medium rare and the salad bar. NO SIDES! I also ordered an unsweetened ice tea with no lemon. She took my order and away she went. I had no idea how long her trip would be. After assembling my salad - eating my salad and sitting - looking around, my waitress finally decided to return with my ice tea with LEMON - no straw though - she had to take another trip for that. As I sat waiting and waiting - finally she returned with a large plate for the two little pieces of crap biscuits that were so salty I couldn't even eat. Again - waited more! Just when I thought someone forgot about my steak - out from the kitchen it was delivered - by someone from the kitchen. Though it DID have a side of steamed broccoli that stunk - the steak finally arrived. After cutting into the steak - I wasn't even convinced it was beef - just didn't look right and it was well over seasoned. Though it WAS medium rare! I finished eating that steak because I was starving and had a headache by this time and now I was ready to pay and head back to my hotel. Guess what I did - I waited even more time. Every time the waitress was getting close to my table she turned and took another trip - over and over again until I got up and hunted for her! Finally - I gave her my credit card and then waited longer because she sent it to the wrong printer - must be the one in the kitchen - because she took yet another trip. The food was not good, the service was horrible - the table was sticky - the waitress needs some pointers - perhaps training instead of hiring anyone off the streets. I wouldn't send anyone to this place - and the only reason it's still in business is because it's convenient! This was actually my second trip to this place - the first being just good enough to get me to return - price is ok, but not worth the horrible service and unknown food! read more

Worst service from manager ever. I received email for free burger for my birthday since I signed up. We'll I am here once in a blue moon. Out to eat and went to use it. Opened coupon amd said it's expired. There is no date on email or in email for expiration date or on the table about the program for a free burger for your birthday. I have not used this coupon at all. The serve takes my phone to show her manager the email. The server comes back and says without a Barcode there is nothing they can do. Manager could not even talk to me or come over and appolize for any inconvenience. It's not like this is the only thing on the menu. She could of came over to talk to me to resolve the matter personally since the server saw I was upset and disappointed with the email. Get it right people. The restaurant is named "Ruby Tuesday". Its not a plural, or a possesive. This one is right near our office. Our team calls it the home of the $20 lunch, because if you have two beers and a burger, the cost is $20 with tip. Not a big deal, unless you have two kids and you are sending them to the $4,000 per head summer camp. This one is new. Its clean and very attractive inside. The service is good. My favorites (for lunch) the Fresh Avocado Quesadilla: Ripe avocados, grated Swiss cheese, and pico de gallo in a grilled flour tortilla. I also like the Chicken Quesadilla (both off the appetizer menu.) The guys here favor these burgers (copy and paste from the Ruby Tuesday site - ignore all the marketing jazz like "artisan", "premium", "perfectly ripe", etc.) Smokehouse Burger Topped with melted Tillamook artisan cheddar cheese, premium bacon, tangy barbecue sauce, and crisp onion straws. Alpine Swiss Burger With melted Swiss cheese and sauted baby portabella mushrooms. Ruby Minis Four mini burgers topped with melted American cheese and crisp onion straws, garnished with mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and a crisp pickle. I'll add - good choice with the salad bar. Bison Bacon Cheeseburger Range-fed bison, grilled to perfection and topped with premium bacon and melted American cheese. I like this: Buffalo Chicken Burger A tender chicken breast golden fried, tossed in spicy Buffalo sauce, and topped with melted Swiss cheese. Garnished with garlic mayonnaise. Good fries here too. Usually lots of corporate types at lunch time at this location. Why three stars? Plusses, clean, convenient, and good service. Downers? The $20 tab for lunch with two beers. The kind of soulless corporate environment of all the big chains (Fridays, etc.) Plus my daughter won't go there at lunchtime - she doesn't like any of their food (not a burger eating 9yo. Ordered a triple seafood selection (crabcake, shrimp, and lobstaer tail). Everything was swimming in salt. Dining tip: if you are staying at the hotel, they have popcorn in the lobby. This hasn't been high on our list of places to try, but we stopped in last week for their Tuesday night special - lobster tails and steak for $14.99, which my wife ordered. She told me that the lobster was properly cooked and tasty. The accompanying steak was a bit chewy and oversalted, but OK. Decent price value. I had their Chesapeake Platter - tilapia and crab cake. The fish was good and the crab cake was very nice by local standards - lots of lump crab, just a little heavy on the filler. Sides were OK. Beer was $3.00 for a pint glass. Decor is nice enough, the servers were pleasant, the place seemed over-staffed to me. Fairly loud background music - pop/rock. We were in the restaurant but I noticed a bar area which was nicely set up. There is a to-go area if you call ahead for take-out. The restaurant was busy for mid week. My brother and I just go to this place for the burger! Its "The best of the best, 8 ounces of fresh, 100% USDA Prime beef. The place overall so very clean. The waiter served us was really nice. With every purchase you get 4 free biscuits which were little but very good. Although it took a little while to get the food it wasn't bad at all and the waiter brought us another drink even though we didnt ask for it which was great ( no wait ^_^ ) I ordered a burger which came with 2 sides but ofcourse I managed to pick the side that was an additional $1 but well worth it. All American food and salad bar with hotel like atmosphere. This particular Ruby Tuesday is located in conjunction with a hotel. The food is average. Burgers, sandwiches and Barrie specials. I've had good and mediocre meals here. I ordered the ribs once and they were appalling. Good news is the place is casual and kid friendly. In addition they have an above average salad bar. Most visits it was well stocked, fresh and appetizing. On one visit, after a Rutgers game it was ransacked and dirty. I can forgive that if they restocked but never did during that visit. Bottom line is it is predictable food close by in Somerset. They often Have discount coupons so look for those for a better value. read more

Upon entering the host was playing with the menus for 15 seconds before we were acknowledged and then said follow him in a low voice which we weren't sure if he was talking to us because he turned his head away. We then were seated in a cramp booth next to the kitchen so we decided to move to another location. We ordered our drinks which took over 5 minutes. Don't know why since the restaurant was two thirds empty on a Saturday night. When ordering the drinks we had asked for a glass of water. The water never arrived even after we asked twice. Had a salad which was fine, and put the dish at the end of the table to be removed. It was not removed until after we finished our main course. Food was okay no complaints about the taste, however the portions seem to have been reduced in size since our last visit 6 months ago. Server was marginal at best. Atmosphere was lacking. Menu is pretty standard and quite boring. Prices are quite high for the portion size they serve you. Not coming back....Ever!!! read more

I mainly use the to-go service for this restaurant, and always have a good experience. But on the occasions where I've dined inside, it's been rather disappointing. The salad bar has dwindled to a sad state with little variety, I was especially disappointed at the lack of different dressings and no cottage cheese. One of the biggest reasons I've stopped going as much is the removal of regular mashed potatoes in favor of new white cheddar ones! Who doesn't have regular mashed?
