Came by here because it was near the Sheraton hotel I was staying at and I wanted to get my usually fav for years. Ruby turkey burger which use to be a big turkey patty made from scratch and there fries and salad bar buffet. Was very disappointed to find out they no longer have the turkey burger and got their grill chicken sandwich. The chicken was very small and fried were soft and greasy and I was still hungry so I ordered their Steak kabob bowl with added shrimp. The shrimp cost like 7$ or so to add and was very small shrimp and like 4 or pieces for 7 to 8$? The steak kabob and rice was very greasy and I ended up spending like almost 50$ for this? And a confusing butter sauce for a middle eastern style meal was confusing also. No cucumber or Tizikie sauce. They also no longer have the seafood trio I use to get which is fish. I went to this Ruby Tuesday's location today for takeout lunch (10/10/2019). When I went in to pickup the food, the customer service didn't seem that friendly. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait in the car, in the 'to go' parking spot or go inside. I went inside, there is no to go section. I went to the hostess and see. She said I had to pay at the bar. Waited a minute while the employees talked to each other. They got my food quick, and they were not rude, but didn't get the friendly vibe. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Chicken, with side of fries and dirty rice as pictured. The fries were good and they did not get soggy like they sometimes do in take out. Rice didn't really have any flavor, so I tried to each as much as I could with the chicken. The chicken was alright. It had good flavor, but it was tough. It seemed like leftover chicken or like it was reheated in a microwave. They also lined the take out box with aluminum foil. This was a problem because when I used the plastic fork and knife to cut the chicken it started to tear up the aluminum foil as pictured and I had to check to make sure I was not eating any aluminum foil. I would probably go back to this place and try a different dish. I give it three starts this time. Minus two stars for tough chicken, aluminum foil in the take out container, and customer service not being friendly. read more

My husband loves to come here for the salad bar. The service is good when we go. My only complaint is the restaurant itself is that it is dark, dirty and has a bad odor. I don't know if the odor is from the A/C or what they possibly clean with. They keep updating the menu but it seems like they could spend their money more wisely and do a renovation. Updating / upgrading my review today for some good experience. I had a sirloin steak with onion rings and a salad bar salad. Requested "medium" for my steak and guess what? It was very accurately medium. Not medium rare, or medium well, or well done but medium. It is not special in Japan, but here, most often it becomes well done or medium well when you ask for medium. The onion rings were very crisp and crunchy, and I love their salad bar. All good today! Now I can go back to work! ;) read more

