Arriving during lunch at a late afternoon we were immediately seated. The waitress was a little flustered and initially rushing to get our orders and appeared distracted. After taking our order and bringing our food, things seemed slowed down and she can back and checked in on us. The place is casual with bar area with caption enclosed TV screens. Cold day wanted a hot sandwich instead of usual salad bar. This location was recently renovated in blue and white. Overwhelming odor of pine sol upon entry that never disappeared during the visit. Smell Overwhelmed the food. First people in for lunch service so messing up order seemed improbable. Ordered cheeseburger with no bun - arrived with bun. I sent it back. It came back but now French fries cold and very salty. The person I was with ordered the smokehouse burger. It was nothing like the photo. The presentation overall of both meals were sparse at best. No offer to refill the $4.49 iced tea. Server kept referring to us as 'you guys.' I am female. I commented to her that I find it offensive. Server in denial. Last time my service was excellent! This time the food patrol manager was on duty. So I added a salad bar to my husband's entree, because I cannot repeat many times, because I cannot eat that much. So the food patrol manager told my waitress to come over and tell me she was charging me for 2 full salad bars, because I let my husband have a taste, not a plate, but a taste of some pasta salad. So, I didnt even eat the 2nd plate, because, I felt like I was being watched. Regardless, the manager should have come over, nicely and just adviced us NICLEY that we couldn't do that. Such a big deal! You guys wind up throwing all this food out anyway. Me being a manager, would have nicely come over and said this was the policy, and just let me know that for the next time it had to be charged a different way. So if you have read any of my reviews, you know how I feel about salad bars post covid. I think they are unsanitary. However, Ruby Tuesdays has figured out a solution. They extended the glass partition over the bar which requires you to reach deeply into the bar to get the ingredients. Now for people with shorter arms, this might be an issue, but for germ concerned individual it's a winner! The salad bar was fresh, clean and filled. The restaurant was clean, spacious and had the music at an appropriate level. Our server, Alex was great! Friendly and attentive. The manager checked in with us to make sure all was good. The beyond burgers were excellent. The fish and chips, very good but typically a bit greasy which of course is fish and chips in general. What a very pleasant experience and it's a shame that this chain has decreased its presence around here. Will be back for sure. read more

Went last night and was a little disappointed. Food took forever to come. My steak was almost raw and mostly gristle. I had to send it back. The zucchini was flavorless and the potatoes were old and sad. The deconstructed chicken kebab was very good. Waitress was sweet but a bit slow and unobservant. We used to love Ruby Tuesday's but health issues kept us away for the past few years. Sad to see how much it has declined. Will I go back? It wouldn't be my first, or tenth, choice but if I was craving a salad or kebabs then I might give it another go...maybe. read more

We took a wrong turn & came here instead of going to grab a bite at a drive through . We are coming back here again soon because it was just that nice inside! We had an excellent lunch & with a full salad bar how can you go wrong . We had better food here than some of the places in the city that claim to be a "must go to" . My husband's Philly steak was packed with meat . Onion rings very yum! The soda was refreshing & cold (I hate being served old flat soda!!!) as the salad bar offerings were colorful & crisp . The staff was very friendly and the food was well served, plentiful& very tasty . Very nice atmosphere . I ordered a burger and fries for curbside pickup at 1:30 because I had my dog in the car and didn't want to leave her alone. I arrived early, parked in a curbside pickup spot and called to let the restaurant know I was in spot #1 when my order was ready. At 1:40, I called again to see if my order was ready yet and the girl said " I'll go check" and hung up. A few minutes later, someone came out and handed me a bag. When I looked inside, theres no napkins or ketchup. I called back, this time asked for a manager. She got on the phone and I explained and she said she was sorry. Then I had to ask again for someone to bring them out to me. Manager brought out 2 napkins and 3 ketchup packets. She asked to check my receipt and said "See, it doesnt say curbside so nobody knew". Except for the fact that I called and said "Im here in spot 1 for my CURBSIDE pickup". She also said that its company policy not to give out napkins or ketchup unless you ask for it. Seriously? Even McDonald's gives you napkins! And you have to pay and TIP online before you pick up your order. Im usually a generous tipper, but not for a lukewarm burger and soggy fries that sat on a shelf because nobody brought it out to me even though they knew I was outside waiting and this restaurant is NOT busy. I haven't even seen a Ruby Tuesdays open since I was a kid , so the excitement I had going in and seeing the salad bar from a distance brought back a ton of memories. I used to go to Ruby's back in the day on a regular. It was great back then, but now... something's changed. Im not sure if its effects of covid or what but their food was prepared lazy, seemed like it was just put on the plate with no effort. I ordered New Orleans seafood, it was creole seasoned tilapia, wish shrimp that was overcooked and tough. The sauce was good and made it possible to eat, the mashed potatoes were small and looked like they used an ice cream scoop to plate it. The other side I had was corn. Nothing good or bad about it, literally just loose corn. My drink -Sangria came with no fruit in it, my friend ordered 3 different wines and each time they came back to say they didnt have it. (Just regular wine, nothing crazy) The service left alot to be desired too unfortunately, the server was mia most of the time, never checked on us, and seemed to be in a rush when she did come back. Went to ruby Tuesdays today with my boyfriend. We walked in and were seating at a booth by the bar. I'm assuming it was the bartender who served us wish blonde hair and a Christmas sweater. Anyways, every part of us ordering was very slow. Waited 10 minutes for drinks in an empty resteraunt. Placed food orders, I ordered the New Orleans fish and my boyfriend had the burger not only were we not checked on after being served the food was terrible my tilapia and rice was so salty I only took a few bites, I asked the bartender/waitress for a box knowing I wouldn't even eat it at home and as I was boxing it up a long blonde hair came out of the fish. I told the bartender and gave me a sigh and a mumbled apology, never asked me why I only had 2 bites of the meal or offered a refund for the meal. We then waited another 10 minutes for her to take our payment in an empty resteraunt. Needless to say my check was 75 dollars for a dinner I didn't even get to enjoy or take home. Every dish at the salad bar was dirty, silverware at the table was full of water spots. the salad bar was okay but the mac n cheese dish was extremely spicy even though it did not mention that in the menu at all, the chicken on top was over cooked and dry. the highlight of my visit was hearing the workers fighting and yelling at each other in the kitchen over the loud music. our waitress was extremely nice. i don't think this location will be open much longer. i was so grossed out by the dirty plates, tables, silverware and how my dish tastes i couldn't even eat it. i went to panera across the street instead. read more

