Was nice to be able to stop in, no reservation, and get a spot at the bar. Came in out of the cold and were able to let all the traffic clear out. We both had two different drinks, I wish I remembered what it was called but it had limoncello in it and I loooooved it. I'm sure we will stop by after the next game we go to because it was a really nice place to stop at and the service was great.

Fun little bar and restaurant in the Graduate hotel in Haymarket. We were walking back to our parking garage spot after a game on Black Friday and saw the sign in front that says "bourbon & steaks" on the front of the building and figured we couldn't go wrong here. We popped into the bar, but there's a restaurant too, and you can get food in the bar area. I got the bananas bourbon, it was sweet but not too much banana. My husband got the fool's gold which was a lemon inspired drink. Moderately priced, they had a fair bourbon selection with most of the classics. I'd love to come back to try the food sometime because it looked great too.

Yum! I love to stop in here before a basketball game or when I'm down in the Haymarket. You've gotta start things off right, with a Stack for the table. Their fries are the perfect crispness, and the béarnaise sauce, cheese, and pulled pork makes for an irresistible appetizer. I'm also a big fan of their burgers. I had the classic burger this time, and loved their secret sauce. I also really enjoyed their creamy Mac and cheese, which had just a bit of kick to it!

Service is light but the restaurant doesn't get slammed and the food is great! Honey Brine pork chop, asparagus, garlic, butter, sour cream, mashed potatoes would definitely recommend highly

Passing through going to Chicago we want to try steak in NE. This is the only one open on Sunday since it is attached to a hotel. The place has a casual setting and it looks realy nice and clean. The hostess is really nice. Its brunch but we are here for steaks . They have lunch options as well which are mostly sandwiches. We ordered the bone-in ribeye which I shared with my hubby and NY steak which has one free side. We got the mac n cheese and caesar salad. You have to pay for the butter but only $2 choices include bone marrow butter and smoked four roses. We really enjoyed the steak. It does not show on the picture but had the right flavor and juiciness. Cooked perfectly the way we wanted it. Added the butter we ordered and perfect! MacNCheese is yummy too. I think it is pricey but I think it is worth it. Maybe indulge once in a while.

Friendly bartender service with a great variety of offerings including non-alcoholic. Classic bar stool seating and cozy booths. The restaurant decor could use an update but plenty of seating for couples and groups. Convenient for hotel guests and Haymarket Square visitors.

Single barrel is one of the most underrated restaurants in Lincoln for me. Their barbecue is delish and pretty fairly priced for the quality that you're getting. The service has always been helpful and I haven't ever seen the restaurant too full which makes it easier to get your food quickly. Much easier to get a last minute reservation than similar restaurants in the area. Great spot to bring a group!

Salmon was way undercooked with 1/3 of it literally raw! One bite of the parsnip puree was definitely not enough!

Took awhile but we found a steak in the Haymaker District so had to go! We didn't know at the time that Single Barrel was in a hotel so perhaps had too high of expectations. Hotel restaurants can be hit or miss and the food at Single Barrel was just off target a bit. We sat in the bar and service was attentive but dare I say a bit too cocky? The first taste of that was after we sipped our Manhattan's a couple times and were asked how they tasted. We said they were wonderful and we got "Of course they are, I made them". That's the tone that was kept throughout our meal! A little off putting but attentive! The food took forever! We thought at one point they perhaps lost our order but then the microwaved chicken dip and stale chips finally came! An eternity later our steak and salmon arrived. Steak was very unevenly cooked and lukewarm, wouldn't even melt the butter! The shrimp skewer was cold, the salmon was undercooked and barely room temp and the parsnip puree was not even one bites worth! Not a spot we'll return to unless we need a good Manhattan while passing by!

Straight forward, no frills and excellent food/bourbon! So definitely one of the most reviewed restaurants that come up when you look for a good spot in Lincoln. It's attached to the Graduate hotel and conveniently located. The service was super friendly and inviting...huge list of great bourbon and cocktails! Now the food was all well done! We had the: Burger, salmon, bourbon chicken and prime ribeye. The bourbon chicken with dirty brisket rice was top notch. For a good meal in an inviting environment...this is the place in Lincoln.

Very nice selection of food and beverages!! Josh was very attentive to our needs, excellent service. The Single Barrel has a very open concept. Tables are pretty far apart from each other so not a lot of noise from other tables.

Drinks and food were delicious! My very picky brother got the chicken sandwich and loved it. I got the salmon- delicious!started out with cornbread. Very yummy. The bacon jam was gross(and I love bacon, but the bread was great!) Drinks are super cheap and made with quality whiskey! A huge plus. Our server was super attentive and polite, we sat inside right by one of the big window switch is open and had a nice breeze, it looks like it may be just a fancy place but we felt comfortable there been in casual clothes and I'm a stop during our trip .

The ambiance is pretty low key. Not really an intimate dining experience. The bar is really well stocked if you are into bourbons/whiskey's. Not so much if you're into tequilas. I was here for lunch. The menu is a bit limited. My 6 oz. filet was cooked to perfection, rare and still mooing! The bartender is pretty worked up and talkative. My draft beer and a shot went well with my meal. I did ask to see a dinner menu. The offerings were more diverse and suited to a dinner place. I will be back at some time for dinner. This place needs to advertise more.

Stopped by the SB on a stop through town with a work colleague. We started with really, really good mixed drinks: I had an old-fashioned and he had a dirty (nasty) Martini. Both fabulous! We started with corn fritters and cornbread. The cornbread came with 3 spreads, my favorite being the jalapeño honey. For entrees, we had a bone in ribeye with sour cream mashed potatoes and the 8oz filet with Mac n cheese. I am not convinced my filet was 8oz as it looked much, much closer to a 6oz. For dessert, we had a chocolate lava mouse cake and caramel apple cheesecake. Both delicious. The 4 stars have more to do with the amazing service and apps than anything else. The entrees were a 3 at best. For the cost of dinner, I could have bought a small country. I would go back, but only for lunch as the sandwiches look really good.

Pretty solid but don't be fooled. $48 for a choice ribeye (not prime), is like 40% too much. And it was pretty mid at that.

Hostess was very prompt and we were brought into a private dining room for our dinner Our server Tatum was wonderful. She was very attentive and we enjoyed the service. Tasting menu can be found online and its 185 per person. We ordered ala carte. We ordered Crab sanchetti, grilled octopus, hamachi sashimi, tajarin dala forma and a 48oz steak to share. We had a group of 7. Ambiance was fantastic till the other party of about 10 came into the private room. They were very noisy and not very considerate. Our drinks came promptly. I had a midnight mist, hubby had the raspberry berret. And my mom in law had some red dessert wine. Food was fanstastic. The hamachi sashimi was delicious - super fresh. Oysters were absolutely delish very well shelled. The grilled octopus was tender and not overly cooked. The steak was tender and delicious in the au jus. The mash was whipped and absolutely creamy like cloud. We ordered the 48 oz ribeye steak to share it was delicious and they do slice it up for you so that it is easy to share. The spaghetti tajarin dala forma was made table side and the head of service explained what he was doing step by step. Unfortunately, this experience was marred by our neighbours for the night as they were enjoying themselves too much. The shisito pepper on the mash was nicely crusted and absolutely delish. Even the onion, and green onions were devoured. After that, we ordered dessert. I had the stone fruit chocolate tart and it was decadent. Chocolate with light mint. Absolutely delicious It came with a price tag though. Great for occassions- like birthdays and anniversaries when you want to splurge A wonderful experience! Thank you to all at the Casa Bovina. Definitely a night to remember.
