In general it was clean. I asked the ladies that were working the counter how long it would take for my wings to come out. They said approximately 10 minutes, which was good because I was in a little bit of a rush. I decided to order the garlic parmesan wings, 10 piece. 11.99. They came out pretty quickly, of course, they were hot. My only issue was it was swimming in sauce/grease. Be careful that when you get your wings. I can't lie. I was extremely disappointed in my visit to Steve's BBQ…read more Now let me start by saying, I am a BBQ snob. I take BBQ seriously. So when I walked in and found out they did not have ribs, I almost needed a moment of silence. WHAT?! Yes, you read that right. A BBQ place with no ribs. According to the cashier, Steve's didn't have ribs that day. I let it slide because, at the time, they had only been open for a couple of weeks. I believe in giving new businesses grace, especially when they are still getting their rhythm together. They did have a nice little crowd seated inside, which was good to see. I wanted to support them. However, while the doors were open, the place did not feel fully ready from an ambiance standpoint. There was junk behind what looked like the soon to be bar area. Boxes and clutter were visible, and honestly, that takes away from the experience. It is hard to focus on the food when your eyes are trying to figure out if you are in a restaurant or the back room at a storage unit. They did have booths available for customers to sit and enjoy their food, so that was a plus. Since there were no ribs, I ordered a steak hoagie sandwich and asked for extra cheese. Well, the young lady forgot to put my order in, so I ended up waiting over 25 minutes for this hoagie. By the time I got it, I was ready to take a picture, sit in my car, and have my little food review moment. But NOPE. That could not happen because the sandwich was absolutely slathered in "special sauce." It was giving sauce with a side of sandwich. And after all that, there was no extra cheese, which was specifically what I asked for. I was disappointed for three main reasons: no ribs, the order was forgotten, and the sandwich was soggy. I did not even get pictures because I refused to touch my phone and risk turning it into a saucy crime scene. I will not order that sandwich again. One day, I may give Steve's another try because I would still like to actually try the ribs. You know, the BBQ item I expected a BBQ restaurant to have. Ok, that is all. Bye!

Total came out to around $40. The wait was not long, about 10-15 mins and we dined in. The server Jason G was very cool and gave us good recommendations. We were given a bucket with paper towels and sauces, standard for BBQ places. The turkey was juicy and the brisket was cooked well. The Mac was a bit stiff, warm but kinda like the cheese sauce could have used more liquid. The greens were really good in my opinion. The cowboy beans could have used a touch more brown sugar but once again, personal preference. The Peach Habanero sauce was fun spicy, the Sweet Rebel was too sweet for personal taste but they mixed well together. Overall nice and simple establishment. Will return. They are also on DoorDash, Ubereats and a third delivery company - Grubhub maybe.

Wing Box: A Delicious Surprise…read more We came to Wing Box with high expectations, given all the hype we've heard about their wings. But little did we know, this place would not just meet those expectations--it would exceed them. From the first bite, it was clear that Wing Box knows how to do wings right. The crunch of every wing, fry, and piece of fried shrimp was the stuff of dreams. We started with the Cajun bone-in wings, and let me tell you, these wings delivered a perfect blend of spice and crunch that left us craving more. The seasoning was spot on, hitting that perfect balance between heat and flavor. Next up, the boneless Thai sweet chili wings were a revelation. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness to complement the mild heat, making every bite irresistible. And as if the wings weren't enough, the fried shrimp were equally impressive, boasting the same satisfying crunch and flavor that made the wings a standout. Aside from the food, the customer service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal. Wing Box is one of those rare places that lives up to the buzz. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on flavor and crunch, this is it. We walked in expecting good wings, but we left with a new favorite spot that we can't wait to visit again. Now could the rating change when we try other items on the menu. Of course! But I don't think that's likely; at least I hope it's not. But I will keep yall updated!
