Update::: I was charged with a misdemeanor retail theft 4 days after the accusation because I called the store and asked to speak with the general manager. The call was placed on hold over an hour (I recorded that entire call). Turns out same employee that accused me is the one that called answered. I turned my self in and fought this in court. My charges were dismissed due to no evidence. This is after I paid a bond and paid for an attorney. The Walmart Employee that accused me of theft was arrested and charged with a felony retail theft. My case was dismissed due to no evidence. She was accusing innocent people to cover up her theft scheme. read more

The customer service was good. I have been here a few times the last few days since visiting AL. The store was also clean, they did have a sale on backpacks where they were $1, however they did not put a limit on them and customers were purchasing 10-15 bags at one time. Purchase a set of tires from this store online. I was given an appointment with a date and time. When I arrived for the appointment, they did not have the tires in the shop, nor did they have them in stone. The auto technician told me to call 1-800 number to do an inquiry. The number provided j ring five times and hung up. So I asked him what could be done about this situation. He replied I don't know." Updating my previous rant on this store..... Just when you think it could not get worse it does. The last two times I've been in that store (and the only reason I go there is because it's two blocks away) I shopped and was unable to get checked out in less than 1/2 an hour. While the inside of the store is well-lit and nicely organized, the parking lot is always a little dirty. This makes me not want to enter the store, but I enter anyway. Usually, I find the things that I want, provided that I do not need any help from the Walmart employees. As always, I come to Walmart for the low prices. Eh, location is convenient but the employees can be rude. I returned an item that I purchased online and did not receive my tax back. It was the only item for the transaction so it was easy to notice the discrepancy. The lady helping me acknowledged the issue right away but when she called for a manager, the manager asks the lady helping me "ugh, so she really wants the tax back?" I am confused why anyone would assume I would not want to receive back 100% of what I paid. this is the worst walmart in america. the cashiers and team leads argue with you and are very rude and expect you to take pictures of the pricing on the shelf to show them when items ring up for significantly more than the price advertised on the shelves. you cannot get help from management and they will never answer calls nor will they come speak to you in person. they send team leads who do not have much authority in their stead. calling their corporate complaint line for months on end yields no results and the store is constantly cluttered with pallets and workers blocking aisles and playing on their phones instead of doing their job. often there are no carts in the front of the store, forcing shoppers to collect them from the parking lot just to shop. they never have more than a few actual registers open and despite having numerous self checkouts they ALWAYS have half or more of them turned off. i have not had a single good experience in this walmart in over 7 years. read more

This had to have been one of the worse, filthiest, disgusting, awful Walmarts I have ever stepped foot in! I went to this location twice last year when visiting family for the holidays and was like, "Holy you know what!" I was so happy when I found the location on Schillinger! This year I went to this location again, reluctantly, as it was closer to my aunt's home than the Schillinger location and I needed to grab something for her quick. OMG!!! I don't think I need to elaborate. It's just down-right filthy, unorganized and the shopping experience was extremely uncomfortable! I couldn't wait to get my product and get me and my mom out of there as quickly as possible! If Walmart cares, they need to visit this location and get these employees into shape on how to present a store! I mean, I know it's Walmart and not Macy's, but come on man! Show some pride!! This location needs to be CLEANED UP or CLOSED DOWN. Walmart executives need to take one look at the parking lot of this location on any given day. Unfortunately the parking lot is treated like a trash dump ground. I was in disbelief when I moved to Mobile 2 years ago, and it hasn't gotten any better. This is a daily struggle to keep it clean from what I can tell. Some effort and/or action should be taken with efforts to encourage those throwing trash in the parking lot to stop. I suggest offering some incentive for customers to want to keep it clean, or have a "clean up" day. Something positive that works. read more

It's nice when employees are just walking around or standing in groups talking. Takes 30-45 minutes to check out because they only have 3 people on the cash registers and expect customers to use self checkout. If you need assistance with a product that is locked, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to show up and unlock the case. Would not recommend anyone going to this location. read more

