I went here the Saturday after Thanksgiving around 9:30pm. It was kind of dead (maybe they get a later crowd), but there was a great energy in the bar. The door guy was super friendly as well as the bartenders. The drink prices are reasonable , the restrooms are clean, and the people that were there were friendly (like walk in and you feel like you could learn these people's life stories over the course of the night kind of friendly). There is a single pool table, but it was occupied when we were there. I love this place. I'm not sure why other than the fact that it's a kind of cozy, friendly hole-in-the-wall.

The food was good, the cocktails were well made, and we left looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, our second visit didn't live up to that first impression. The food was still decent, but the cocktails were disappointing and lacked the quality we experienced before. The dining room was also quite noisy, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. One issue that was consistent on both visits was the service. While the staff was friendly, our wait service wasn't very attentive either time, and we often found ourselves waiting longer than expected for drinks and other needs, including getting our bill. I chased down the waitstaff on each visit just to pay. Based on our two experiences, Liquid Assets has shown it can be very good, but the inconsistency makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. We probably won't be in a hurry to return, though we hope they can provide a more consistent experience in the future.