Stood for about 5 minutes at the greeter station. A guy came in one minute after me waited and left. Since no one came to seat me I grabbed two menus and sat myself. The salad bar was pretty good and stacked, bathroom clean. The waiter seemed a little annoyed I used gift cards but I guess maybe they are a bit of a pain compared to just swiping a credit card. Ruby Tuesday's was a treat back in the day (It may have been a Tuesday) Not today. Boy was this sad. I was bummed at first sight. The place looked like the 90's called and wanted everything in the place back like stuck in 35 years ago kind of feel and look. The attempts to promote are a nice effort but seems so over blown "Win a Million Dollars!" But the risk is maybe ruin your health or get sick or just plain waste your money on substandard food? So our "meal" was not good from start to finish. The staff needs some real training. The training videos don't seem to be translating into real life results. The thing that struck me was how can you be happy if the place is always kinda empty and the staff keeps getting cut and makes no money? Take that million from the contest and apply it to the staff and getting the place really revived to today's dining needs. The Salad bar is a throwback feel but an area that could be modernized and improved to be actually healthy but I am not sure that this is that certain something special that the diner of today will respond to so strongly that it will resonate as "Special." This is where I am at a loss regard Ruby's, "What is special about the place that really move the meter?" Ribs are back! But I do not smell wood smoke when I walk in so you kinda lose me here because I know in a chain what I am going to get, possibly ok ribs but not the type of "oh wow Ribs" that you might get at that wood smoker Rib-house down the street. The parking lot sets the tone, the front entry and btw "What is that smell in the entry way?" Fix that asap or..well you know. That whole first impressions thing...wow that was just wrong. That did not say delicious food ahead. What we discovered was we were wrong for not heeding this lil warning. No attention at the front and waitresses looked at us but did nothing. Great why make us wait that long when the place was so empty on a Friday night prime dinner time. The service was not great but it was not the servers fault (We tipped strong because we feel her pain) but then the wait time for an empty restaurant seemed a bit long but not end of the world long. The food however was a massive disappointment. I am in the wrong here too because I feel like if I am spending near $60 for a quick bite it should at least be pleasant and satisfying. This was neither of those. What I did wrong to was tried to reduce the stress of an already uncomfortable experience by telling the "Manager?" that everything was OK when it was not. I felt like I was being robbed that I had to pay for food that was not as good as an average person would expect quality wise, or flavor wise, for these prices. My error there I will own that one, the other one was selecting this place because it had less of a crowd which meant hey faster service and I am hungry, lets go! But not so much. One thing I would suggest to Rubys as a chain research the seating and comfort needs of today and change, change is good. The seating is uncomfortable and I get that may be a wise choice if you are trying to speed up table turnover, this place needs to do anything it can to be remotely appealing. Our meal was so bland and forgettable I question where the wheels went off the tracks but they need to rethink, well, everything. Seasonings would be a plus. I am at a loss how this store is open. If I owned it I would close it and start over. This needs so much it will take big money time and a team of sincerely commited experts to focus on the entire concept of community involvement, promotion, building, planning, execution, hiring, training, and everything required to get a winning recipe. They need to call Robert Irvine from the Food TV Network to revamp everything or something. The place needs something more than just a signature salad to win as a restaurant. If the kitchen is not producing food of a high enough quality as prices are out of control people will not step up and open our wallets for mediocrity. The next time I set foot in one the Ruby Tuesdays they will need to have made some big changes. Nothing personal more of a "To my standards" Issue. Prove me wrong you guys I want to see you do well I am rooting for you, but you have a mountain of challenge to overcome.
