Nice little restaurant attached to a Marriott hotel property. The miller high life theme is fun. The staff was very kind. I thought the cocktail options were pretty novel and quite impressive for little ole Lincoln. I'd recommend to any hotel guests! read more

Yummmmmmm the grilled cheese with avocado was simple but SO good! Service was friendly. This place is fine for what it is: a hotel restaurant downtown. Works well for travelers at the hotel and the menu is basic American. read more

Nice spot for a quick drink, located right in the lobby of the Cornhusker Hotel. We've only ever sat at the bar, but it's always been a good experience. Service is solid, with plenty of beers on tap and bottles to choose from, and a few TVs if you're looking to catch a game. We ordered the calamari appetizer and were very impressed, fresh calamari with a lightly seasoned batter, cooked well, and a generous portion size. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to for dinner to see how the full menu holds up. read more

I ordered the soup and salad. Came out quickly. Caesar salad was great. Chili I don't think had any meat or chili flavoring. It was beans with tomato. read more

I'm in Lincoln for work and this place recommended to me by a local. Overall it's a solid spot. Prices are reasonable, the service is great, and they have a very good selection of drinks. I had the fish and chips. It was a good selection but had a couple misses. The fish while 99% great, suffered from having a few spots at the ends of the fillets were the batter tough and the fish chewy. It was only about 1/4 inch on both ends of one fillet and one 1/4 inch spot on the second. But it was enough to bring the fish down a notch. The fries were good but some were very over cooked. The coleslaw was a dry bland throw away dish, I've had better coleslaw at KFC. The tartare sauce was great with a really nice balance of flavors that enhanced the taste of the fish. At the end of the day it was a very good choice and a very good value for the money. read more

Be careful about eating breakfast there!!! Had business in Lincoln at 1pm. Went down to restaurant to get a bite to eat at 1020. They close for breakfast at 10 and do not reopen until 11. So was told we could go to Starbucks for their breakfast. But kitchen had turn off all the toasters etc!! read more

Miller Time Pub & Grill is a downtown sports bar and grill inside The Cornhusker Hotel. We held a small business dinner here and everyone seemed pretty satisfied. We ordered appetizers. The nachos are HUGE, messy, and delicious. I ordered the Killians Irish Red BBQ Glazed Salmon which is a 6 oz salmon fillet served on a bed or potluck fried rice with roasted broccoli. Finished with lemon garlic sauce. I enjoyed the salmon and the glaze flavor but the fried rice was a little too fried and added an overall bitterness to the dish. I would get this again and hope for the best. read more

Unless you're staying at the Cornhusker, this is a hard pass. The service was abysmal. The waitress, Alice, clearly hates her job and should be in no service industry ever. The bartender/supervisor - non-existent but full of excuses. The host on his phone at the host stand most of the time. Ordered food - came back with "we are out of chicken wings. Probably something that could have been communicated to front of house easily. Food - chicken strips and fries - great. Salmon salad - pretty good! Prime rib sandwich - meh. A truly disappointing lunch service. There are so many other places to go downtown. Skip Miller Time. read more

Food was terrible. The salad pictured was supposed to be fried chicken in Buffalo sauce but arrived as some sort of mushy, gloop that tasted more like tikka masala. The lettuce was wilted and on its way out. Tasted like a discounted pre made bag from a low budget grocery store. Considering it's one of their top dishes I assumed it was a safe bet, but was incredibly disappointed. My husband ordered the fish and chips and one of the pieces of fish was undercooked. Service was equally appalling. Our server, Jen, seemed to be preoccupied and got our order wrong. She never returned to check in so we could correct the error. Eventually we had to go request our check from another employee. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the food is garbage and the service is as unfortunate as the food they serve. After a long day of travel this was not the meal we were looking forward to. read more

Waited forever for drinks and even longer for cold food. Waitress was nice but no apology offered.

