First time diners. Went for a mid afternoon dinner 3:15 and the place was already packed. Good friendly service. Full menu, just a rural steakhouse out in the middle of nowhere. First, it is worth a trip. Wet aged angus beef. Specials every day except Sunday (closed). Interior is nothing special, this is all about the food. Good selection of appetizers. We went with cheese curds and corn nuggets each with it's own house made sauce. Crispy and delicious from both. Got the filet with fried shrimp as well as steak bites with brussel sprouts and a house salad. Filet was extremely tender and well seasoned. Almost could cut with a fork. Crispy shrimp were large with a tasty batter on the outside. Very good. Brussel sprouts were good as well as the house salad with house made ranch. The steak bites were just a bit tough and had no seasoning whatsoever. Meal also comes with homemade yeast rolls (just a little heavy) Overall a really good meal. This restaurant also hosts the annual testicle festival for those brave of heart. These are also available as part of the daily menu (don't be scared).

We came here on a Monday night and it was PACKED which immediately told me the wait would be worth it. We had 6 in our party and they were able to seat us in 20 minutes. There was a nice patio to wait outside and you can also grab drinks from the bar while you wait. The bar was a bit crowded so that took some patience. Once seated, our waitress was sweet and very attentive. The steaks were excellent and perfectly prepared. We had fried cheese curds and mushrooms which were good. The dipping sauce was also excellent. This was totally worth the drive from Omaha.

For my nephew's 11th birthday, we returned to Round The Bend, because nothing says celebration quite like steak, prime rib, and deep-fried goodness. We arrived around 5:15 PM, got on the waitlist, and hung out at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. Saturday night, party of seven--of course, there was a wait. But the hardest part? The place smells unreal. Waiting was torture with that scent of sizzling steaks in the air. Once seated, our server was right on it, taking drink orders immediately. I still had my margarita from the bar (if you know, you know--these are on tap and dangerously strong). I stick to a two-marg max, because three is a mistake I won't make twice. But let's talk about my real achievement of the night: full beverage goblin mode. Margarita Coke Zero WITH lemon Water And bless our server; she kept them all coming. You don't come to the home of the Testicle Festival without getting a Full Sack. We also grabbed Corn "Husker" Nuggets and tried the new traditional wings with Billy Bucks Rub. I wanted to take a picture... but this table was a pack of wild animals. Gone in seconds. Full Sack - Fried to perfection, crispy, and dunked in BBQ sauce. Pro tip: upgrade your nuts with Jalapeño Ranch. Corn Nuggets - Served with a spicy mayo sauce that always hits. Traditional Wings with Billy Buck's Dry Rub - Absolute home run. Even the wing snobs at our table agreed: these are always a must-order. We devoured everything so fast we had to order another Full Sack before the main course. No regrets. For the mains, it was all steaks and prime rib. I went with the 8 oz filet--cooked to perfection, cut like butter, and paired with sweet potato fries and mushrooms--Chef's freaking kiss. My house salad with jalapeño ranch was fresh and crisp, and the dinner rolls? Hot from the oven. Then came the prime ribs... Dad went for a smaller cut. Husband went for the RTB Cut--a literal 32-oz (TWO POUND) prime rib. An absolute behemoth. Everything came out fast--this kitchen runs like a well-oiled, steak-searing machine. Now, my dad is a toddler in a grown man's body, but we love him anyway. After finishing his meal, he decided to drop the remaining fat from his prime rib into his au jus cup and dangle it off his fork. Then he looked me dead in the eye and said, "I'll give you $100 if you eat this." No, sir. Absolutely not. Our server walked up mid-scene, and my dad--never one to waste an opportunity--offered her the $100 if she ate it. Without missing a beat, she goes, "I AM hungry, but we're not allowed to eat on the floor. My boss would get mad." And you know what? He gave her the $100 anyway. Final Verdict: Worth Every Penny The bill for seven people, four appetizers, drinks, and way too much beef came to $424--which is a steal for this much food and this level of quality. I tipped another $90, bringing the total to $515, and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Would I come back? 1000%. Would I get another Full Sack? No question. Will I ever eat prime rib fat for money? It's still a hard no.

This place is always packed, but we luckily didn't wait too long. There are tons of people working and service is very efficient. I tried the oatmeal cookie martini, and it tasted good but was a heavy drink. I couldn't finish it. My husband and I split the largest steak. It's a huge portion and comes with four sides. All of our sides were fantastic. I had a side salad and delicious mac and cheese. However, our steak was oddly chewy. The flavor was amazing, but it felt like no amount of chewing was enough. We both noticed this. However, I'd definitely return and order something other than the steak!

Overall a really good spot to stop and have some lunch! Our waitress was very nice and made our dining experience very enjoyable. She guided us through the menu-making helpful recommendations. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and inviting and went well with the experience. The food was delicious. Every single meal was well cooked and I was still able to find options as a vegetarian. My family enjoyed the steaks while I ate the delicious corn nuggets. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Took a lil road trip to Ashland tonight and made sure we ended up at RTB for some eats and drinks. First up, that Holiday drinky-drink, the Oatmeal Cookie! My go-to holiday drinks usually flow in the sweet and creamy vein and this one didn't disappoint! Zero oatmeal flavor, but that Baileys hits the spot. T grabbed their aged, 16oz Ribeye, with choice of two sides; baked potato and coleslaw. Surprisingly he had the ribeye cooked to medium-well vs his usual medium, so that was... neat. His did sorta wish his baked potato was warm, because he definitely does dig his toes. Perhaps wrapping it in tinfoil? I snagged their Blackened Salmon, also with two sides; house salad and mixed veggies. Also added 3 coconut shrimp just to try. Cooked to perfection on the salmon, and zero doo in the shrimp! It matters folks! They weren't busy at all, and although it's a HUGE open space, I bet this would be an excellent place for a huge family gathering with a decent budget. If you like lil drives out of the Metro, consider stopping by one night!