The all black staff are very racist and stand over your shoulder while you're checking out, count items in your cart, and look over your entire receipt while you are trying to leave. This auto service center is like going to the circus full of clowns!!!! I take my work vehicle in for a high mileage oil change and tire rotation on August 2,2021. To start the guy checking in advised they were having computer issues. So he ( Darren walked back-and-forth for over 45 minutes before he got me checked in. I really believe it was user error but hey who am I. He offered me a fuel injection cleaner. I declined as for my original high mileage oil change antirotation. Dropped my vehicle, never got a call that they started on my vehicle, never would answer the phone so I can check the status of my vehicle. So when I went in to pick up my vehicle about 4 1/2 hours later. I realize he charge me for the fuel injector cleaning and oil change only no tire rotation. Darren volunteered to go find a manager because they paged her for an hour and nobody ever came. He started trying to tell me he get paid manager salary but without the responsibilities. Taking phone calls on work time asking the caller what she cooked for dinner etc...( remember I'm at the circus this is the main event clown) then when I finally spoke with the acting store manager Jennifer she but it was only a $5 difference. I advised her it was my $5 and I wanted it. The original automotive manager was not again he's always on top of things everything was in disarray. I guess because he was not there. I came back 5 days later on August 7,2021 to find out they never rotate my tires because David never put it in the work order. Because he rather talk more than completing the request of the customer. A few days later I ended up having to get a new tire, because it was a bad tire on my vehicle but they would've known that if they had a rotated my tires if David and put the proper information in try he work order. Technician came out of the work area assisted me with the three tires that I needed. He took ownership of all the situation, he needs a raise. read more

I have used the Walmart app for about 4 years. It's been a blessing, to help me keep track of prices, keeping me in my budget. Today, I went for an air fryer. When I scanned with the app, it gave me a price, but upon checking out, was $20 more. The cashier was very rude to me, talking and talking, but not allowing me any rebuttal, then took my air fryer and refused to check me out. I'll buy my appliances elsewhere from now on. read more

Tried the Walmart in store pick up app and contact less pick up. I did not have a good experience with either. Also don't try to use cash there, they don't want to give any change back and don't ask them to round down to the closet dollar but they are happy to round up, that is not right. on my online pick up orders they say that they have what you are ordering and when you pick it up half the stuff was out of stock or substituted with a product you did not order and they don't let you know in advanced. There are just a couple of lines open with an actual human (or as close to a human as Walmart can find to work for them) one spent 5 minutes flirting with a male customer and didn't bother to say hello to me when she was checking me out. I have no idea how this store got a good rating It was raining today when I arrived there not 1 buggy was inside I asked was there someone getting them from outside the employee just looked at me like I was an idiot or something So I went outside and got 1 from the parking lot. I seen at least 12 employees doing nothing some were talking to other employees and some were on their cell phones. I'm guessing they are not payed to get buggies. At any rate I needed earphones so I went to the electronics dept. there were 4 people employees working back there it took me 15 minutes to get one to help me and Jen he did evidently they changed the lock on the case with the $4 earphones. His key did not work so he asked the girl employee if she knew where the right key was she said nope and turned back around and started talking to the other employee again so I needed shoes anyway and I went to the shoe department and got a pair of real trees. Went to checkout and the employee there could not get the shoes to scan so she put them in a basket and rang up the rest of my things. This is one place I really do not want to go back to. If I could have given it negative stars I would have. No one there wants to actually do their job much less help a customer. read more

Eh its close in location. Still if I have an extra few minutes I go to the Schillinger Rd Wal-Mart instead or Target. They just put in self checkouts. Cool. Except none of the customers seem to know what a line is. And most of the employees are buay doing other things or talking to help. The Schillinger location has set up different displays to funnel customers and sell extra product. Here it seems like they tried but haven't really gotten it together yet. It always seems like they are restocking shelves. At 7 pm. Ironically enough I always find empty shelves and half stocked products. Hmmmm, either the reatocking is a sham or there are hundreds of people that grab the same things every morning. read more

This is the thing. You should not price match. Go to the (most likely) locally owned store offering that low price. Help keep that store in business. Management may still be requiring the cashiers to ask customers to show ads with the competitor's prices. TV ads have stated that customers don't have to do that anymore. In top of that if you have multiple matching to do that cashier will have you show ad for every item. Absolute time suck. That's living better? At this very location I went to the electronics department to buy a lightning cable. They are locked down. Fine. I go find an employee to unlock one for me. She's yapping it up with some other customers and employees. I ask that she help me with the cable. She says ok. I wait.................................... She never showed up.
