This Truetts has been opened since I could remember one of the first ones in the area. The only thing that was an issue was when you place a Mobile order you still have to wait in the long drive thru line. I've been to this location a few times before and never went inside. I called to see if they had the new menu items and they did. One part of the restaurant is like a regular CFA, while the other side is a retro style dining. They have a train that goes around at the top. We were seated immediately and it took a few minutes for the server to come, but her teammates got our drink orders. My friend and I both got the chicken and waffles. It didn't disappoint at all. My friend, her bf, and I wanted to try Truett's Grill so we dined in on the full service side. We ordered some non typical Chick Fil A items to share- loaded waffle fries, fried pickles, brussel sprouts, fried okra, and sweet potato soufflé. The loaded waffle fries was a huge portion. The sauce on it was interesting. The fried pickles and sauce that came with it were one of my fav items we got. The brussel sprouts were cooked and seasoned well. The fried okra was alright. The sweet potato soufflé was not too sweet and had oats on top which was interesting. Service was alright. The food was fine. It tasted like chic fil a. However the sit down portion of the restaurant had HORRIFIC service. For something that would take maybe 5-10 mins in the drive through depending on the level of business. It took an hour almost to get our food. The waitress kept forgetting to bring us the things we requested like straws , sauces etc. We ended up having to walk up the front counter to pay our check because the waitress took over ten minutes already to come collect our card. read more

My friend and I wanted to try the Truett's Grill menu options so we decided to go on a Saturday early afternoon. It got crowded pretty fast and we got there at just the right time. The diner style of the restaurant is super cute and I enjoyed the option to sit down and have a server take my order. I got the loaded waffle fries, brussells sprouts, okra and chicken and waffles. The loaded waffle fries were good. The brussels sprouts weren't flavorful and cooked enough for me although the okra was just right, the breading was just right. The chicken and waffles was okay but I think I'm a bit spoiled with Waffle House type waffles. It's a fast-food chain serving chicken sandwiches, waffle potato fries and nuggets along with salads and sides. Sit down table service with breakfast served all day. If you sit on the dine-in side, they have a really cool train that circles around above you. I tried Spicy Chicken Sandwich with waffle pottato fries and Nuggets. Got the Siracha sauce which is a great add-on to your meal. Everything was fresh and hot. Definetely recommend stopping by and visiting this location. Here the employees are kind and patient. It was actually more than this, but would couldn't resist trying before posting. They are crispy on the outside and still a juicy pickle inside. They come with a cilantro-lime sauce that I didn't think I would like, but I love it! My husband got the CFA skillet that comes with seasoned potatoes, scrambled eggs, chicken, and cheddar topped with cilantro-lime sauce with bacon. I just got nuggets, but the meal comes with 2 sides. Unfortunately, they had that closed off and only the busy, noisy little tables next to the registers were being offered. The service wasn't very speedy and despite using the required "my pleasure" there was no heart in the staff. Quite a disappointing and unwelcoming venue, and on my next trip I think I'll pass this one up. They also have orange cones that are unfriendly to anyone wanting to park and it's clear they are trying to FORCE everyone to go through the dire-thru and get out of their face. read more

Not what you would expect from Chick-fil-a. I used the app to order curbside pick-up, parked, entered my space number, and waited... over 15 minutes before finally walking in to cancel my order. No, they weren't busy. Both the self-serve and dine in sides were practically empty. No, the drive-thru line wasn't long. No, they weren't short-staffed. There were plenty of employees, several doing nothing. I suppose I could have walked in and canceled my order earlier, but a foot injury had prompted me to use curbside service in the first place. While the manager did offer to refund my costs and give me the food for free, I was not seeking a free meal. I accepted the refund. I am more than willing to pay for Chick-fil-a when it comes with the high-quality service for which it is typically known. Truett's Morrow, you need to step it up. read more

My wife and I visited just because we were out. My wife felt there was a bit of weird behavior displayed, but I'm not sure. We waited on our waiter and she arrived in a timely manner. She took our order and promptly brought out our drinks. We waited a little while for our food but it finally came out about 30 minutes after ordering. Whenever you find yourself in ATL it's a must to check out the local Chick-fil-A's. I happened upon this one in Morrow and discovered a sit down diner drive thru combo called Truett's grill. Part 50's diner and standard CFA this one offers sit down service with options similar to the famed Dwarf House in Hapeville. As is true of about 99.99% of CFAs you find friendly people and good food at a great price. The 50s huts playing overhead made me feel like I might run into George or Marty McFly or the boys from the Sandlot. Let's start with the boy taking my order. First of all, I told him my name 3 times. He wrote Vinista or something like that. I asked for a crispy spicy chicken Cobb salad. I have absolutely no clue what I got. The chicken was grilled and the salad was most definitely not the Cobb salad. The kid took my daughters order and when I started to order he asks: "oh you're ordering too?", we had to repeat our order several times. I honestly think he over charged me. As much as I love Chick-fil-A, I was very disappointed with this one. I did a mobile order pick up and was very clear on what I wanted with my salad paid extra for all the extra items I wanted, but upon pick up, was not what I ordered. I paid for extra chicken and extra strawberries and did not want blue cheese, but instead I received a normal salad with the blue cheese and the normal amount of chicken and strawberries when I brought this to a team members attention. They argued that that was what I ordered when I clearly did not. I showed them my receipt. They still gave me an issue until I asked to speak with the manager, they didn't want me to speak to the manager, so they finally gave me what I paid for. I was highly disappointed in the actions of such Chick-fil-A employees. I have never had an experience like that. Usually when I have a problem with my food it's met with.
