Do I dare say I found my new favorite burger spot in Lincoln? I know it's a bold statement, but it's true. Discovered HF Crave by word of mouth, thanks to my in-laws. I ordered the blue cheese burger and sweet potatoes tots. The burger was bangin'. It was packed with flavor, I love the onion straws in them. The sourdough buns were to die for. The sweet potato fries and tots were so fresh. It tasted as if they picked the sweet potatoes from the garden that day lol. We ordered the cheese curds and spicy corn nugs as well. 10 out of 10 recommend for all my burger lovers out there! read more

Usually any beef in Nebraska is really good, so I had high hopes for this place, and I had heard good things about it. But it was absolutely terrible. I got one of their featured burgers and it had no depth of flavor despite having so many toppings on it that added nothing. I also got a side of onion rings and I couldn't even finish them because they were so greasy I felt like I was drinking oil. I also asked for the drink menu and noticed that it was already on our table And went to grab it, and the waiter said "oh, that's the drink menu for adults, but we have Pepsi products". Frugal. Disappointing. Not-Craving-this-again. Lunch with my active-duty brother and other siblings. Military discount only applied to ONE item on the menu--felt disrespectful and almost humorous. Discounted $1.80 to the bill. Other things to note: Menus are pixelated. Served 6 fries to my brother. The only thing I enjoyed about this experience was our server was lovely and it was a quiet environment. I had a disappointing experience at HF Crave today, June 26, 2026. I ordered the mushroom burger and specifically asked if it could be made without onions. The server confirmed that it could. However, when my meal arrived, it was missing not only the onions but also the mushrooms. After I brought this to the server's attention, the manager said they would make it right. A replacement was brought out, but it was served without a bun--just the burger, cheese, and mushrooms on a plate. The manager then explained that the mushrooms and onions are prepared together and cannot actually be separated. Had I been told that when I ordered, I would have chosen something else. Unfortunately, while eating the replacement, I found a hair on my burger. I notified my server, who was courteous and promptly took the meal back. Although the kitchen staff examined the burger, the manager never returned to apologize or address the situation personally. The restaurant did remove the cost of the burger from my bill, which I appreciated, but I was still charged for my Diet Coke. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the combination of inaccurate information, multiple errors with my order, and the lack of follow-up from management made for a very disappointing dining experience. I appreciate the professionalism of my server, but based on this experience, I will not be returning or recommending HF Crave to others. read more

I came to this location today and was incredibly disappointed! I started out with spicy corn Nug's and they were amazing the server gave very little care and it seemed like we were bothering him, I then ordered a pb&b burger with onion rings and the slap your mama with sweet potato tots, the pb and onion was ok but the slap your mama was so bad I asked like 4 times for no onions on anything it makes me break out with rashes so I don't eat it it came out smothered in onion and when I asked if he could have it remade he said I could pick them off for you but I can't remake it, and the tots had no flavor at all but that was ok I asked for the burger to be medium and they were fried so bad they had a layer of charcoal on top of both of them. I paid for my food that I did not eat I left 2 full plates there and the server was still rude even till the end of the service and I still tipped him. I work in the service industry and I know how it is to have a bad day but that was not ok in the slightest! read more

Our table ordered four different burgers and all four were not good. -buns were not heated up at all -burgers and fries were bland -the fries weren't good and the plates looked half empty when we got them-they did not give hardly any. We haven't visited Crave since it moved out of its south pointe location. The experience at this location was much different, but the burgers still tasted amazing Despite being busy, we were able to be seated right away in a comfortable booth, and our food came out quickly and correctly. This location offers an extensive menu with kids meal options, cocktails, local craft beers on tap, appetizers, and desserts My 5 year old ordered a kids cheeseburger meal with waffle fries (and chocolate milk as a drink option - yay!). It came out in a metal bucket that he was delighted with. And (most importantly) he ate and enjoyed every single bite. I ordered the talladega burger with sweet potato fries. The burger came topped with sriracha honey glazed pork belly, peach habanero sauce, pickled red onion and cream cheese on a sourdough bun. I thought it would be a little spicier, but the flavor was good. Don't skip on the dipping sauces. The ranch is homemade, and the creamy garlic (my favorite) pairs perfectly with pretty much anything. read more

I moved in with my boyfriend who lives right on top of HF Crave and this is quite a dangerous decision! I can totally see myself going here a bit too often especially with so many options to choose from! The two of us ordered burgers for pickup and they were both ready at the time specified and perfect to the order. (We asked for a lot of customizations) I got You're Bacon Me Blue with chicken breast, a side salad instead of coleslaw/fries, and extra lettuce. For the sauce I asked for jalapeno ranch. That chicken breast was so perfectly cooked - proper juicy and not dry at all. The entire brother as a whole was so so so good! The bacon and blue cheese and chicken just went so so well together. I actually felt bad when it was over because I wanted more. I ended up not adding that jalapeno ranch because it was actually super spicy! The burger was amazing as it was. My boyfriend got the Not My First Rodeo; Need cooked medium rare with extra tomato, lettuce, and the Ancho BBQ sauce. Also with a side salad. He really loved the burger, and I must say it looked really good as well. I tried some of that barbecue sauce and it actually was amazing! Side salads were both really fresh too. This used to be my favorite local place but after 2 independent bouts of extreme food poisoning, I'll never be back. I never listen to reviews like this myself, but I'd recommend you at least hear this: if you order a burger, make sure you order *to temperature* of 145+. "Medium well" got me sicker than I've ever been in my life, TWICE, from back-to-back experiences of eating here, about 8 months apart. (I did not eat here between instances.) And while I was asking my bathroom floor why God hates me so much (for the second time), I started connecting the dots. In my humble opinion (and with days of personal suffering invested), I recommend you save yourself the food poisoning and eat somewhere else. read more

