Well as soon as I got home and opened the box all I saw was black burned crust. It's disgusting and tastes awful. What's going on there. I paid $21.54 for a charred pizza. Avoid This Place ... Their bartender is a bully with a bad attitude. We picked up our takeout pizza and in their parking lot, we realized it was cold. We immediately walked back into their restaurant with the pizza. Their bartender was the only one in sight. We told him about our pizza and were stunned when he argued with us that our takeout pizza couldn't be cold, and as such, he refused to heat it up for us. Normally, we wouid never ask to have something to go reheated and would reheat a pizza at home. But we had to go to an appointment afterward. Do NOT go during the week. Service is extremely slow. Bartender totally screwed up my margarita (water glass full of mix and couldn't taste any alcohol at all) and came to my table and argued that it was mixed correctly. Unbelievable. I've now been coming here just about every week for over two years. I always sit at the bar with my boyfriend,we like to eat there. It's fun to interact with the regulars and the bartenders. I've gotten to know so many regulars here and they are super friendly. Pizza and Pasta has some of the best bartenders around. I especially like Kris. She along with Marcus and Katie do a really amazing job. They are constantly making drinks and serving food at the bar. Everyday is some type of drink special. They also make all kinds of specialty drinks and every week there's a menu with a drink, pizza, lunch, dinner and dessert special. I like their Key Lime Martini. I don't really drink martinis so they make mine in to a drink. I do drink their pistachio martini, it's nothing like a regular martini. It's creamy and more like a chocolate martini. I also love their Moscow Mule drink. The same with shots. If you order a shot for two, you also get the shot container with it. It's really like getting extra. The drinks here are made very well, they don't skimp on alcohol ever. All three bartenders are very friendly and know their patrons and what they like. This place is casual and very relaxed. It gets very busy on the weekends. They have some high hats in the bar area, and they also having a dining room besides bar seating. I like to start with an Appetizer- My favorites are Boneless Thai Chili Wings. Sometimes it's listed as a special. It's not on their regular menu but they'll make it for you if you ask. My other favorites are their Fried Calamari or Fried Zucchini, Buffalo Wings, Shrimp Cocktail. I also like their Fried Ravioli. I get mine with Marinara Sauce, not the spicy red sauce. All of their pizza is made to order. The pizza here is thin crust! You have a choice of an personal size aka small, or a large.All their pizzas are fired in a wood burning oven. You can watch them make it fresh sitting in the bar area. The combinations are endless. My favorites are Eggplant Parm Pizza, I add fresh ricotta. The Duffy Delight Pizza-fresh mozzarella, fresh garlic, & shrimp, I add ricotta. Chef's Special- fresh garlic, mozzarella, and splashes of tomato, I also add ricotta. I also order The Delle Ortolano-tomato sauce, mozzarella, onions, peppers, mushrooms.Everyone seems to have their favorites.You can create your own. If pizza is not your thing, they make delicious burgers, and their entrees are very good. My favorites are Chicken Francese, two large chicken breast served over your choice of pasta. I like it over pasta shells or penne. It comes with a house salad, I get mine without onions and they add black olives. For a little more you can get Caesar Salad. You also get bread, and butter. The portions here are large. My other favorite is the Eggplant Rollatini - 3 large eggplant Rollatini served over pasta with house salad. I've had it with marinara sauce and I've ordered it with Vodka Sauce. I always have leftovers. I also love their Rigatoni alla Rabe con Salsiccia- broccoli rabe and sausage in a garlic olive sauce. My boyfriend sometimes orders it with broccoli instead. If you want a decent steak, and don't want to spend steak house prices Pizza and Pasta offers a Strip Steak. It's char grilled I get mine med- rare the best way to serve it. It comes with fries or baked potato, sautéed fresh veggies and a house salad. They do a great job seasoning and grilling this. I'll be honest I never get dessert, because I'm always too full. They serve wonderful desserts which are made in-house. Pizza and Pasta has done a great job in keeping their prices down. They are located right next to the Central Jersey Airport. There's limited parking in front, but you can go up the hill and there's plenty of free parking next to the airport. This is a great place for groups and family gatherings.( fyi- if you sit in the bar area, you will hear the jukebox.) They also have some outdoor seating on their patio. Occasionally they have music. This place closes at 9pm. If people are in the bar drinking they'll stay open until the last person leaves. Good drinks made well, and good food. I will continue to come here. Loved the old school atmosphere but over all the food was average at best. Clams were tiny. The pizza wasn't worst I have had but the veggies on it were raw so it tasted more like a frozen pizza to me. The sausage calzone was good but had very little meat. Just a so so meal overall. read more

