I've come to this Ruby Tuesday about 3 times now. The first time I got the mac n cheese burger & it was over cooked & quite dry but i got the salad bar w/ it so I wasn't pressed. The second time I got just the salad bar & my boyfriend got the blackened talapia so we had no issues that time & I was starting to get a good feeling about this place. Today I got the spicy chicken pimento sandwich & my boyfriend got the same dish from last time. His fish was crispy on the edges because it was so over cooked. I found a literal piece of plastic in my sandwich after I was already half way thru it. That really made me mad because if I would've accidentally swallowed the plastic, that could've messed up my stomach and intestines. Love the Salad bar-not many places have them anymore. The southern fried chicken strips and ribs were finger licking good.

So my family went to dinner on a Tuesday night. Kids eat free so that was great. The food was not great and the service was ok. Our waitress took forever and seemed unorganized. Overall, not great and I won't go back. read more

Sorry meal. We ordered the loaded Mac n' cheese & chicken Cobb salad. There was macaroni but little cheese and the middle was cold. The chicken on the salad was extremely dry and over cooked. The greens were wilted looking nothing like the picture. Noticed every chicken order that passed our table looked the same. The restaurant was warm and there were flies buzzing about. There were few patrons upon arriving and upon leaving. We left half the meal-wasn't worth taking the remainder home. BTW-we were there at 5:30. Won't go back. read more

This isn't my favorite but if this was the only place in the world than I would go there. The steak was a little greasy but it was still good. There was a lot of fat on it. It was so thick that I couldn't even chew it. As a side I got mashed potatoes. There was definitely a different kind of potato in it because it was brown. That was the worse mashed potatoes that I've had in my life. Do not get the mashed potatoes here. Our waiter was nice and the service was good. read more

It's a typical Ruby's and the food is good and the staff are great and have never had any problems.

Salad bar was good, sliders ok, service was nonexistent. Don't sit in the bar area during lunch unless your at the bar. There is only one waitress and she only pays attention to the people at the bar. read more

Food was good. I had the bourbon chicken and my wife had grilled shrimp. Baked potato and grilled zucchini were very good. Service was very good and the place looked clean. We came for a late Saturday lunch. read more

My family and I live in Montgomery NY (essentially in the middle of the Hudson Valley of NY) and I have patronized the middletown NY location of Ruby Tuesday's several times prior to last night. I believe there was only one other time I had such an overall bad experience. The details: My family, consisting of my wife, 3 boys and my Dtr, SIL and granddaughter (obviously 8 in total), were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although it was an early Sunday evening, I made reservations. They did a good job, tried to get a table appropriate table, but it happen to be adjacent to the bar. I then asked to be moved further away from the bar, which they were able to accommodate (though the hostess appeared annoyed to do it). Eventually, Marissa E approached us as our waitress. Let me strongly point out, she WAS FANTASTIC!!! She made every effort to help us and try to give us all we asked for. Nevertheless, the rest of our experience was relatively horrible. - some of our drinks from the bar were initially incorrect, though they certainly corrected everything - The salad bar was, at best, poorly maintained. All 4 salad dishes only had Iceberg lettuce (the worst, and least healthy option); there were many spaces on the frozen area that were empty; there were also MANY containers that were empty, or almost empty, including most of the dressings. - One of the orders (Crispy mac & cheese) was horrendous, actually giving my son a stomach ache! While we sent it back, he was too anxious to ask for another item, as we all had our food. - Another order (Half-rack of Ribs), which was also part of the 'for two' choices, was very dry and over-cooked - Another order (8oz sirloin) that was supposed to be medium rare was instead a well-done VERY small piece of meat. We did send that back, but even the waitress was disappointed with this. - There was also an issue with the desserts; one of my sons wanted the brownie/ice cream item but was informed the item is NO LONGER available...that was just wrong! Plus, there was nothing really to replace it. - Finally, I was still surprised by the total cost of the night ($149.26 after tax). Needless to say, I might not go back again!! read more

