Wish you had one in my hometown in TX. The salad bar is so fresh and tasty. Please expand into Texas!

I love the salad bar. They have extensive salad toppings and several blended salads to select .The price is reasonable for the amount of salads they have on hand. The day I visited everything was fresh. The server was extremely nice to the patrons. She had customers coming in and calling her name before they were seated. I would say the staff is very friendly and treat customers as family rather than guests. I would say the service alone deserves the 5 star rating. read more

What a shockingly mediocre (at best) experience. I am old enough to remember when Ruby Tuesday was a nicer restaurant - somewhere between Applebee's and Olive Garden. Now, they are on par with IHOP and Golden Corral. After seeing commercials for their "Endless Garden Bar" on TV, and reminiscing about how much i used to love it, I decided to give it a shot. I took my niece later one Sunday afternoon, hoping to avoid the after-church lunch crowd. I needn't have worried. We walked in to a nearly empty dining room, and saw several servers standing around the bar, chatting and ignoring us. One server was even SITTING AT THE BAR in uniform, which was always a big no-no when I worked in the food industry through college. After speaking up to draw attention to ourselves, one employee turned her head the whole 15 degrees needed to look at us, and asked "oh, are y'all waiting to be seated?" I didn't say what I was thinking, which was "no, we are waiting to be GREETED." Without an apology, or much other verbiage at all, she marked off a table on the hostess stand, picked up two menus, and said "Follow me." I asked if we were going to be seated in a booth, which given the lack if patrons, I wouldn't think would be an issue, and I was met with a heavy sigh. I apologized and let her know that I was disabled, which i resented having to tell her. No response - she didn't even look at me! She simply marked off another table on her graph, and turned and began walking without another word. I was so humiliated and hurt and FURIOUS. We were seated and given menus. Our server, Dylan, was a little slow getting to us, but nothing terrible. We ordered a spinach dip for an appetizer. Not only was it not even anywhere close to "hot," it was bland and flavorless. Dylan saw that we each had maybe two bites and never said a word about it. For my meal, I ordered a loaded potato and the garden bar. My niece ordered some sort of smothered chicken. Of course my potato came out well before my niece's' meal, which is totally avoidable. My niece encouraged me to eat before my potato got cold, but that was too late. The potato had not even been heated enough to melt the butter on it. I asked Dylan to please microwave it, but it came back out no warmer than before. My niece's food finally arrived, and it looked like a prison dinner. Imagine taking a skinny chicken breast, one slice of tomato, and one slice of cheese, stacking them up and microwaving them to room temperature and garnishing the plate with NOTHING. That plate was so naked and bare and unappetizing. Around this time, I started looking for the Punk'd crew, or that guy that does that "What Would You Do" segment. Like, "What Would You Do if you had abysmal service, cold appetizers and prison food?" We also had to ask for silverware when our food came. The lady (I believe one of the hostesses) said they were "out of silverware" and that she would get us some. This just means she needed to get some clean silver and roll it into the napkin. Now, I know it's a pain in the butt to roll silverware all day. When that was my sidework 20 years ago, it was so darn boring. BUT - the restaurant is EMPTY, you're standing around TALKING, you are completely IGNORING people - HOW IN THE HELL IS THERE NO SILVER ROLLED? I mentioned it to Dylan and his response - I swear to God - was "I just work here." Do you? Do you really? Because I don't see ANYONE working here. Around this time, I hit the "Endless Garden Bar." What a joke! The draw of something like that, for me, is a lot of fresh and different veggies tha I don't have at home. This selection of veggies was no different than the salad bar at Pizza Hut or Cici's. The bar was only about 10-12' long, pushed up against a wall, so you couldn't go around to reach items on the other side across from you. This leads to people leaning into the salad bar, underneath the glass, which is unsanitary; and dropping items into the containers with other items - olives in the tomatoes, pasta salad covered in mayonnaise dropped into the carrots, etc. The worst part was the salad dressings. They dripped into each other, and some of the ladles were missing labels, so the salad dressing was a guessing game. Such a letdown. In addition to crappy service and dog food, throughout our meal, there was a large argument going on between servers and the kitchen, and the servers would stand out front talking and swearing about the kitchen, and every time one of them went into the kitchen, we could hear yelling. The atmosphere was certainly lacking. When Dylan came to bring the check, it should have been obvious by quantity of the uneaten food still on the table that we were unsatisfied with our meals, but he said nothing. We paid and left, swearing to never return. I'm so disappointed in how far this restaurant has declined. How sad. No wonder the place were empty. read more

This is one of our regular spots to eat. I almost always get the petite sirloin with fries, onion straws and a side salad bar. I cannot remember a time when I have been disappointed. Today I changed it up just a little, as I am on a low carb diet. I did get the sirloin petite as always, but the two sides were steamed broccoli and green beans. I did get a small salad from the salad bar too. Once again I was very pleased. The three others in my group had no complaints either. Oh don't let me forget to mention our awesome waitress. Server was rude and slow. I had the hamburger and it was cold. The worst part is that I had diarrhea and stomach cramps.