P&P has plummeted from a 4 star restaurant to a 2 star over the last year. My last 5 meals were either served a mistake or with multiple errors. The food quality has gone downhill, the portions are a little smaller and the sauces barely cover the meals. Once our meal was so bad, they didn't charge me, so I just left a nice tip for the server. I came back here for another meal that consisted of a soup and salad entrée. I had a cup of the pasta fagioli ($4.50) and the chef salad ($9.95). The pasta fagioli was a little different, very light in color. It was alright, not flavored enough. The chef salad came with turkey breast, ham, salami, mixed greens, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes with mozzarella cheese. This was a large bowl with a lot of the mozzarella cheese. It's debatable. Called in for pick up. Was greeted by a nice hostess, all was well. My daughter who's 7 and I waited up by the door. Two servers walked up to the host stand one of them greeting a guest "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?" No joke I looked at her and said what ? She then looked at my daughter and continued to joke around and ask the guest why was he there for. No apologies, no awareness. Told him how she's training and she's tired and can't wait to leave and walked him to his table. The place might have good pizza and it is 2023 and if you want to wear pink hair, cool. i always passed this place on my way home from work and it always seems to be crowed . so i decided to take my wife for a lovely dinner. what a horrible experience, anything but lovely! well i don't know who in the right mind thinks this place is the has good food but if you do, you need to have your head examined. this place is by far the worst place that i have ever been to "so called italian 'n pizza" i have ever tasted in my life. first off, my wife's penne vodka was soo over cooked that it was mushy and it had zero flavor! all of the pasta was broken in pieces. and it looked like baby food in a dish. my calzone was so burnt that i was trying to scrape the whole top off with the knife to the point that i got frustrated and didnt bother. again it was tasteless. the waitress came back 10 minutes later and said her manager told her to tell us that is the way the pasta is cooked and the calzone as well. the manager didn't have the decency to come over to our table and apologize or tell us himself. we were even charged for the calzone because i took a bite. like i said if you think this place is a gem you need a head doctor!!! absolutely disgusting. over cooked pasta and a burnt calzone that they charged us for that was barely touched. what a waste over money and left hungry. the owner didnt seem to care less. beware and if you want a good meal dont go there! read more

Pizza and Pasta is located right on the border of Hillsborough and Manville. They are known for their thin crust pizza which has a very light, soft base and crust. This makes it easy to eat plenty of slices without filling up too quickly. The pizza is decent. On some occasions, they have been light on the sauce and the crust can be a bit plain. The cheese is a nice, salty, greasy variety that makes up a bit for the lacking crust. read more

Stopped here for pizza take out on a drive from from CT to Philly. Ordered a large cheese pizza and a slice of chocolate cake. One word. AMAZING. I'm kind of surprised at some of the other reviews because my experience was definitely 5 stars. The staff were all masked and although I only went inside for pick up, the dining area looked really nice and there were a lot of patrons there. Rainy evening meal... Came here with the Mrs. for a dinner without the kids. The atmosphere was your typical restaurant/bar, with your local customers. The food was great and worth the price. They gave you good portions for your meal. I have no complaints. The drinks came as they were supposed to be, cold and in a clean glass. I would absolutely recommend come here and plan on coming here again. I will say that I have driven pass this restaurant hundreds of times and on a busy night, parking can be a issue. The only reason that I gave 2 stars is because the server was very nice. However, the food was another story. The manicotti was extremely thick, overcooked and mushy and the tomato sauce tasted like they just heated up a can of crushed tomatoes and put it on top. The chicken fettucine was not good. The chicken was soft and under seasoned, not grilled as it was supposed to be. The sauce was underwhelming. We ordered a side of broccoli rabe and it was so bitter that it was inedible. A large pizza...only serves about 2-3 people..this isn't a typical pizza shop large pie...in several places on the menu it states: "no substitutions, extra toppings equal extra charge but only at the bottom near the make your own does it give actual sizes (grande is 14") everywhere else on the menu they simply say piccola or grande (small or large). Wow is the pizza fantastic here! Pizza n Pasta is located next to the Central Jersey airport. We stopped in after an evening flight. It was my first time to Pizza n Pasta but my boyfriend has been here several times and says that it's always crowded. When we arrived we were quickly seated on the outdoor patio as we requested. Our server was quick and fairly attentive. We ordered a few drinks as we waited for our pizza. The menu is extensive but we opted for the shrimp and pesto pizza. It was absolutely delicious. We ordered a large which was $15 and some change. Thin crust and I don't quite recall how many slices but we finished the whole pie without feel overly stuffed. We ordered an order of fried raviolis (decent) and an order or shrimp and scallop francese with linguine and a chicken francese with fettuccine. The scallops were RAW. I'm talking clear center raw. The shrimp wasn't too bad but the sauce, was disgusting. Lumpy and separated. You could still taste raw flour in the chunks and there was NO lemon in the sauce at all. Also, we could not even eat the pasta, it had a horrible taste to it...what a waste of money. If you can't make francese the right way, don't put it on the menu. read more

Great restaurant located next to a small airport with ample parking. I love a lot of the food here and whenever I ask for any food requests, such as adding chicken to their penne vodka, they are always happy to oblige. My favorite item is their ham calzone. The prices are reasonable, and their online ordering system is faily easy to use. I also really appreciate that my order is almost always ready in 20 minutes. My only complaint is that the staff seems to change often, which is a shame, but everyone is always friendly regardless. read more

This bar / restaurant is consistently very good with their service and dishes. The crab dip appetizer is a custom creation and is served warm with pita chips. Very nice. Pizza can be individual size or a large Family size. Every ingredient for the pizzas are cooked-in a wood fired oven makes it a thin and delicious pie. Meatballs are homemade and can be with spaghetti or side dish. We get them every time. The restaurant is a constant dependable comfortable place to go with a family and with or without kids. Pizzas here are awesome! My wife and I went for a football game a few months back and we were surprised to see how busy it was! When I see a busy restaurant, I don't get mad, I get excited! The place has to be good right! We ended up sitting at the bar to avoid the wait, which I always love to do even when there isn't a wait. Had a couple of beers while we waited and people watched a group of older ladies at the end of the bar having a blast drinking pitchers of something tasty looking. They were a joy lol! The bartender was a nice lady about my age (late 20's) and she was pleasant, quick, and shit talked my football team the appropriate amount to be playful.
