Putting their burgers aside for the moment, their Endless Garden Bar is high end when it comes to other restaurants' salad bars. They have things than most salad bars do not offer, such as: four types of lettuce/greens Parmesan crisps sweet, hot, and soft croutons made from dark molasses bread Wasabi nuts candied walnuts tortellini real bacon bits grilled corn grilled broccoli cracker bread every dressing imaginable Moreover, you can get an Endless Garden bar for only $1.99 extra if you choose not to have fries with your burger, or $3.99 extra if you do want fries. You can also order the Endless Garden Bar itself as an entree. Yo cannot go wring for this price, and it hasn't gone up for years. Yes, when I come here, I pig out. We don't have Ruby Tuesday out west, and I rarely get the opportunity to dine here. So when I do get here, I get my money's worth. I also had a Hickory Bourbon Bacon Burger with applewood smoked bacon, Swiss, pickles, lettuce, hickory bourbon bacon sauce, and RT sauce. I loved it. The hickory bourbon bacon sauce was to die for. Sweet with a little spice. I could drink this out of a cup. And the burger was good sized and cooked right. I actually viewed this as a side compared to my multiple trips to their Garden Bar. Service here was good, with my waiter getting me a lot of water refills, lol. I could eat here everyday and not get bored. I sat at the bar, and they had a TV. I come here once in a while when I'm in the mood to have a nice salad because not too many restaurants have a nice salad bar anymore and this is one of my favorites. I was last here on a Friday night after I happened to get one of their offers in my mail which they normally send out on a monthly basis and it said they have a new and improved salad bar so that sounded good to me. This restaurant is connected to a hotel and they seemed to be busier then normal. We ordered a pasta dish and fried shrimp and both had the salad bar. I really didn't see much of a difference in the salad bar as opposed to how it was before. I actually think it was better before. Some of the selections were almost empty and some not that fresh, I missed the Waldorf salad they used to have. Now they had a bowl of chopped apples and grapes instead. Either way it was still good. I also enjoyed the fried shrimp. It was a serving of 8 large shrimp cooked perfectly served with cocktail sauce... it was just missing a fresh lemon on the side. I tasted a bite of the pasta and that was good as well. The only problem was that service was kind of slow. It took a while to get our drink orders to begin with and didn't get a refill until we were requesting the check. The server was nice maybe just a little busy. All in all a good dinner. read more

The staff is apathetic (who can blame them) and most entrees now are microwave specials - even their once vaunted salad bar seems to be listing to starboard with most of the better ingredients and garnish disappearing as we speak. Just had a very nice lunch with my wife there today. Huge salad bar to start and smokehouse cheeseburgers were very tasty. Look, you know what this is. It's Ruby Tuesdays during a pandemic attached to a Courtyard. So sadly, there's no salad bar. Or draft beer. There should be no illusions as to what you're looking at here. They set up tables out in the parking lot which was cool. The thing I liked about it was it was spaced out far and there was no decor, minus beach umbrellas, so it was kind of an apocalyptic dining experience. I had the chicken caesar salad and two ice cold Miller Lites. Was is gastronomic bliss? Nope, but it was all my tired self wanted at the end of a day of driving. I came here with my mother for dinner one night. She wanted to check it out because the last time she came, there was a promotion of 2 meals for $25. Sadly, the promotion was over on this night we went. My visit to this restaurant was anything I'd expect from a chain restaurant. Service was decent. My food was mediocre. I ordered the top sirloin and asked for it to be medium but it came out medium well. I was too hungry to send it back at that point. My mother had their endless salad bar with a side of salmon. So happy to have finally been able to eat at a ruby Tuesday again. They closed the locations near my home, but we were near this location and it was a hit! Our server, Jesse, was great! Yes, it's a Ruby Tuesday but I'm giving such a high rating mostly because of the service here. Our waitress was friendly and attentive she just had a great energy to her. She's really helpful and pointing out some crowd favorite that we ended up ordering and really enjoying. We came for light dinner so had the sampler Trio and some spinach and artichoke dip to share. I got some drink called Ruby relaxer, it was so delicious! I was actually shocked by their alcoholic drink prices. Most were around $6 and for an extra dollar you can make in a large and I got quite a huge drink there. It's a pretty nice location here and they even have an all-you-can-eat salad bar that I saw a bunch of people getting. It was about 10 bucks for that just seemed worth it if you want salad or something light can you bility to pick on some other things. The best food ever! We loved our Waiter, Danny. He was very attentive, fun with such a great attitude and fun loving, that we feel in love with him. We have never had a bad experience here, ever! We were here two weeks ago and John was our waiter then and he too, is wonderful! We love this place so much. We had ribs, salad bar, coconut shrimp and white zinfandel. I live in the area so we went here for an early dinner with my mom. This restaurant is connected to the Courtyard Marriott where I've stayed on several occasions. I ordered the Hickory Bourbon Salmon Grilled Zucchini and Mashed Potatoes. My mom ordered a cheese burger and fries. I would've given 5 stars but I wasn't happy with the portion sizes. I could count how many zucchini's were on my plate and they probably did as well. For the price they should give a little more zucchini and mashed potatoes other than that the food overall was good. Mom enjoyed hers as well. Since COVID is still thriving and numbers are rising. I was leery about dining in the restaurant. But It wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive to our table. Would I recommend? Yes Would I eat again? First off let me say that I don't know if there is much of a point to reviewing a Ruby Tuesdays. It's a lot like trying to empty a swimming pool with a pitchfork. However, since I'm sitting at a bar populated by 3 people, with an empty glass in front of me for the last 15 minutes, I really don't have