Dropped by again last Tuesday evening and had a great dinner with two business associates. Prime Rib Sandwich, Grilled Cheese with Soup, Cheeseburger and Fries ... as well as some appetizers (cheese curds and a dip). Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was great, the restaurant was clean and prices were good. Drinks were also poured appropriately. I always make it a point to dine at this restaurant when in Lincoln, NE. One of the additional reasons I chose to stay at the Marriott CornHusker Hotel. read more

Food was good , drinks pricey.Busy but service was good. Liked that it was connected to the hotel

My husband and I stopped in for a drink while staying at the hotel the restaurant is located in. The bar is quiet and dimly lit which was great for our "mini date". The hostess and our server were friendly and made us feel welcome. We each got one drink, both were extremely strong. We both don't need much to get drunk so we could have shared one! We got the grilled cheese and couldn't decide on fries or soup as the side. Our waitress suggested we could do both for a slight up-charge. The sandwich was good, grilled cheese so hard to mess up. The soup was not very good in our opinion and it turns out we were brought a meal sized soup on the side, not the side of soup. The fries were a small portion and tasted like they had been sitting out, not super fresh. We were disappointed at the quality of food and drink for the amount we paid. It was okay for a night out and the convenience factor, but I'm not sure if we would come back. read more

We have stayed at the Cornhusker Marriott a couple of times recently and have visited the Pub & Grill on both occasions. The food is very good (we had burgers this time) and the beer selection is great. We received exceptional service from our server/bartender, Shelly. She elevated the experience for us with her attention to our needs and her friendly personality. We will choose the Cornhusker and the Miller Time Pub & Grill again because of our experience. read more

Ambience great. Food selection adequate. This a great place for happy hour. $2 off beer on tap, $1 off house wine and wells. Service was below expected. We came on a snowy evening and didn't want to brace the cold that night since we already managed to drive down a snow packed I-80. The pub seemed to have a large amount of seating to accommodate us for dinner and it was connected to the Marriot hotel. We weren't hungry right away so ordered drinks and fried cheese curds. Cheese curds were good, not the best ever but still worth getting. They were a good appetizer for three people. Again service was not so great. It was about 20 minutes from when we were all in consensus that we were ready to order and our waitress had not come by. Our waters were low and someone's drink was ready to be replenished. We got the managers attention and then our waitress came. Grilled cheese and tomato soup for one and sweet potato gnocchi special for two of us. About 30-40 minutes later our food showed up. Our waitress came holding these two plates of fried looking dough with some rosemary on top. That was gnocchi. So many words to describe this: sweet potato funnel cake, a disgrace to Italians, where was the oil and parmesan cheese and why did the menu not say "fried". It wasn't terrible but not what we were expecting. When someone has the word sweet potato I think healthy and especially when it's a pasta I don't expect fried. I wouldn't order ravioli and expecting it to be fried and unless I said so. I also had one random mushroom on my plate. Apparently the grilled cheese and tomato soup was good. During the whole experience our waitress was quite short with us. When we got the check (with no discount or formal apology) she warmed up but I think she remembered we tip. Which we did 20% on subtotal. Also found out some hotel events were canceled that night so the pub was more crowded than expected. I'll give them some slack for this, and maybe up my review when I receive better service and food the next time. Keep in mind there are mostly only sandwiches and burgers. Entrees are limited to about two and one was out that night when we went. Oh after we received the food she did ask how it was. We said not what we expected and the menu should say fried. She asked if there was anything else she could bring. We didn't have much of a heart to ask for something else. Especially after the wait. read more

I walked in knowing service would be very slow due to how busy it was, but I still left disappointed. To be fair, it was the day before the 2017 Eclipse and the place was hopping, but our service was so slow that I watched plenty of other people seated, served, and charged before our food even came. Let me put it this way, I had my credit card in my hand waiting for my food to arrive at the table so that I could pay and leave without adding another hour to my meal. And when the food did not arrive as ordered and cold, I did not send it back, but decided to eat it as it was. Our waitress did her best to check in with us, and was very apologetic the entire time, but it was perplexing why our two orders took so long or why the kitchen was not prepared to be this busy when the hotel was booked to capacity for the event. When we were getting ready to leave the manager came by to ask us if he could comp us some dessert, which was a nice gesture and when I explained that I couldn't because of dietary restrictions, he offered to comp us some of our food, but I had already paid. The sentiment was appreciated, it was just a little too late to rectify our experience. That said, the bar was beautiful and I loved the decor. The staff was very nice but our service was slow and our food was just okay. I think this place would be lovely to have a beer at the bar on a slower night, and maybe a quick bite, but that just wasn't my experience. If I visit again I may give this place another try, but not if I saw most of the tables were already filled as it does not seem the kitchen staff can accommodate a busy night. read more

