Sesame Chicken /8 Piece Crab Rangoon/yum!
    Brett T.

I really enjoyed trying this place the other night. My date and I were very hungry after work and wanted chinese food. We thought about doing takeout but we're glad to be able to sit down and enjoy it. Service was great and very friendly. I know that prices are higher on everything but it seemed a bit too high... I guess I have other favorite places that I feel are worth more possibly. The crab Rangoon was my favorite part though. They were so delicious! :)

Here's the thing - it's fine. Normal Americanized Chinese food. Quantity over quality. Serving size over flavor. We had the general Tso chicken, Mongolian beef and egg drop soup... it was all very greasy and bland. The problem with "fine" in a place like Lincoln is there are massively better options at or below this price! Even just within the realm of Chinese takeout... Do a little looking at reviews and you can do better.

First of let me just say, I wasn't too sure about this place in the beginning due to how quiet and not busy the restaurant was. I am from Malaysia, and Chinese restaurants tend to be noisy and banging. So, with that being said, I am half Chinese and this place took me back home with the food. The noodles was perfectly soft and tasted truly amazing with every bite. The fried rice was just amazingly delicious with every spoonful and just had the right amount of salt and pepper to it. There are a lot of Americanized Chinese Restaurants out there however this one is a hidden gem in the making with more of a Taiwanese authenticity. Definitely will come back in the future.

We drove one hour to eat at Mr. Hui! Yummy authentic Taiwanese & SE Chinese food in Lincoln, NE. Very friendly and courteous servers! Highly recommend trying this restaurant if you want to have some delicious Chinese cuisine!

Check your bill! The food here was good but not their business practice. I ordered the combination fried rice and the menu had the price of $7.95. When I got the bill, the fried rice was $8.95. When I questioned the person working there, she just said "Oh, it is a typo [on the menu]." What a convenient typo for the business. No apology, no further explanation. They also charge an extra $1 for the fried rice upgrade for another dish and the waitress didn't mention the surcharge during the order. That's not as a big deal to me, since it can be expected that they would charge more for fried rice than white rice (but not always the case) but it's courteous to mention the extra charge. I just think it's deceitful to have a menu with one price and charge the customer with another. I won't be coming back here or recommending the restaurant to anyone. There are other great options in the area with good business practice. ....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . Nice and clean restaurants with a couple of tables for eating there They deliver your food in containers so that if you can't finish- u just cover it and bring it home We ordered spring rolls, hot and sour soup and kungpao chicken for the hubby and for me - bbq pork rice noodles. Food was hot and fresh. Spring rolls were perfect. Hot and sour soup - wasn't great for me - tasted more like well-seasoned soy soup with a little pepper with a smackeribg of ingredients. It still was tasty- just now what I expect of hot and sour soup. My bbq meifun was fresh and tasty - just a tad oily for me. I've had better at some other establishments. We did bring the left overs home. And it heats up good. Kungpao chicken and the meifun both reheated pretty well. It will be one of those in the chinese rotations for us- and i will probably try something else

I wasn't interested in the chain restaurants, so this place looked like it was worth a try. I decided to go with the Hunan chicken since I'm trying to cut back on four-legged animals, the veggies are a plus. The chicken was properly velveted and has that nice juicy texture. The wok flavor was definitely there. The order came with a fried rice which is just plain fried rice with a bit of soy sauce and wok flavoring. I was impressed with how authentic the food tasted and was truly glad I stopped by. There was too much food so I took the other half to go. I will definitely stop by again if given the chance. The service was great, a bit slower than Panda Express because the food is cooked to order. The ambience was perfect because I was the only one there at 3:30.

It was on par with most places that I've tried. The princess chicken offered a ton of meat, was very sauced and plentiful with veggies, zucchini, carrots, and celery. A solid choice. Overall, a ton of food for about $20. Now for the best--adding that homemade chili oil was , it was so good and offered a lovely complement to my meal. I loved it but it has quite a kick, so proceed with caution. Food was packaged well, and still warm when I received it.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

The dining room was nicely lit and spacious. The waiter came around and took our drink and food order. I had a diet Pepsi, it was completely flat, I had to ask for a can instead. We placed our order for egg rolls to start and hot pot. Spicy broth, beef, fishball, fungus, bokchoy, shrimp, egg noodle and a side of white rice. They quickly set up the gas burner for soup and perched the soup pot on top. Then came out the plate of meat and noodle and we were told they are out of bokchoy. EVERYTHING WAS FROZEN SOLID We waited awhile for the soup to boil (needed to properly cook seafood) but it never did. We tasted the soup. It was a little spicy but odd. Couldn't put my finger on it. Then adding all the frozen items even just some at a time the soup never boiled. We let it sit for a while to at least gain some heat before starting to eat. Waiter came. Asked again about rice and egg rolls. The rice came We managed to cook everything and eat. Had to flag down staff to ask for a check Egg rolls never came. But appeared on the bill as well as the bokchoy that I had to ask to be removed from the bill. I hate writing negative reviews but this was needed.