much else to do, as the election is over and I'm still suffering from a post trump clinton phone addiction. I got here an hour ago, so far I have seen someone scooping salad from the salad bar with their bare hands, have sent back my appetizer for being HIGHLY unappetizering, ordered the ravioli and was told that due to changes in the menu they don't have any, I've had my first two beers and my entire cheque comp'ed and am now sitting at the bar calmly watching the tumbleweed float past the televisions showing the football game, muted of course... If Taylor Swift was playing this place would be a shade of hell, maybe I'd request it to complete the circle, but Meh. I wonder how Ruby Tuesday went from such a great song to such a horrid place to eat? I wonder how they manage to pay anyone every week, but mostly I wonder why I'm here. Came here with my girlfriend because it was close to where we're staying, the outside fairly reflects the inside. The two of us were sat after waiting for a few minutes, despite the restaurant being empty. No big deal. The server becomes visibly upset when we asked for a booth, which was discomforting and confusing. We waited for 15 minutes as other patrons arrived in small groups, we over heard the server seating them and taking their orders during this time. She never came back to our table and we eventually left after we decided not to wait any longer for the terrible service we would inevitably get. After a 10 hour drive, my colleague and I just wanted something for dinner. So we decided to go with what we know and try the local places next day. So we went to this Ruby Tuesday. First, it felt like forever till our food was served. Chicken sandwich for me and boneless wings for my colleague should be easy, especially when the restaurant is only half full. When I got my sandwich, the top of the bun and the meat was dry. Looks like it was sitting on the counter for quite a while. I also remembered the size being bigger in the past. The real struggle started when we wanted to pay separate. It took them three tries to get the items we never had off the check and the other items grouped to the right check. I went to this restaurant a few months ago but forgot to write a review. I ordered the Tater Totchos and Veggie Fajita Fiesta. Ruby Tuesday has a very limited menu for vegetarians. The Tater Totchos was average. It consists of a crispy tater tots base topped with melted cheddar, queso, tomatoes, scallions, and sour cream. The tater tots were very oily, the tomatoes and scallions were not fresh, and the cheddar cheese was not evenly distributed. Although they provide ketchup, a basic condiment, there was no "X factor" to make this simple dish into an extravagant one. The second item I ordered was the Veggie Fajita Fiesta. The fajitas were extremely salty and overly charred texture (almost burnt). The lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeno were not fresh. The tortilla was cold and chewy. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone because you can buy quality food at a different place. read more

I placed an order to go. A Chicken Cobb salad in a baguette no cheese and 1000 island dressing, fried Green Beans, a dessert and a drink. It didn't take long to get and when I checked the salad, it was tossed with ranch dressing as the employee didn't specify the dressing change. It went back and I waited another 10 minutes. As I waited, the employee taking to-go orders opens a customer's container that just came from the kitchen and takes a couple of fries out, eats them, then closes the container and puts it back in the bag. Ugh!! My salad comes out and it's correct but still don't have my drink. The employee brings me my drink and I go back to my hotel room. By this time, my crispy fried Green Beans are soggy, the whipped cream on the dessert is liquid and as I'm eating my salad, I break off a piece of bread and find mold. It kinda just sat there in the glass :/ They are serving these new cheddar biscuits - think a mini version of Red Lobsters (which have already been miniaturized) - except they were chalky and without taste. Like a Home Ec project gone horribly wrong. We had the prime burgers - the meat was good as prime usually is - but they were served on pretzel buns. I HATE pretzel buns. They're just never good - always hard (stale?) and just not a good fit with beef. Burgers came with 2 sides. Don't ask what I got. Too gross to mention. This place is attached to a business hotel - so it doesn't technically have to be any good to still stay packed. Apparently RT's has realized this and has no interest in improving their restaurant. For instance, $6 Beefeaters Martinis and $5.50 for large Sam Adams at the bar with dinner. $3 additional for salad bar, or $4 for the Blue Cheese wedge salad, which I had with entrée Entrée includes choice of two sides if you don't pick the fries. I know it's in fashion to dislike chain restaurants but I have to say I've had worse and the value here is not bad at all. Best of all the service here was very good! Though we waited 10 minutes or so for a table (since we had a party of 10) the maitre'd apologized several times and legit looked concerned about the amount of time we were waiting. He almost looked stressed out, though we were just shooting the breeze by the entrance. It looked earnest and he seemed like a nice college kid trying to do the right thing. Similarly the waitress was warm and friendly and food was served quickly. It's refreshing to go to a place with white glove service (surprisingly at a chain restaurant) and hard for me to hate on them! The salad bar is unlimited and consisted of fresh though limited selection of salad and veggies. The rack of ribs with bbq sauce here were quite tasty and a good deal, under 20 bucks with two sides. A Cajun pasta dish with chicken, shrimp and sausage was cooked very well, better than I've had at many much more expensive Italian restaurants, where it could be either too soggy or hard as cardboard. I've gone to this Ruby Tuesday location several times since the South Plainfield location closed down. Each time the service and food have been good. So far for me, this location has been much better than the South Plainfield location. The Ribs are meaty and tender. The Double Decker Chicken is very good, and I recommend the Grilled Zucchini for one of your sides which is excellent and something many other restaurants don't offer. I like the salad bar, which has lots of choices and keep clean and fresh looking. The Bourbon salmon, which I usually order is done well and most of the others at the table seem happy with their meals.
