    Birria burrito

I had heard a lot of good things about this spot and it did not disappoint. They have a really unique menu. They've got loaded baked potatoes, Mexican food, sandwiches, and good desserts as well. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. I decided to get the chicken Alfredo loaded baked potato, this was amazing! The Alfredo sauce was homemade. They load it up with chicken and cheese, and the potato was cooked perfectly. I also went with the birria burrito and this was another hit! They load it up with ingredients and they fry the tortilla perfectly. It's a family owned spot with great service and I highly recommend, go Check them out when you get a chance!

So we were actually looking for a drive through coz we wanted to relive our days in California. But our dog got sick so i sent my hubby to do a drive through. Well... its not a drive through. Its a little restaurant. And the hubs ordered and waited for the food. Cant comment on the ambiance coz i havent been there But the food. Absolute delish. Have to point out that the child's portion is HUGE! Almost the same as the adult portion. But the crispy chicken is superbly cooked. Crispy and delicious. We would definitely like to go back and eat at that reataurant. If take out can be that great- dine in would be absolutely marvellous!!!

Crazy good! I've never had a potato like this before. This was something far more than a baked potato more like a giant birria taco on a potato. It was delicious and service staff were friendly and helped us out greatly with our larger group. Would love to come back to this place.

All the food looks and tastes delicious. We had Fajita Chicken Potato and a Barbecue Potato. They were wonderful. Place was busy at noon but people were served quickly.

    Birria Potato!

This place rocks! Ignore the people who say the prices are high. You get so much food and the service can't be beat. The guy even kept my to go order in the warmer until we got done eating.

Caesar salad, pulled pork sandwich, and nacho fries

It was so amazing!! The workers checked on us while we were eating and he was just so nice!! The food was absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend the nacho fries, pulled pork sandwich, and crispy chicken sandwich. The wait wasn't too bad at all either. The vibe of the restaurant is so cute and they have a kids corner so if you have kids or if you're babysitting this place is friendly to them too!!The cashier however kinda did give a little bit of attitude but she was definitely just tired after a busy rush! I cannot recommend this place enough!! The best food in Lincoln without a doubt!

I've seen it packed here on the weekends! They serve up yummy American food. I ordered the chicken slider appetizer, hubby got a salad with candied walnuts, strawberry and poppy seed dressing, our kiddo got the kids mac n cheese with fruit. Everything was quite tasty. The only slider I didn't care for was the Nashville hot, the sauce had an interesting after taste. My favorite slider was the honey mustard bacon and arugula. This dish made me inspired to make it at home. The salad was yummy. My toddler enjoyed the Mac and cheese and cookie for dessert. What gives this place five stars is a convenience and location. It's located in Southe point mall, right across the movie theater. You can also shop after to walk off the calories you consumed haha. Ambiance is nice as there is indoor and outdoor seating along with patio games :)

It took 15 minutes for us to get our drinks and be able to order food. I had the chicken BLT Salad and my husband had the Chicken Fried Chicken. There was hardly and bacon in my salad and some of the chicken was mushy. The chicken fried chicken was dry and hard and needed a steak knife to cut through it. We recalled why we hadn't been here for some time...

We happened to be in the Lincoln area for an event, and he begged to visit the Hi-Way Diner again to relive those memories he cherishes. It was pretty early in the morning, so a breakfast stop did sound pretty appealing to me. We popped in and the interior is pretty cute, with vintage signs and items scattered throughout. The look of the building is a little worse for wear, I will say, with musty carpets, fluorescent lighting, and a faded smell of a building that has been standing a while (which this has) along with the delicious smells of the food cooking. Ignoring the smells and sights, we stood in line to get a table. It was a Sunday when we were there, so very busy obviously. We were seated at a booth, and perused the menu. Let me tell you right now now, you do NOT come here for health food. It's either very heavy meaty options, or sweet pancakes and waffles. Because of the aforementioned heaviness of the fare, my husband and I decided to split two entrees and share the sides. I chose the South Street Meatloaf, and it tasted just like my mom used to make, with a ketchupy brown sugar glaze. My better half chose the Chicken Fried Chicken, and it was ENORMOUS. For our sides, we had mashed potatoes and corn, and those were pretty standard - nothing to write home about. We packed most of our entrees and sides away to take home, because my husband said we had to try the pancakes too! He got the standard pancakes and doused them in butter and blueberry syrup. Can't go wrong there. I got the Magic Toast and chose the French Toast flavor. It was very well battered and came with some delicious syrup to top it with. Highly recommend trying anything from the Magic Toast menu. Hi-Way Diner is definitely a hole in the wall style eatery, but it's worth a stop in Lincoln if you're looking for a tasty breakfast at a pretty affordable price!

I sat at the bar and had phenomenal service. I got the Aragon burger with a tallow fries, covered in bacon jam! I will have to say, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had in my life. It came out very hot, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sauce is super yummy. But it's a grilled onions that really make it. The fries came out hot, crispy, and very tasty. This is a phenomenal restaurant with some very good food. Unless you're lucky you get a seat at the bar, I'm sure reservations are required.

Service was very good. We were seated promptly and asked if we were ready for the next course at appropriate times. We had the 3 course dinner with the summer salad, lasagna Bianca and steak. I personally thought the salad was the best! The array of flavors was very satisfying from the crunch of the pine nuts to the smoothness of the ricotta to the tanginess of the dressing. Would highly recommend. The lasagna was good... but very one note... and that note is "richness". It didn't really taste like anything more, which in effect made it not much different from an ordinary lasagna I could make at home and not pay that much for it. The steak was not well seasoned, which I wouldn't have minded but the cook was a bit beyond the medium rare I asked for. Overall I probably would be back to try something else. But dish is still superior in terms of fine dining in Lincoln in my opinion.

We didn't know what to expect from an underground bar with $4 margaritas in a college town, but it was a fun place! They have darts, arcades, a huge jenga, and other games available to play. There's a big bar in the center and another small one by the arcade games. They have some good food and drink deals for happy hour and late night. Food was okay, nothing to come here for, but good if you need a nosh while you drink. They had a walking taco, which surprised me! The bar selection was surprising, they have good bourbon like Eagle Rare, Blanton's, and Weller and top shelf liquors of other kinds too. Bathrooms were okay, the toilet seat on one of the toilets was wobbly so that would be a bad situation if you've had too much to drink! It also smelled weird, but again it's a basement bar in a college town so I'll pick my battles.
