Food took well over an hour to come out and then was not good. Giving this 2 stars because the broccoli was strait gas dawg.

This restaurant used to be top notch, but my experience this week was really disappointing. My friend and I each ordered the tilapia. It tasted like it had been freezer burned. The manager's reply was "some people just don't like tilapia". No, I love it, but this was real bad. My mashed potatoes were rubbery.The manager did agree with that. We sent it back and just got the salad bar. A good percentage of the toppings were frozen. The potato salad looked real bad. We paid for our soup and salad bars, but couldn't eat them. "Scrape 'em off" summarizes my experiance at this place. Arrived on a mid-week night and the place is empty, more waitresses than customers ... yes, a bad sign. Orderered steak with a side of mushrooms emphasizing I wanted the mushrooms as a side not just a couple thrown on top. Guess how it came out? Yep, a couple of charred mushrooms on top of the steak with no side. Waitress looked sheepesh as she was dropping off the plate and I objected to what she'd just placed in front off me. Rather than try and make amends she replied; "I don't know what happend, thats just the way they makem' I guess, you can scrape 'em off with a knife.". Overall place is a little stinky like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time and the staff seemed to be goofing around, dancing etc rather than serving the few customers they had. Its so bad that I suspect that the managment itself is rather incompetent and worry about what horrors lurk in the kitchen and beyond. Won't be back myself but frankly this location is truly an embarrassment to the brand that is crying out for an intervention from corporate. read more

So, we ordered 4 meals. 2 came out perfect, one was wrong, just needed a simple fix....the other, the new Bella steak thing was ordered medium rare. I got it medium close to well! It was flavorless and just yuck! BUT (the reason I'm giving 4 stars) they came out with a new steak that was cooked properly and full of flavor! It's ok to make a mistake as long as they can fix it timely and well :) Salad bar is always good. Wish they had cottage cheese, but oh well. We will keep coming back. read more

Moderate pricing, nice restaurant. We got the salad bar and a sampler for our order. While the salad bar was good enough, they managed to forget our sampler order. The night we were there it wasn't even particularly busy, maybe 50% full at most. After a half an hour our server said it would be out in 2 or 3 minutes. 10 minutes later it still wasn't out. We had them take it off our check at about the 1 hour mark. Overall not a great experience but maybe worth a shot, we could've just had bad luck. read more

A good example of the chain. The salad bar is first rate, it includes many non-lettuce options for those who need it. Included with some items, about $3 extra on others. Seems like a random choice on the menu as to if is included or not. The Salmon was ok, a little overcooked; the spaghetti squash is delightful. The Chicken Bella was a good choice, though hard to believe it is under 500 calories. The Onion rings are just OK. Service was friendly, but the entrees came out too quickly to allow finishing salads leisurely. Seems a bit pricey for this type of place, but the salad bar inclusion makes up for it if that's what you like. read more

Visited Ruby Tuesday's (3-2-15) following some meeting we had in the evening, so my friend and I didn't get there until at least 8:00 PM. He had a nice pork chop and I had the popcorn shrimp with a side of onion rings. The staff was pleasant but since when does one have to ask for cocktail sauce for the shrimp? That plus the shrimp and the onion rings were WAY over cooked...hard as a rock. I couldn't eat all of them as they were too hard. I should have asked and complained to the manager but I was too tired to haggle with them. Of note, the salad bar was wonderful and thus Ruby Tuesday's getting better than a 1-star rating. Even so, they didn't have crackers or bread items on the salad bar. Personally I thought my meal sucked, but my friends pork chop was very good. Moral of the story...caveat emptor. If I ever go back it won't be for the popcorn shrimp, I'll get the chops instead. read more

My experience at this restaurant was good not great. The waiter was great and when the manager walked around to check on us he seemed like he really cared. I loved their flavored lemonades, specifically the Mango. The food was pretty average. I got the triple prime bacon cheeseburger and wasn't very impressed with it. read more

It was late and my girlfriend and I needed. We came to Ruby Tuesdays, and saw a sign saying we needed to wait for a server to seat us. As we were waiting we watch an employee we assume is off the clock filling a ToGo box full of food from the salad bar. We figured she is off the clock and just trying to leave. Approximately 10 minutes go by until someone comes out and notices us and asks us to wait until she has found a section that was open. She found a small booth right next to a party of 9 people. The booth was still dirty so we had to wait for the worker to clean the booth. There was nobody else in the restaurant but it seemed important that we sit next to the party of 9... We sit down and Jennifer was our server. We had come in an hour before close, but now it felt closer so we try to decide and order fast. My girlfriend orders coconut shrimp and the endless salad bar. Our server comes to take our order and right as my girlfriend orders the salad bar... The employee that we thought had clocked off and filled her box with food came out and started tearing the salad bar down. She was still on the clock, she just didn't care that we were standing there waiting. My girlfriend speaks up a little bit louder and confirms that we could get the salad bar. Jennifer said that's not a problem. I also ordered the salad bar and the ribeye steak with the bourbon chicken mashed potatoes and broccoli. Jennifer goes to grab our drinks, and tells us we can go start on the salad bar. We stand up and see that there are no serving spoons, tongs, no plates, and the lettuce is gone. Jennifer comes back with our drinks and we ask if we can still get salad because there are no utensils. Jennifer goes back into the kitchen to confront the other worker and finally the other employee comes out with the plates... Slowly goes back into the kitchen and comes back out with the lettuce... Slowly goes back into the kitchen and brings out one spoon and sticks it in the ranch. She disappears into the kitchen and does not come back out. Jennifer comes to check on us and sees we haven't eaten yet. The girl had not brought the tongs and spoons so there was no way to serve ourselves. Jennifer apologizes again, goes in the kitchen, grabs a bunch of utensils and asks us what we would like to have on the salad bar to be sure we can grab whatever we would like. My girlfriend and I grab two plates and fill the plates with whatever we can have because we know there was not going to be a second trip. Everything we eat from the salad bar tasted like it was soaked in ham juice. Our food comes. The steak that I ate wasn't the best, but my girlfriend enjoyed my french fries. We tipped Jennifer because we know how hard it is to be a server, but particularly a server who is covering for a lack of leadership. I do not think we will be going back there anytime soon. read more

