I joined my family for an early dinner tonight celebrating a friend's birthday. We had a group of nine this evening. We went early as to not need to wait long to get a table. My relative called earlier in the day and asked about getting a table, they took our name and how many and said we will see you then, it still may be a short wait but not bad. We all arrived and our table was ready almost no wait. Our waitress came by with her trainee and started getting drink requests. Then moved on to a starter and main course. She was perfect, did not miss a thing. Never an empty glass Ours food came out. I had the small prime rib rare mashed potatoes and corn. It was outstanding. Hot, fresh. The parking situation like all Texas road house outlets on a weekend is bad. Hubby chose to come on like graduation weekend with Mothers' Day. That's on us! We were lucky as we did get a good spot along the road to the restaurant. Tip: they allow parking along the roads alongside the restaurant. That said. The waitlist feature is great! We got in with maybe less than 10 minutes of waitng. Our servers were hustling around making sure everybody was happy Free flow of bread- nice and warm and soft. With cinnamon butter Peanuts in a little metal bucket - salted. We ordered dragonfruit sparkler. - delicious and refreshing (sweet) And i ordered salmon with vegetables and a sweet potato plain Salmon was just done right. Not overly dry- just cooked till done. The vegetables were broccoli and carrots. These were delicious. Usually in chain reataurants, these would already be much. Mine pretty much tested fresh- just out of water with the right texture- like home made! Despite being busy, our server cane by seveal times to check on us. At some point, a gentleman popped by to say how pleased that we were there and thanked us - possibly a manager We soaked up the music and the upbeat vibes. It was a good night! Overly seasoned shrimp and salmon. Overcooked salmon. Lukewarm vegetables. Reminded me of a greasy diner. Not worth the $$.

I don't think I've ever had a disappointing Texas road house experience. But what made this dinner extra special was our amazing server, Sam. Not only did he check on us several times, he always had a smile on his face and served us with a positive attitude. I'm so glad we had him as our server! The ambiance is loud per usual, but we always expect that. The food was amazing as well. My 12 oz rib eye was perfectly cooked just how I like it, medium rare. I ordered mashed potatoes and corn for my side. I also love their blooming onion with the sauce. Shout out to Texas Road house for always delivering. I will be back for my next steak fix. read more

As a college student, I happen to go to Texas Roadhouse with my friend a lot just to get roles. Every-time we go they are absolutely amazing and super nice! The roles are always hot and fresh. There's even been times where they gave us the roles on the house. The service is exceptional. 10/10! read more

We had such an amazing experience celebrating my daughter's birthday at Texas Roadhouse! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, lively, and perfect for a special night out. The food was absolutely outstanding--everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I got the Salmon, my wife got Beef Tips, both were very delicious. The waitress was very attentive and came by often, but never returned with the items we requested. Took two trips to get the drinks refills we asked for. One of my wife;s sides was wrong. We asked the waitress three times before she remembered to bring back the correct side. SAY IT AIN'T SO, DUKE. SAY IT AIN'T SO. I have long loved this place from when I lived in Texas. But this last time it just wasn't...Texas Roadhouse. The salads were served with the meal. I hate that. The meal immediately feels rushed and more of a process than a pleasurable experience. It's a cardinal sin in any restaurant. The magic. Ahhhhhh, the magic. Heaven is the rolls' sweet fragrance of yeasty comfort with the accompanying cinnamon butter. Someone changed the recipes. We all, everyone at our table, noticed. You could almost breath those rolls before, but now they are only shadows of what they used to be. And none of us could taste the butter like it was. It was as though they "watered" the butter down with buttermilk with only a scant amount of cinnamon. The magic of eating at Texas Roadhouse is gone. We went there for the early bird pricing, ordered our drinks, and had them on our table before 5pm. The waitress didn't come back for the rest of our order until after 5pm. When we got our bill, they billed us at regular price. We brought it to our server's attention, and pointed out that our drinks were ordered and on our table before 5pm, but she said she couldn't do anything about it. So we told her that we wouldn't be coming back. That's now how you treat your customers. read more

Texas Roadhouse exists to be what it is. I don't know how else to say it. Your experience will be Texas Roadhouse. If that's what you want you will get exactly what you expect. Texas Roadhouse is in the category in my mind of what I call the Applebees. Chilis is southwest Applebees, Olive Garden is Italian Applebees, and Texas Roadhouse is steak house Applebees. That's how I categorize this type of restaurant. Cookie cutter chains or food you feel ok with at the end of the experience. They cook steak well, they hit their temperatures. The staff was on their job well. But they substitute seasoning for the eyes (decore and ambiance) for seasoning on the meat. Like if you are actually a high end steak house with premium meat and a dry aging room you can get away with Maldon salt and ground pepper. And even those places usually use tricks to elevate their seasonings. But here they are cooking fine meat and doing it well but leaving it bare in the flavor department. I don't really have any complaints, the food is fine if expensive and the staff was great. I did find a gem on this visit though. The chili was great! It was flavorful and a wonderful surprise. The best thing we had there by far. I wish they had bigger servings because if we go back that is all I'm gonna get. Try the chili. read more

