Our food took about 45 minutes to come out, which is probably the longest I've ever waited at a Chinese restaurant. They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

You can tell by the appearance that it is made from scratch - ignoring the presentation it is crispy and has filling that was not mushy. ( like homemade and reminded me of home) My pork meifun was delicious with wok hei and not oily it was delicious. The hot and sour soup was not something I liked. It tasted heavily of soy and not sour enough- hubby enjoyed that though. Kung pao chicken was not as expected. - not traditional type. Tasted like just fried battered chicken bits thrown into a spicy sauce and because hubby requested for extra spice - dried chilli flakes in oil was added on top. This dish missed its mark. Overall, i would come back for the meifun and the egg rolls. But possibly not the soup and definitely not the kungpao chicken.

We really wanted our first experience with this place to dine-in but I knew trying to take our 2 1/2 year old in there wouldn't be enjoyable for anyone so take-out it was. First of all, the prices of the meals are awesome. We ordered General Tso's Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken as well as an order of Crab Rangoon and let me tell you - you definitely get your money's worth with this food! Seriously, there was enough food for at least 6 people. Needless to say, we had left overs the next day! In addition to the amazing value, the food itself was delicious. I'm pretty sure the sweet and sour sauce was homemade (as it wasn't that bright red stuff you normally see at other Chinese places). The crab rangoon, while yummy, could have had a bit more garlic.