Poor service from start to finish. Even management was sitting around on his phone. We were 4 out of 10 customers in the place. Took 15 minutes before anyone spoke to if us. 4/16 for lunch. I always find Ruby's to be a good lunch stop. Grab a salad bar and back to the office. Hostess was busy at a bar table eating her lunch then it took forever for the poor frazzled waitress to show up from the kitchen. Looked like she'd been doing dishes. Started to just leave, should have. Hopefully just a bad day, but I won't try this location again. read more

AWFUL, I say that loudly. This is my second time back hoping it would be better. But the management here lacks big time. The server acted like he hated his job and everyone in the building, 100 empty tables and making people wait 30 minutes to be seated. I would recommend eating McDonald's in traffic then eating here. read more

When it comes to customer service, this location cannot be beat. For the first time ever our To-go order was not correct. I didn't notice until we arrived home. I called to let them know so that they could check if it was switched with another order. They insisted on making it right for me. Since we were passing by the restaurant later in the evening, we stopped again. They even threw in some "extras!" We will see y'all again! read more

When I am traveling I always look for a Ruby Tuesday. They are almost always very clean, good food and very pleasant service. This location is very easy to get to right off the interstate right in front of Wal-Mart. I've stopped here a few times while on business and personal travel. I love their salad bar and their sliders. On this visit I was looking for their Cilantro dressing, that I had the day before. Unfortunately they were out. It was really good. The manager offered to comp my salad bar since they did not have what I had come there for. While that was very nice, it was not necessary. The salad was still very good, as always. I hope they stock up a little more dressing for future visits. Thank you again for the wonderful service. read more

What a great meal and it was very easy to pickup during the Coronavirus Pandemic. I called my order in; my ribeye and full rack of ribs with 2 sides. Both meals were cooked perfect with all the things needed in the go box. It was a lot of good and fresh, hot & perfect. Thanks for good food & service. I'll be ordering again soon read more

I took my wife and kids here for supper last night. It was close and It had been a while since we have eaten at a Ruby Tuesday's. As usual the place was very well kept, clean, and we were able to be seated immediately, even with a party of 6. Our server showed up and took our drink orders pretty quick. That's about where the good stopped. He brought most of the drinks, but forgot my son's beer. Many long minutes later he asked about it and the server's response was " I had to wait on another table". That's when the attitude seem to start. He brings the food relatively soon, but every trip there was something he seemed to forget; ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. As far as the food. It was just like it was ordered, only everything was just kinda... meh! Nothing was bad tasting or anything like that, it just wasn't WOW! We left full and satisfied, but, when you take a group out to eat I feel like there should be a bit of; "Damn that was good!!" to it. read more

I always come and get the salad bar to go, and the bartender, Elizabeth, could not be more helpful. She always makes sure I'm taken care of, and I don't think there is a better bartender in this city. I always come back to this location because of the service. read more

Gee, but it's nice to be greeted by a genuinely charismatic, interested hostess. The lady of oriental background that took us to our table was an absolute delight. We conversed about the fact that we were from Canada, about her family in Canada, about our ongoing travels, etc. and when we left, she actually remembered our destination and wished us "good travels". Showed us that she was actually listening to us! A rare thing these days! Thank you. The restaurant itself was lovely and looked clean - at least the parts that we walked through. The salad bar was enticing and a nice addition - there are far too few of these left anymore in my opinion - I love a salad bar! This one was not hugely extensive, but everything that was there was excellent and fresh and lots of it - it was a really, really nice addition. That alone would bring me back! Because I know my limitations, I only ordered an appetizer quesadilla to go with my salad bar trip. I had such a good trip to the salad bar, that I ended up bringing the quesadillas home. They will not go to waste - they were very tasty! Rick ordered the Seafood trio which came with a crab cake, shrimp wrapped with bacon and a lobster tail. The only problem with his meal is that the lobster was bad. Bad as in off. Mushy. Bad. We brought that to the managers' attention and to her credit, she promptly had a new one brought out which was much better. All in all, a really nice dining experience. The wait staff is vey good. I'm thinking that they could have used a few more doing the cleaning up and setting up of tables or vacuuming up after people leave their tables. One thing that I have a real problem with and it has nothing to do with the restaurant itself is - What happened to people removing their hats when they sit down at a table to eat a meal? When did that bit of etiquette end???? We sat beside a table of 5 - Only one little girl did not have a hat on - even Mom had a hat on and left it on during the whole meal!!!! What is up with that???? Is this an Alabama thing? Or is this just something that young people do now?????? How rude! Do restaurants not have the right to ask that people remove their hatwear??????? I think that's just rude and disgusting - and I know that it has nothing to do with the restaurant itself UNLESS they can control it. There - that's the end of my rant! lol read more

The service was fantastic! Best service we have ever had from a chain restaurant. The food was very good too! I love the endless garden bar and its one of the only places that serve spaghetti squash. The steak was cooked to perfection, I had also ordered an appletini and it was delicious as well. I would recommend it if you want good food, fast service and smiling faces. read more

Went here on Memorial Day. The hostess was a tiny little white woman that rolled her eyes at my companion & I during and after seating us. Maybe she felt some sort of way because we were an interracial couple. She hurried and left us. It took a while to get a waiter, but neither one supplied is with silverware. It took a while to even get our drinks, STILL no silverware. When I got back from the ladies room, my order was sitting at the table. I ordered fried shrimp, which looked like torpedoes. Obviously coated in Panko, but a wet mess inside. Worst imitation shrimp ever! My companions meal didn't arrive until about 15 minutes later. He ordered ribs, fries and cole slaw. But the coleslaw didn't arrive until about 15 minutes later. I still had to get my own silverware! Who does that? In my world, meals are served at the same time. I couldn't eat the (shrimp) anyway!
