Mississippi doesn't have Publix stores, and every time we visit, we're reminded why this one is top-tier. The customer service here is consistently excellent. The staff is always professional, respectful, and genuinely helpful. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the doors. The store itself is spotless--well-maintained, organized, and fully stocked with fresh, vibrant products. We especially appreciate the wide range of quality items that align with a healthy lifestyle. Whether it's produce, deli, or specialty goods, everything always looks fresh and inviting. Publix has become a little getaway for us--an excuse to cross state lines, knock out errands in Alabama, and enjoy a clean, pleasant shopping experience that we only wish we had here at home. Previously my daughter got fired because I used her discount card and the cashier didn't want to grab the card out my hand she waited and pointed at the place where you scan your items across for me to scan it not her and yes I understand its their policy for family not to use the card,! but the same exact thing happened again on Tuesday of this week except I didn't have a discount card ,so when I finished shopping after I asked a young lady in the coffee area for the small container of okra chips and she was very friendly and she walked me right over to them with no problem. So that was my last item I go to check out , it was no wait line as she bagged my groceries , I paid with my debit card so no she didn't have to touch my hand or anything ,she looked and actually started reaching for the next customer groceries to scan so I grabbed my bags of groceries and she left my receipt on the printer for me to grab it off instead of handing it to me,so I said thank you after grabbing my bags and all she said was you welcome but did NOT hand me my receipt like what is wrong with you people in these roles at your job as a cashier she had no customer service skills other than scanning the groceries and I like fresh market but they cashiers are rude to a certain degree and I just want to know why.? I wish it was another one here in mobile so I wouldn't have to go back to this one but I may just start going across the bay to Daphne because this is awful I'm very disappointed as I was before and that cashier name was Madison in case anyone else had the same experience as me.

The best thing that Southeastern Grocers did with Winn-Dixie was to put an emphasis on their line of USDA Choice grade beef. I honestly wish that they wouod just dump the vheap beef that is not USDA graded, but I am sure that this inferior quality but cheap beef has plenty of people buying it simply because of the price point. They also have been having good sales with an emphasis on BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular Winn-Dixie.

I completed this in Florida. I moved to Mobile in April thinking changing my address would suffice. HA! Don't know where my $40 went but now I get charged for delivery tip every time, whether the Mobile store actually gets my order to me or not. I only receive about 1/3 of the orders I place. The rest I get a message saying it can't be delivered & I'll receive a refund. What's the use? This is the worst system I've ever encountered. I'm not saying Florida is better than Alabama by any stretch of the imagination BUT Florida uses its own employees and its own vans for delivery and I never had an issue. Here in Bama I've had young women deliver my groceries in their personal cars, bringing the kids along with them, including bringing them right to my door. That could potentially cause WM problems, in case they aren't aware. And their shoppers are terrible. I've tried several times to cancel my Plus membership but those requests go unanswered. I've now traded Wal-Mart for Rouse's & Pop Shelf. Cleaner, nicer, better products. No delivery but as an old Boomer, I'll make do. That's what we do.
