Wings on Wheat isn't new to me at all, this place has been part of my routine for years. Back when…read moreI was over 500 lbs, I used to come here every week and get a 30-piece with a half gallon like it was nothing. So coming back recently felt like a real full circle moment. And honestly... the quality hasn't changed. The wings are crispy, well-seasoned all the way through, and they don't hold back on the sauce. Everything tastes fresh and made right, not rushed or bland. You can tell they've been consistent for a reason. I pulled up again with @maskedfoodreviewer and we both agreed, this spot still stands on business. If you're on the Southside of Atlanta and looking for good wings, this is definitely a place to check out. For me, it's more than just food, it's history.

I really enjoyed the wings here. I have a few wing spots that I frequent, but ventured out and…read moretried a new place. They have soooo many wing flavors. Many flavors I never even thought of. I played it safe and ordered a 6 piece honey hot combo. It came with a drink and the total was a little over $11. I didn't wait too long before my order was called. The wings were delicious and were a nice size. I ordered them crispy and they were just right. The customer service was great as well and I looked forward to returning when in the area.

One was good and the other was poor. The inconsistency is disappointing. Yesterday, I went to JJs again and it was not good. They barely dusted any flavor, the chicken was fried too soft, and it was hard to pull apart. I should have taken it back but I didn't taste it until I made it home. I need to find a new JJs that still has the signature breading, wing size, and crispiness.

I had a friend passing through town and staying at a hotel that was close to here. I gave her the…read moreoption of a few places to meet up for dinner, and she chose the three dollar café. I love that the restaurant is sort of half sports bar and half bar and grill. What I mean by this is that there's a space if you just wanna hang out and do adult things, and space if you want to bring the family and sit down to a meal. there are TVs literally all around the restaurant area. There is not a single angle someone could be sitting at where a television is not viewable. This is great if anyone is, your table is really into the game that's on. No one will ever have to train their neck in this restaurant to check a score. They have tables for all sizes of groups, but what's really great is the role of extra large booths in the center of the restaurant. We had a party of seven-- two adults, two small children, and three teenagers. We fit extremely comfortably in a booth with space to spare. Our waitress was excellent with the children and teens alike. The pacing of the service did lag a bit, but it was fine for us since we were taking the time to catch up. Everyone enjoyed their food. The adults both ordered cocktails off the $3 menu. Those were tasty, but (depending on age) you might do better to upgrade to top shelf alcohol.

I love bringing my mom here. She's a senior and the choices for her and for myself are plenty because we have different pallets and I love that they have a lot of options. Now my favorite thing they serve is that CARROT SOUFFLÉ! Y'all I don't know what it is made with besides love and carrots, but it is absolutely delicious and my favorite. Please watch my video And they're always very polite and very accommodating to people's request of certain parts of the meat or certain pieces of meat and such and such. There's plenty of seating inside if you have a large group, you can definitely put tables together. And plenty of parking outside in a large parking lot. Now depending on what part of N. Henry Blvd you're trying to get out onto that can be a little tough, and depending on the time of day. But all in all, it's definitely a great place to come to for a wonderful meal. And you can get a little senior discount or military discount if it applies to you.