I suppose HF Crave may be very appealing for those who love meat. It's clearly a meat and burger-heavy menu. Their website says GET REAL ABOUT YOUR BEEF. Being a vegetarian that is the exact opposite of what I want to get real about. But I happened to be stopping through Lincoln and wanting to not just eat fast food, so I gave HF Crave a shot. Got their veggie burger with waffle fries. Also an appetizer of cheese curds. The cheese curds, waffle fries, and their sauce options that come along with were all fine. The veggie burger was not particularly good. Just a mashed together mess of a burger that relied on its condiments to deliver anything. All in all, a fine experience but this is mostly a message for vegetarians that happen to be in the area on it being an average experience. I imagine it's a far more exciting place for the meat eaters out there. read more

My HF Cowboy Up Burger ranks as about the 4th best burger I've ever had. (For a better one locally, try Honest Abe's.) It was incredibly messy and very flavorful. Beef is locally sourced. I recommend their root beer. They have outdoor dining (without any umbrellas on this visit). Fresh water is supplied for canine guests. Islands in the roadways hamper access, so expect to go around a block or two to get into the parking lot. read more

Decided to drop in for Friday lunch while in town visiting some family and was not disappointed. I am a burger fanatic and love places that have their own farms to source meat directly fresh from. As we walked in, we were greeted right away and given the choice of what type of table we wanted to sit at. After looking over their many burger choices, ended up going with the You're Bacon Me Jelly Burger with waffle fries. Ordered the fries crispy and they came out perfectly crisp yet not overdone. The seasoning on the fries was superb and definitely set them apart from other waffle fries. The You're Bacon Me Jelly Burger had a good mixture of savory from the peanut butter and saltiness from the bacon jelly mix and bacon slices. The burger had a nice smoky taste and was extremely juicy. The grape jelly bacon jam did give it quite a sweet aftertaste, so it would not be a regular burger but a nice change thrown in here and there. I definitely will be back to try the other burgers each time I am in town. read more

We had a large to go order with many different burger selected. I ordered the Talladega Burger, it had good flavor pairing but was a little disappointed with the pork belly it was just undercooked fat. Unfortunately the burger was extremely undercooked also, we asked for all the burgers to be medium temp but seemed like we all got very rare almost raw burgers, I don't think anyone finished their burger because of this. On the plus side I thought the waffle fries where very good. I think I need to give HF crave another try maybe just a one off. I tried them a long time ago when they were located in South Lincoln and was very impressed. read more

We stopped in just after 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Just our party of 4 and 3 other tables. Seated and greeted quickly. Small modern seating area with 5 or so booths and mostly tables with chairs. Server was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. We were in town visiting the children's museum with our kiddos ages 6 and 9. Kids under 12 eat free on Sundays, which was very appealing. At $5.50 for a burger/hot dog/grilled cheese with fries and a drink their kid's meals are super reasonable even without the Sunday deal. Husband and I both ordered burgers and the thick patties were cooked to a perfect juicy medium (they do ask your preference on preparation). I had the Cowboy Up burger--homemade ancho BBQ sauce had a good balance of sweet and smokey. The carmelized onions were awesome! Waffle fries were fresh with just the right amount of crispiness and good seasoning. Hubby had the Steakhouse burger--he sopped up every last bit of the homemade steak sauce and really enjoyed the sweet potato tots. Kiddos polished off their buckets of grilled cheese and waffle fries. Grilled cheese was nice and gooey and the bread was not burnt or overly crunchy the way you often find at other restaurants. read more

Great atmosphere! As we walked in there were several cucumber brines sitting in the sun slowly turning into pickles. (Side note: the wonderful owner grabbed a sample of their finished pickles. They were crunchy and extremely yummy!) Their menu has a great range of unique yet delicious hamburgers to try. And, they provide as many accommodations for food needs as possible. For example, gluten free, different size burger for those who can't eat a larger size, multiple sides, and other dishes or sandwiches for the non hamburger eaters. On top of this, they try to ethically source their food if not make items in house. I didn't add an image, because all the images already linked are on par! We came to Lincoln to visit family and came here for lunch mid afternoon, no cocktails because we had to drive back to KC but the cocktail menu looked fun! Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. The buildout is recent but has an unfinished feel. A trip to the men's room shows unfinished tile work that needs to be grouted. They have been open a couple of months. There is outside seating for the 10 or so nice days a year that we have in Nebraska. The interior is spacious with lots of glass and hard surfaces which makes the restaurant quite noisy. The waitstaff is attentive and polite and happy to answer any questions we had. Our food arrived with fries and two sauces we selected. The jalapeño ranch had an in perceptible amount of heat or flavor of Jalepeno in it. It was more like they put a single green chilie in two gallons of ranch and blended. I expected this to be the spiciest sauce but the garlic sauce won that distinction. The burger was very flavorful abet the meat was dry. Next time I will order it medium to hopefully be more moist. If they tell me that that is the only way they prepare it, I would not return. The chicken sandwich wadecent enough. The breast was over cooked and dry. Perhaps the cook needs to use a meat thermometer to make things perfect. The fries, both regular and sweet potato were quite good. Looks like they are still working some bugs out. Definitely worth going to again. I like the new location better than when they were in some Southpoint strip mall but parking is kind of a nightmare because it's underneath a bunch of apartments. The food is always hot and fresh and I love the farm to table concepts but you will pay a premium for your meal because of that. The bacon and blue cheeseburger is a personal favorite, but if you're looking for something a little bit different I recommend getting the peanut butter one. I like that their cheese curds seem to have more of a homemade beer battered flavor/style rather than just some thing off of a basic food truck that just gets thrown into a fryer. read more