Went to Ruby Tuesday for fathers day and to celebrate mine and my mother's birthday. It was an awful experience. It took an hour for us to he our food. And we had many problems with the food. We ordered five meals. One was okay. Two were incredibly salty and two weren't hot. My meal had pasta in it and the pasta was cold and hard. Not hard as in undercooked but hard as in dried out almost. And just to add to it all they tried to charge us for an extra drink we didn't order. What a great way to celebrate our birthdays! Would recommend if you want to be left frustrated and unsatisfied. read more

This was my first time eating at Ruby Tuesday's. I found that some of the waitresses need to be a little bit more friendlier as my waitress was not friendly at all .seem to have a lot on her mind a little bit disconnected. We received a second server due to a shift change and we found her to be absolutely lovely and pleasant with the most beautiful smile. The salad bar was spectacularly delicious. Watch their online video of the woman singing at the salad bar .very nicely done. It has a scrumptious array of toppings. I found them to be extremely fresh and tasty. I love the fact that you can add on whatever your preference is. For the main course we ordered a chicken dish. We were very disappointed at seeing the size and portion of the piece of chicken. Please don't share it is definitely just enough for one! But on a positive note the chicken was delicious. I will definitely be back for the salad bar! read more

I wouldn't eat here again. The service was alright and salad bar was average but their steaks come out looking unappetizing and are so greasy I left with a stomachache. I realize this isn't a steakhouse but Middletown has a lot of better places to eat than this. read more

Dont go there. My husband and I used to rave about this place. Went last night what a disaster. Girl lost our name on list, Kept waiting with rows of empty tables no staff to clean. Ordered food, no Baked Potatoes. Their celebrity Pinot Grigio wine tasted like vinegar. This place has really gone to the dogs. Too many good places in Middletown, NY to put up with this type of overall mismanagement. Shame on Ruby Tuesdays. They will be going the way of many poorly run businessses. So right off the bat we had to wait almost an hour to get seated at a table. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and got three different versions of it. Had to send 2 steaks back for being under cooked. The one steak was sent back twice and the third time was still not cooked to the right temperature. They also gave us the wrong steak order. But one plus was that our waitress was very good. She may have been the only good thing about my visit. read more

I have been diagnosed with celiac disease, as well as food allergies. I went to this restaurant because I have heard they offered an allergen menu. I had previously gone there and had a pleasant experience, it must have just been the server doing their job well. Because the second time that I was there although my server was again helpful, management wasn't. When someone has a food allergy the managent is to be notified, and he was. But he openly admitted to only relaying part of my allergies to the back of house. He apologized non stop. And I thought of it as an accident, which really sucked on my part because yay I had to go to the hospital! The manager took my info and told me his corporate office would be in touch with me. Days went by and I heard nothing, so of course I called the restaurant to see what was happening. I speak to him about the situation again but this time he was not apologetic, he basically told me I lied about the entire incident (implying I faked being sick for a free meal). I finally on my own got information to corporate and called them. They did make things right,but only after I called them a few times to slove this issue. Food allergies and Celiac Disease are serious and not to be taken as a joke, I hope no one else has to have this happen to them. read more

i have never done a review before but i felt this was needed. i came here the other night with my boyfriend and as soon as we walked in the door workers just walked past us without saying hello or acknowledging us.. then we were sat down and waitress took atleast another 10 minutes to come greet us and get us some drinks, meanwhile it was dead in the restaurant. our waitress would ask us what we wanted to order and just walked away midway through my sentence saying be right back, it was so rude. simple tasks like asking for a glass of water took almost 10 minutes, if it was busy i would have understood but it was far from that. all the employees were acting so unprofessional waving there arms around yelling at each other instead of making sure there tables were ok. THEN we walk out and the host girl at the front just looked at us hesitated, then said "goodnight" with the biggest attitude i couldn't believe. even my boyfriend was in shock like not even have a good night or nicely saying goodnight thank you, don't know if it was bad staff but i was definitely disappointed read more