This is about the sixth time I've been to Ruby Tuesday's on N. 27th Street in Lincoln Nebraska. I always find the staff very helpful and cordial. The manager always comes to my table and asks me how my meal is. The service is really good. And the food, so far, has been excellent. The chicken and pasta with broccoli was amazing tonight! I normally sit at the bar & only once was my service not that great there. Of the 4-5 times I've sat at a table the service has been good about 50% of the time. Decent chain food. The salad bar isn't as epic as it once was. I think these types of chains aren't doing as great as they used too and probably had to cut back a bit. The bar is nice and they have a margarita flight which is a fun way to try 4 different kinds in one sitting! If you sign up for their email club you get a free burger coupon up to a $10 value. This last May I got mine as is my birthday tradition to take myself to lunch there. I substituted the one trip salad bar for my fries and got the turkey burger and water for my drink. With tax and tip and the small up charge for the salad bar I left paying $4 which was a great bday treat for me! read more

I can't even...ugh. we ordered drinks then a dinner to share. About 20 minutes later our waiter began apologizing for the wait, after 10 more minutes 5 here was an "accident" in the kitchen with our shrimp...but wait, we didn't order shrimp.?!? Then the shrimp came to the table - we ordered chicken and crab cakes...20 minutes later we got our food. It was not good. Didn't even look appetzing. From my past experience, this place was lovely and my family would always go there. There was great selection of food on the menu and not to mention the great service. But recently I went there on a Sunday morning with my family. We entered the restaurant and it didn't take long to be seated, which was a plus. We ordered our drinks, and this is where they started to mess up. After we ordered, we got half of our drinks but one of the drinks weren't the right one. It took another 5 minutes to get the other half of our drinks, which was a simple 2 lemonades and 2 teas. As we sit there, we are all ready to order but we were there for about about 40-50 minutes and we still haven't ordered due to our waitress not coming to our table. The service use to be so quick and fast but now it has changed. We waited quite a bit to get our food, and the food wasn't worth the wait. read more

I ordered a "Top Sirloin" steak, with mashed potatoes and green beans. My steak looked rather petite, for a top sirloin, especially when there was a petite sirloin option on the menu. When eating my steak, it was rather salty; something I have never really worried about on my steak, but it was salty. Mashed potatoes were sub part, but the green beans weren't bad. We usually go here based on the great coupons they provide for newer items on their menu. This time it was for a free flat bread pizza with the purchase of an adult entree. I am vegetarian so the salad bar was really the one of 3 choices in their menu. I planned to do soup and salad but they were out if the only soup without meat. I opted for a spaghetti marinara meal. It was very bland and the marinara tasted like if was a cheap store brand. My husband got the flat bread and felt the same with the taste if his food. Our server was great considering we had our 21 month son with us. A coupon is a coupon but I do not think we will be returning due to not liking anything from Ruby Tuesdays but their salad bar, which seems to have drastically been downsized with items to select from. read more

It's been a long time since I stopped at a Ruby Tuesday. We were on our way through Lincoln around dinner time. After a little research I realized they had an allergen menu, so we decided to stop since I have dairy and gluten intolerances. I was really impressed with their allergen menu. It was really easy for me to find something to eat. I was also excited to see spaghetti squash and zucchini on their menu; two items I eat often but don't typically see on a menu. Service was good. I usually enjoy having a Ruby Tuesday in the neighborhood, but tonight's experience had us wondering how long they will be in business. We got there around 8:30 far from closing time and we noticed several staff pulling tables out cleaning and no problem but then there got to be 4 of them and they were joking around and then they were dancing to Taylor swift "shake it off" song. It is a catching tune so we thought they would only briefly dance. We know there's nothing wrong with having good time but they kept it up singing and dancing to each other. We kept saying we should video them but we didn't. It seemed very unprofessional and it wasn't like we were the only ones in there close to closing. There was 4 tables of people. One couple dealt a long time with a manager. Then another staff was digging with her fingers into a salt shaker to refill it and the tab must of went inside so we watched her digging without gloves into the salt. Our server was friendly but seemed very robotic in what she said and was in such hurry to take our plates that the dressing went flying off my brothers salad plate and we tried telling her but she was just going so fast. Then when we did want our ticket hard to find her also had heard her down talking the other staff to the complaining couple. The hostess seemed lost and didn't bring enough menus when seated.
