We decided to try this place for dinner on Thursday night and now this is our new spot for Chinese. We placed our online and drove ten minutes there and only had to wait maybe an additional ten minutes for it to be ready. We had sesame chicken/chicken fried rice Teriyaki wings with/fried rice Eggrolls may be the best we have ever had Crab Rangoon French Fries / were seasoned very well We both agreed that if we go back we will skip the rice, loved the wings and plan to try more flavors! My first time at this location and as soon as I walked in and reminded me of a New York Chinese restaurant except it doesn't have the bulletproof glass. I wanted to order 4 chicken wings and French fries, but they didn't have that on the menu. I order chicken Lo mein and egg rolls. It took a while for my food to come out, I'm not sure why, so we waited in the. We waited in the restaurant. The restaurant definitely needs some cleaning. lots of spider webs. The window glass was dirty. I think the owners of the shopping center where Eddie's is located are not doing a good job with maintaining it in general because the air conditioning wasn't working well or at all. It wasn't just Eddie's, the other establishments in the shopping center as well. I got food to go. It was very tasty. The staff which was a man and a woman they were pleasant as needed to be. My food was good. I definitely will be back there again to try other items on the menu. I have frequently gone to eddies. It's been a roller coaster. Thier food is good especially their wings. Lately I have gotten the spicy chicken or shrimp which has a lot of veggies and it is not greasy. I always know good food when I came eat it cold and it's still good and I don't have to wipe solid grease off my lips! read more

My family and I have eaten at Eddie's 10-15 times and it's been 5 stars every time. They are super fast in preparing your food, everything comes out hot and no one beats them bang for the buck. If you want spicy they don't typically do that but the flavor is excellent. I can't recommend them more! read more

I live right down the street and never noticed this place. I looked it up online today and saw they had Mee Fun which I love so i placed an order online. I ordered the house Mee Fun and it was so good. Lots of chicken, shrimp, pork and beef and the portion size was enough for 2 people! The food was good not great. We ordered wings that came with fries for one of our orders and chicken fried rice on the other. The highlight for my meal was the fried rice and not the wings. I tried this place today on a long shot and to be honest I am impressed. I got the combo sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and Crab Rangoon. It was excellent the sweet and sour sauce was correct and thick not runny. I ordered online and came in paid and only waited about 5 minutes. This is the kind of place that would probably scare my more delicately-sensibilified, conservative friends. The location is not much to look at. Indeed, you get the idea that maybe you shouldn't make eye contact with anyone on your way into or out of this establishment. BUT, don't let that stop you from trying them out. If we were in NYC, Eddie's 2 Go is exactly the kind of corner joint you'd visit for a quick Chinese take-out craving. Except it's in the suburbs of Stockbridge, GA. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The name "Eddie's 2 Go" does not seem accurately descriptive. (The name doesn't say anything to me about Chinese food.) Presumably there's an Eddie involved somewhere in the Asian family that runs this place. (And perhaps the name was submitted to the Secretary of State's office via text message.) Eddie (and his family) make Chinese / Thai food, with a few western things (wings and burgers) thrown in to boot. I'd say stick with the Asian items. That part of the menu seems fairly typical, and they seem to do a good job with it. (They've been in business for years.) I had some Mongolian Beef. It was really, very good: sweet & salty, with fresh onions and cuts of beef that weren't too overdone. It was exactly what I was craving. You definitely want to take your food to go. You could sit here and enjoy the food, except there's not much in the way of atmosphere. Eddie's 2 Go is very clean, yet the seats don't look very comfortable. And the television seems permanently tuned into some sort of proletarian drivel like "Entertainment Tonight," or "Judge Judy" or some such dreck. The focus is clearly on the food. And they're fast! The portions are big whether you order the lunch or dinner combination. The chinese food taste great compared to other chinese takeout places I have tried. It is American chinese, not authentic Chinese but that's usually what you get from take out places. I tried the lemon pepper wings. They seasoning tastes good but the wings aren't anything special. I've been eating here (off and on) for 3 years. They serve Chinese and American food. The wings are the best around. I usually get hot & honey barbecue. The lemon pepper is tasty as well. This location is on the corner of Walt Stevens and Flippen Rd. A previous reviewer mentioned that it wasn't a good area. I would have to disagree. There use to be a barber shop a few doors down but that shop is no longer there. I'm sure he was talking about the patrons of the shop but (as a woman) I've never felt threatened and I shy away from being in dangerous areas. I wish I could give 0 stars. I am so so disappointed. Firstly, my food wasn't hot at all and I watch them prepare it. So that says a lot about how the store their food once it's prepared. Nothing tasted fresh, the spring rolls were very similar to rolls you can buy in the freezer section at Walmart. The rice was just SUPER dry and the noodles..... well they mei fun noodles just no. If you're craving Chinese food or Thai food (basil dishes), this is the place to get quick food to take home to eat. We order here when we don't feel like cooking and need something quick. We had one dish with shrimp and scallops and the seafood tasted very fresh. The vegetables also taste very fresh, not frozen. We always request less sauce/less salty and they seem to meet our needs fairly well. If you order chicken wings here, keep in mind they are smaller wings and have less meat on them. This was our first visit to Eddie's 2 Go and it will be our last visit! The service was good...but this was probably had the worst Chinese food that we've ever had anywhere!! My 'cashew' chicken had peanuts on it! There was very little chicken...but a huge amount of unidentifiable vegetables! The 'fried' rice was actually some kind of yellow rice with peas and carrots mixed in it. It was nothing fried about it and it taste like it was an instant rice. My husband had General Tso's chicken...which was just as bad as my 'cashew chicken' ...and was not spicy at all. The egg rolls were okay...not the best I have ever had ..but passable. We have always eaten at the Golden Buddha in Morrow and the Hong Kong Cafe on Jonesboro Rd. in McDonough. The recent decline in the quality of the food at the Hong Kong Cafe caused us to look for another Chinese restaurant, which is why we went to Eddie's 2 Go. I was on the way home and wanted to order take out while I visited a friend. I ordered Mongolian beef and got basically onions and scallions with beef niblets. There was no meat! I would have returned to the store but I was already home and the restaurant is not close to my house. I was incredibly disappointed being that it was my first time visiting this restaurant.