This is a beer bar and it is best to stick to beer. We unfortunately ordered Old Fashioned - listed as a signature cocktail and they may have been the worst old fashioneds we have ever had. Very watered down, which is interesting since water is not an ingredient in this drink! The apps were solid - especially the brussel sprouts, cheese curds, and pot stickers. The desserts however were a big miss, cleary prepackaged and still half frozen. read more

I know bar food is bar food, but this was not very good at all. I ordered fish and chips. 3 good size pieces of battered cod, french fries, and what I think was coleslaw. Fish was soggy and luke warm. Fries were limp and cold. Still can't figure out what the slaw was supposed to be. On the bright side, the restaurant was full and I had to sit at the bar. Service was good and the folks that teamed up to get orders out worked well as a team. read more

Blah. Got the Miller time fries to go. As I expected, it was a greasy gut bomb but that is what i was looking for. However, the toppings were just there. For a signature dish, it really didn't have flare or distinctive flavor. With a bit of reworking, might be worth being a namesake. read more

Food is pretty mediocre, the ranch is really good though. They are trash though for saying family or friends of employees are not welcome.

We had a dreadful Ruben sandwich and fries and some other very sub par nachos. Even the Irish coffee was meh. Was hoping for a nice experience since it's downtown and close to where we live. The service was good, the best part about it a actually. For a restaurant in a hotel that once hosted some of Lincoln's better food establishments, the food was a massive downgrade. It's just another example of how mediocrity makes money. It was also uncomfortably "elementary school cafeteria" bright for a late night dining experience. It felt weird. read more

Very nice place. Good service. Inside the Marriott hotel. Nice selection of food items

Good selection of beers.. Great beers to down some free crisps. Nice service at the bar.

Back again... the staff continues to be extremely on their toes. I went for lunch and wasn't in mood for Mountain Dew and I don't drink Pepsi... waitress suggested a root beer on tap with a slight vanilla taste...was very good..only thing to make it better might have been a frosty mug like I've had at other places. Good serving sizes. Salad still good but not as crisp as last time. It was cold though and I like that. This time went with a BLT Burger. Was cooked perfect as was the bacon. The peppered bacon is not too peppery. More crowded this time than before but no wait time and promt service. I'll be back to try other menu items. read more

Probably more like a 2.5 3 for service 2 for food quality Main entrees seemed like they were frozen, quickly reheated and served. Their honey mustard is beyond terrible. More like a spicy dijon. 5 stars for their cookie sundae dessert, served in a cast iron skillet. Perhaps the best I've had. The cookie was fresh, and the ice cream a perfect mix for this dessert. It's a really cool dining room too, they probably pumped a ton of money into this place. read more

The service was poor and had to ask several times for the check. The food took forever to be delivered to our table and when it arrived we had to wait for silverware. When we didn't receive the check waited at the front register to be told we would be waited on in a minute. The server the. proceeded to wait on other customers. After standing at the front counter for about 10 minutes walked to the front lobby to ask if he could assist. He left the desk and returned without having a conversation with anyone in our party. Finally....I gave up wrote my room number down and the meal that I had and left it on the register. I won't bother to try that place again even though staying in the hotel for the next three days. read more

Miller Time Pub and Grill is a respectable bar and grill. The food is very good. The downside, the presence of the Miller Brewing brand, yuck! I wish they carried non-Miller beers on tap instead of in bottles. Miller is the very worst of the American macro-brews. So, if I am going to eat and drink there I will need some fresh QUALITY beers on tap, the kind that don't use adjuncts like rice and corn. It's a good place to eat in spite of the "Millerness" of it all. read more

Really cool bar with tons of High Life relics. The food is great and consisting mostly of burgers, salads, and other eats. Leave room for desert. I had the apple pie cheesecake and it was delicious. The beer selection is broad with lots of local beers, domestics, and imports. They have a long happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00. I had a Thunderbird Cornstalker Dark Wheat.
