Tried a new place for Asian this evening. We hadn't had Mongolian grill in quite awhile. We where greeted at the door and seated immediately. Our waiter offered showed us the appetizer menu and asked for our drink order. We made our way to the grill. The selection was impressive and it all looked fresh. The sauce selection was impressive and we both choose some of the spicier flavors and we loved them. Thank you for a nice dinner

Multiple people running around without masks!!! They have it posted on the door, turn people away if they don't comply!

They clearly don't give a crap about following the health mandate of wearing masks!! Several patrons in the establishment not wearing mask!

My first visit to this Huhot in Lincoln. We originally went to Village Inn for dinner but left because we were standing in front for over 5 minutes and was ignored by the server. Huhot wasn't crowded and they had more staff working than Village Inn. Service was pretty quick, ordered the usual salad, rice, and egg rolls. The line was minimal with the selection bar. I usually get in line for the cooking portion within a minute since I don't read recipes with the sauces and oils placed on top of your toppings. By the time I arrived back, the salad wasn't looking very well prepared. The manager came by and instantly corrected this. Michele, the server seemed nice but made several mistakes along the way, including the inability to show our reward points and redeem the egg rolls from points accumulated. This was the main reason for the lowered Yelp ranking.

Yum Yum so good, thanks HuHot!!!!!!

Great service, my daughter and I went here on a date. We both really like HuHot Grill. It was nice having the place to ourselves, but we hope they get more business, would hate to see this place close. Food was great as well as the service!

Trying to find fun tasty ways to increase my consumption of veggies !! Eating at huhot is a good way to do so. They had a fresh large selection and even have tofu for those seeking a meatless lunch or dinner. They had a variety of meats including fish as well . So many new sauces too! I prefer the coconut and curry . Very Good service at this location and it's also very clean and nice inside. Will return for sure!

Very clean, fresh selections of "create your own plate" The manager was there the day we went, the grill chef was friendly and quick to try out whatever picky requests we had made, the grill chef asked his manager a question regarding out request to make sure the food would come out right (big kudos that he cared to ask) the manager then took the challenge and made us some fried tofu himself. It was perfect. If certain things you mix don't come out right, remember you put the ingredients in yourself lol. I would say 4 stars considering the booths don't have much leg room but the manager and staff made it and easy 5. **Military Discount on request with ID**

I love Asian food, and HuHot Mongolian Grill delivers a good mix of ingredients for this make your own Mongolian (combination stir fry) dinner. Meat choices include beef, chicken, crab, shrimp, and pork. They also have Tofu for the vegetarians out there. They also have 15 different kinds of sauce to mix and match. I recommend using about 4-5 ladles of sauce and 1 of oil, like garlic, sesame, or chili oil. This method usually results in a tasty dinner. Another tip, you can get HuHot to-go. Simply walk in, tell the front person or bartender you would like to order to-go, they can get you a to-go box, and you can use 2-3 bowls to fill with meat/veggies/noodles/sauce and have them combine them all. They will cook it and fill your to-go box and you can pay, and take it home. I can usually eat 2 meals off this large portion size so its a good value.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

The server took initial drink orders for two of my friends and directed them to the QR code to order appetizers/food--it was unclear. When I arrived a few minutes later it took a bit for anyone else to come by, I ordered a drink and had to ask for it multiple times. We basically learned by vibes we will be ordering our food online ourselves...which is fine but that needs to be clear upfront. I had to ask for side plates more than once, we received paper baskets, which isn't really ideal for soy sauce dipping. Midway through the meal we are told water is self-service too. I went up to order a second round of drinks for the table myself, and later my friend went up to get our drink tabs to close out and also to-go boxes as even tho you don't order the drinks online, apparently no one else was coming to our table to close these out so no idea how long we would have sat there waiting. I always consider myself a good tipper, but don't expect much when we are doing a majority of the work ourselves and don't feel like we've received any type of "service." I don't know if they are transitioning to this or struggling with staffing and cutting down, but last time I was here it was great service, and they had lunch sushi specials with soup/salad (September 2025). The menu appears to have changed along with service quality. All of that being said, the sushi is decent quality, we really liked the Oh my god roll that flames up at the table, that was our favorite. We also got the kiss of fire, it wasn't as spicy as it sounded, crystal beach, and monster lobster roll, They were all just okay, but I don't know if it's worth the time of self-service ambiance when you want the full dine-in sushi experience, this doesn't match the current vibe inside so maybe a better place just to get take out. Hoping this was just a one-off experience but time will tell. Did enjoy the beef gyoza and pineapple sake.

That alone is worth the the price of admission! Do you know how much it would cost me to pay for all the potstickers I ate there if I ordered them from a regular Chinese restaurant??? It would cost a fortune. And I love potstickers! Who doesn't? I usually don't like Japanese food mixed in with Chinese food -- as if they are somehow the same thing. But the sushi at Asian Buffet is so good I have to make an exception: They have really good sushi. Not just the filler junk you usually see, but multiple kinds of crab, and all the other good stuff! Asian Buffet doesn't just have the bland Chinese food that other buffets usually fill-out their selection with. They have Crab and Shrimp and Singapore rice noodles (mǐfěn), and -- one of my favorites -- SESAME BALLS. They even have tapioca pudding and pizza for the kids! Asian Buffet has been open for 8 years, but the enthusiasm of the staff seems like they just opened yesterday, and are vying to provide you with today's exemplary culinary experience. And they do! They not only provide you with all you can eat of some of the best Chinese dishes ever made, but on top of that, they even provide bottomless Pepsi which -- to someone like me who is addicted to caffeine with bubbles -- is AMAZING! I love this place! I'm so glad I discovered it!