We liked their sayings on the wall. Plenty of space for busier times of the day.

After visiting Strategic Air Command, we wanted a nice late lunch. Lo and behold, Round the Bend Steakhouse, which was in my collection of places to try, was nearby. Double bonus! Since we arrived mid-afternoon on a rainy Monday, there were only a few people in the restaurant. As a result, service was friendly as well quick and efficient. We liked all the menu choices; but decided to order the daily special which was a 1/2 lb. Cheeseburger with Fries. We also got the appetizer RTB Onion Rings. Another double bonus! All of the food was excellently prepared and delicious!

Firehouse burger. Absolutely delicious

Worth the drive no matter where you're located. Such an amazing spot that you need to try. Every thing on the menu is delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more amazing items.

The Filet is amazing! It's a bit far from Omaha, but worth the drive! (I wasn't a fan of the Rocky Mountain Oysters though.)

We went for brunch after hearing great things about this place. Our waitress was wonderful but…read moreunfortunately they were the best part of our experience. As we unrolled the silverware we had to ask for a replacement because dried food was on the knife. Not a great start but it happens. I ordered the stuffed French toast. As I was eating the first portion I see a disturbing green spot within the body of the bread. It was obviously mold. The waitress noticed I had pushed my plate aside and when I pointed out why she apologized and brought my plate back to the kitchen. That's when things got even worse. I could hear the chef argue that it was green from the strawberry stems (none of the strawberries had leaves) and that I was wrong. So not only did they serve a moldy dish, the chef is unavailable to recognize obviously moldy bread and insists on continuing to serve it. I am usually reluctant to post 1 star reviews, but this is a health and safety issue.

Honestly, the reviews are exactly like you would expect. We ordered the charcuterie board to start,…read moreand it was probably the most "meh" one I've ever had. Interesting meat choices and there was no explanation of what was on the board. One of the meats look like a very dark-colored prosciutto (we also had regular prosciutto as well) and the one of the cheddar cheese cubes was especially darker and looked rock hard. My entrée was a filet with broccolini and truffle fries. Filet was a 7/10 (cooked fine but had a slight weird gamey aftertaste), broccoli was cooked fine but didn't taste seasoned, and fries were probably the best of the three. Service was good, would highly recommend buttoning down all the recipes and steak sourcing (and cooking method). For what this place cost, I would highly recommend going to Texas roadhouse.

Pretty difficult to get a reservation on the weekend unless you think ahead but they also have a bar with open seating if you want to go that route which is what I did. The restaurant itself has an outdoor patio with impeccable views of the lake. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. This time I got wagyu bolognese, lobster bisque, honey cornbread, and wagyu sliders. The wagyu sliders were so moist and cooked to perfection. They're paired well with an aioli that's gives it a little flair. The highlight of the show was the Wagyu Bolognese. I often struggle with pasta being too heavy of a dish but this one was perfect. The pasta was very tender and was clearly homemade which was bonus points for me. Bar service was great and I've never had any complaints. Can't wait to be back for more here soon!

Wow love everything about this place. Location- gorgeous. Ambience- welcoming and beautiful…read more Service- friendly and actually smiling! Food- BEYOND delicious. I had the braised short rib with a jalapeno potato cake + bloomsdale creamy spinach + horseradish crumble. Tender like butter and a rich flavor. ( the portion so big I brought about half home!) Don't let the jalapeño in the potato cake scare you off there is just a hint of it and it is so good. My husband had the plum creek chicken (airline chicken breast + pomme purée + grilled broccolini + mushroom madeira sauce). He said it was the best chicken meal he has ever had. We did not get the bread basket and I feel like I missed out. I hear it is to die for. Dessert? Yes! Delicious! I had the perfect affogato which they kindly made with decaf since it was late. My husband had what I think was the olive oil butter cake and loved it. If you haven't been here or need a special night out this is the place to go!

Let me start of by pointing out the obvious, this restaurant gets good reviews…read more I am not sure if it is from all the friendly Woodcliff locals who dine here nightly, the ambiance of the rustic brick and lumber building , the friendly staff, or the great food, but the reviews don't line. This is a MUST TRY kinda place if you find yourself anywhere close to Woodcliff Lake. Being that it was our first visiting here, our server Ainsley was very patient with us and gave us time to look over the menu. We both opted for the house salad to start. Very good!! Being that it was Thursday and every Thursday is burger night, we both ordered the house special the " I dip, you dip, we French dip". It's an all beef burger topped with roast beef , grilled onions and Swiss cheese. Served with a your choice of sides and a bowl of as Au Jus . I'm going to go out on a limb here and honestly say that I cannot remember a time that I had a better burger than this. It wasn't all the French dip toppings that made it so memorable, it was the beef patty that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. This lends us to believe that all their burgers are going to be amazing. We will be going back.

I'm always down for a steakhouse, and Farmer Brown's has all the old school, classic vibes that I & everyone love. We had a big party, so there was just a slight wait, but we were able to grab tables in the bar & get drinks until our table was ready. Zach got a Pint 9 beer, and I got a blueberry mule. Their cocktail list was extensive which I always LOVE. Great service in the bar area carried over to our actual dining experience. Quick, kind, & friendly. We got some appetizers to start: stuffed jumbo tots (my fav), onion rings, & steak egg rolls. Zach got the club steak dinner, a 10oz sirloin, with green beans & garlic mashed potatoes (a FAV side). His meal was less than $25 (crazy). I got the shaved prime sandwich with fries. Portion size was insane. Flavor of the meat, cheese, & caramelized onions was insane. It was amazing.
