After standing near the host stand not sure how long I was standing there..a lady walked up asked for my name for pickup.. she left and came back ..they working on your order it should about ,5 minutes. I was then directed to sit in the designated wait area for to go orders. But I stood. A server then asked my name.. oh they working on it now. Ok.. they keeping me updated. That's good right? Anyway.. the drink board said it was $6 whiskey Wednesday. I proceeded to the bar where there was the server mixing a drink. She confirmed they working on my order now.. but didn't ask if I wanted a drink.. by this time it's 12:15pm.. so I'm just standing at the empty bar... 12:21pm my food finally was delivered to me. I was starving. Every thing was good Hickory Bourbon Salmon. (I started to ask for more sauce..but that might have took another 10 min.) Broccoli seasoned well cooked just right. Loaded Baked Potato means load ALL THE TOPPINGS. not skimp on the other toppings and add a huge scoop of Sour cream. I added more cheese when I got home. Good food worth the wait.. Unfortunately, most of our Ruby Tuesday's have closed in Northwest Indiana. So we felt compelled to eat at the one we passed after leaving the Airbnb. We were seated quickly, and had 2 servers assigned to our table due to the size of our group. I began with a Long Island ice tea that was so good and the appetizers Trio with onion rings, sliders and potato skins. My entrée. was the Cajun chicken with mashed potatoes. All of my food was Delicious. Our entire party Enjoyed their meals. The ambience was comfortable. Overall experience is definitely 5 Stars. We were a little hesitant about going, and should have listened to our gut. I normally get the salad bar, and unfortunately I did this time. The cucumbers were slimy, the tomatoes were at least a week old after being cut up and refrigerated a couple of times, the Cole slaw was brown, and the service was terrible! No service whatsoever. I waited at the hostess stand - no hostess appeared. I asked a worker if I needed to be seated by a hostess? He pointed to the kitchen. I eventually walked to the (table) seating area - no waitstaff. When a staff member finally appeared, she acknowledged my presence but never seated me. I made a simple order on the app at 12:49 for a Mushroom burger and the deconstructed kebabs. That's all. When I got to the restaurant at 1:05 PM, there was nobody at the hostess station. There was one table for seven, and no other customers I waited for five minutes then walked up to the bar. The hostess finally stepped out of the back and walked me back to the front. I visited this location on Dec 17th with my team for a Holiday lunch. Everything was exceptional from the server to the food. We had Tia and there was not a moment where we needed to look for her for refills or if was just extra condiments needed. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was nice. Wanted a salad for dinner. Ruby Tuesday was near the hotel, and near the airport. We hadn't seen one for years so we went. Walking in there was the salad bar. Lots of memories came back of dining with friends in the popular restaurant chain during different times. An employee holding a broom greeted us with a smile. Then she seated us and took our order. We both ordered the salad bar for $12.99. There is a variety of iced tea flavors. The peach is delicious. Everything looked clean. Our waitress was Tanquinette. I said to her that she was the lady holding a broom when we walked in, and that she was a multi-tasker. She said she had been on the clock since early in the day, and did what had to be done since they were short of help. She was pleasant and smiled. She liked her job, she said. Kudos to her. We enjoyed the sampler together. For my entree, I got the 12 oz steak and shrimp with a loaded baked potato and zucchini. My shrimp was kinda small and over cooked. My steak was also over cooked. I ordered it medium. When I received it, it was more brown than pink on the inside. I really enjoyed my zucchini and baked potato. We arrived there for an early dinner (about 5:00 pm) on Feb 24th and the place was seriously understaffed. What made this a memorable experience was the young man who hosted us, ordered our food, served the food, checked on us and refilled our glasses and bussed the tables all by himself. I mean he was cranking out the hard work. The food was good, took a hot minute to get my drink and we were given plastic forks to eat our salads until he could get back with a real fork, but his work ethic was outstanding! If anything, I fault the manager for not staffing properly and the other female working who didn't seem to want to help much. The customer service was horrible and the restaurant was very dirty. I hate to be that person but this I never recommend anyone to eat here.