We have been here several times in the past few years and have experienced marginal food quality and the usual under staffed mess. I'm not leaving a bad review for something that is not the staffs fault. We always enjoyed the comprehensive salad bar and that has been the reason we have kept going back. However, this past weekend, we were extremely surprised to see a completely new menu with many more options to choose from. It was a Saturday afternoon so there was a short wait due to large groups that had just come in. We were told 20 minutes. Not bad for a Saturday night in Greensboro. 10 minutes later, we were seated. Yes, it needs some updating and blah blah blah whatever. It was clean and comfortable. Our server greeted us almost immediately even though she had multiple tables of groups. She immediately got our drink order and upon bringing them back took our order. I ordered the hickory burbon salmon with broccoli and a baked potato. I also ordered a Ruby Relaxer drink. A couple minutes later, she brings my drink. It's delicious as always and came out very quickly. She came by a couple minutes later apologizing for it taking so long, but it wasn't really any longer than we expected. Very good service. The salmon was not only good. It was exceptional. Perfectly grilled with the sweet but tangy sauce. The portion size was perfect. The broccoli was steamed with just a tiny bit of salt or something that had a good, mellow flavor. The portion size was perfect. The baked potato was nice and hot with just enough butter and sour cream. The potato was not huge, but not too small either. After eating, she quickly picked up our dishes and asked if we would like dessert. We shared a brownie sundae that was huge. The brownie was moist (hehe) and just warm enough. The ice cream was delicious mixed with the warm brownie and whipped cream. Just as we finished our dessert, she asked if we needed anything else and we didn't. She was able to take payment immediately there at the table with a handheld device. She graciously thanked us with big, genuine smile. The food quality was excellent as it had been many years ago because they are revamping the menu and focusing on better quality. The service was excellent, the food was excellent. This is what Ruby Tuesday had lost due to cost cutting. If you liked Ruby Tuesday many years ago, you'll be extremely pleased. Excellent food at reasonable prices. I do like a nice salad bar, with fresh looking and tasting choices available, and with a nice variety of items - the one here fits the bill. When we walked in there for lunch today, there was no one in the front of the restaurant, customers or staff. After giving my best Seinfeld impression of "The Voice" - Hello! Hello!, an employee came out , and we were seated. The Hostess wandered in about 15 minutes later, guess she thought it was Monday. The Salad Bar was fully loaded and ready. There was a nice variety of greens - lettuce, mixed, and baby spinach. In addition, to the normal veggies, there was chopped ham, chopped egg, fresh bacon bits, pasta salad, and potato salad. The salads dressings, there were 5 or 6, all looked nice, and The Blue Cheese and Ranch were very good, fresh tasting. Bread was available with the trip to the salad bar, but we passed - "being good" is what Alice terms that. The trip to the bar, as often as you wish, will run you $7.99. The service was nice and friendly, and the only down side was the same hostess who was late, also insisted on placing every in the same small, central area - with the entire restaurant open. Usually good service and food. Today stopped for lunch and found a nasty hair in my salad. I know it happens sometimes. Definitely lost my appetite after that. Waitress still charged me for the ice tea. I'm not typically one to complain about these things but the damn tea was 3.62! You would think that if they were going to comp the half a plate of nasty hairy salad that they would also comp the one glass of ice tea I had to wash the hairy salad down. Shame on you Ruby Tuesday. The Ruby Tuesday salad bar is one of my top 5 favorite meals ever. The vast selection is hard to beat and I love walking in seeing the salad bar glistening in all its glory. I have never been to this Ruby Tuesday, but when here today after church with some of my church members. The place was nice; we were greeted by the hostess who gave us a 15 minute wait to be seated which wasn't bad. Once were were seated, a nice waitress named Amber took out drink order. That took a little long, but she really looked like she was putting in the effort so I didn't give her a hard time about it (bless her heart). We were suppose to have biscuits come out to us on a constant basis, but only got two plates and by then we were ready for some REAL food. I got the full rack baby back ribs with classic barbecue causes and a loaded baked potato as well as a Caesar salad for my sides. The Caesar salad was relatively dry so I had to ask for my dressing and it was okay, but I probably should have went with green beans or broccoli instead. I wish they had more sides to choose from as it seemed like they were limited in their selection. The ribs were good, tender, and fell off the bone. The sauce was really good and had a sweet and tangy flavor to it which I liked a lot. The potato was good as well and consisted of cheese, sour cream, bacons bits and chives. It was all very filling as I finished the whole thing and didn't want anything else! I did get strawberry lemonade to drink and Amber constantly made sure I had another one the entire time which was really nice! One thing Amber did which was great was that when I went to use a coupon to get 50% for my meal, she pulled one up on her phone so that we could use it for our table so one of my church members could get half off her meal too! She did it without her boss knowing which was really really REALLY cool! As a table, we definitely hooked up with the tip as she earned it for sure. She wasn't the swiftest waitress but to do something like that is virtually unheard of! She made sure we all had to go cups to take home so we made sure she got her cash tip! I had a great experience here. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I had the smokehouse burger and onion rings. Both were cooked perfect and the food came out in 15 minutes. My wife and I had the most mediocre and pricey meal here tonight. Our appetizers were passable and our server was very friendly and attentive, so these were at least a couple positive things about our visit. However, when it came to our entrees, we were badly disappointed. I ordered the ribeye and it was cut very thin (less than 1/2" in thickness) for a supposedly 12 oz. portion. To make it worse, it was flavorless and tough and not worth a quarter of the $20 it cost. My wife ordered a chicken and pasta dish and the noodles were overcooked, with very little sauce. The meal was just so bad and cost so much that we've decided to mark all Ruby Tuesdays off our list and never waste another dime on them again (past visits at this chain have been unspectacular, but nothing as bad as this visit). I recommend others steer clear of this place and try to find somewhere that fixes better quality food such as an all-night truck stop or a convenience store. read more

I can get past the stigma and assume I will get run of the mill food and service. Nah. This was SO, so, so bad. Ordered a chicken avocado sandwich thing. Flat rubber chicken, dead-a$$ avocado. Didn't touch the bread. Appeared that it was normal for the staff to treat restaurant like it was their own club. One hostess rolled up to order her employee meal, next to me at bar, (she ordered the ASSiago chicken wrapped to go, not judging, but really, ASSiago?) where I got an earful about her passing out in the passenger seat in the car @ a trailer park and something about her sister (with much more detail) Many Servers were cruising around with their cells on SPEAKER phone, so I have details of what's what in their lives, but did enjoy one guys voice on other end of phone. The awesome burger at Ruby Tuesday's tried it tonight and have to say wasn't impressed. I was comparing it to other plant based burgers I have had other restaurants and at home I wanted more flavor really not sure about the bun (potato maybe vegan) but with the burger served without condiments it was like eating a sponge. I missed that maillard umami from this i finally added American cheese, red onion, mayo and ketchup I know it killed the idea of plant based but it should have been better from the start. read more

If you are going by for a late night drink where the bartender is ore interested in hanging out with her friends at the bar than serving you then this is your place. Came for lunch with 3 coworkers at 1 PM on 8/18/17. Our food came to the table at 1:50 PM after we asked the manager to see what the delay was. French fries were cold. Requested more French fries and that also took a long time. Requested extra napkins - never came. Neither the manager or the server asked how anything was. The place was NOT crowded at all. On a Sunday there were only two waitress Mimi & Jennifer working and both seemed annoyed to be working. They were rude and could use some customer service training.