Our dinner last night was the worst. 3 out of 4 entrees were wrong. Terrible service. So disappointed. And a huge embarrassment to our first time guests. But hey, the manager took off $10 for the inconvenience. ‍. 2 meals didn't arrive until well after the other two guests were finished eating. I have never been so disappointed before. I ordered a 6oz received a 16oz that was charged no refills on bread or water. Never came with the check. Asked another to get boxes. Food was good. I had a steak girlfriend had a burger. She loves their tater skins which is why we went. Our waitress was friendly service prompt. It's Texas Roadhouse it's loud crowded and a long wait. We got on the waiting list had a 90 minute wait. Made us wait maybe 10 minutes after we arrived after 90 minute wait. Not terrible. Food value was fine. There were two birthdays right next to our table so we had to sit through two birthday songs and them dragging the saddle out. I'm not a fan of the rowdiness of the restaurant myself but I expected it If you want to eat there get on the waiting list from home on the weekends. read more

Great food and service! Came here for the first time over the weekend with some of my family and I'm pleased to say that we had a good time! The last time I'd been to a Texas Roadhouse I was in Oklahoma years ago. I've always loved their fresh baked rolls and cinnamon apple butter. Thankfully they're still just as delicious as I remember them being. I ordered a steak which came with two sides. I got the house salad which was loaded in dressing but good and the steak fries which were okay. One of my uncle's ended up with an underdone burger which they corrected very quickly without missing a beat. All of us left happy and would go back again! :) read more

The foods good, but it's inconsistent. I've had ribeyes that I loved and some I couldn't eat. I've had food cooked perfect and stuff I've sent back. I like that you can take the kids and it's a loud atmosphere, but I hate the seating. No matter where you are you feel like they crammed you into the worst spot. My Oh My this restaurant is exactly what the name insinuates. By that I mean everything is bigger in Texas stands oh so true to the portions. I am a big fan of the chicken fried chicken and every time I end up taking half of my meal home for later. The service is on point, and I could go on and on when it comes to their steaks. No matter what cut you order they are amazing. Then when you add in the ribs things just got real!! Please don't even get me started on the limitless rolls with cinnamon butter. If you do not have to roll yourself out of there when you are done you must have a bigger stomach than most. This rating is aimed at TR's online/to go service, not the actual restaurant, where I have always gotten a good meal and good service. My wife insists on avoiding the crowds and frequently orders food to go from here. The food usually tastes fine once we get it, but it doesn't matter what time of year, what time of day, what the order, how far ahead the order is placed, etc., I usually end up waiting at least a half an hour beyond the pick up time we are told when I go to pick up the food. Once I waited over 90 minutes to get the order we had placed. The people at the window aren't real sympathetic, and I usually get a "we're really busy" when I question why food that was supposed to be picked up at 5 pm isn't ready until 6:30. If it takes longer to prepare the food, fine, but then give me a later time to pick it up. You're better off standing in line and eating inside the restaurant. read more

Summary: This location was OK. Everything you are expecting from a chain steakhouse. BEWARE OF PEANUT ALLERGIES!! Peanuts are everywhere in this establishment. I strongly recommend their potato skins appetizer, it was clearly made to order and from scratch and delicious. I want to lead off that nothing was wrong this place. Some things weren't the way I would have liked them, but it's my opinion. The BBQ brisket looked like pulled pork rather than sliced which is the presentation I'm used to. It was slightly smokey and the BBQ sauce it came from was alright. I'm not sure if it was sweet baby ray's, but it tasted close enough. The "side" salad that comes with most entrees is so huge it should be a meal unto itself. Combine that with a fantastic potato skin appetizer and a margarita and I barely touched the entree. Truth to be told, after looking at my friends' steaks they ordered, I don't think I was going to get excited about any of their entrees. But I would definitely recommend the margarita and potato skins for a happy hour. read more

My fathers chicken fried steak was literally shoe leather. My 16 ounce steak was 8 ounces of fat mixed with 8 ounces of meat and burnt to a crisp. Since this is the only Texas Roadhouse in Lincoln, and my folks live 12 miles from there i wasnt about to drive back. $75.00 for three meals, thanks for ruining my Saturday treat with my folks. Our drinks came 10 minutes after he waited us. My strawberry lemonade was water. I get strawberry lemonade EVERYTIME I GO! Our food took over an hour to come. It wasn't even that busy.
