I went to get Chinese food but they were closed so I decided to give this spot a try. The female cashier seemed to instantly get irritated because I asked for light ice. You would have thought I asked her to freeze the water until it turned to little cubes. I assume the male near her was the manager. He encouraged me to order the Philly Steak egg roll. NASTY! Then he suggested the Korean salad. NASTY and too hot to enjoy taste! The chicken egg rolls were cold and seemed they had been frozen because the inside was cold while the outside was crispy. The price for 10 wings and fried rice an drink is about $20. For $5-$10 more I could have eaten a great steak at Longhorns or Saltgrass (Texas) The shrimp fried rice was thick grained rice not the rice from a Chinese restaurant although, it was Shrimp Fried Rice. I drenched it with all kinds of sauces. I ordered a single fried Whiting fish and it was not in my order. But, I lived too far to go back and argue about it. I would only go in for their Peach Drink. Definitely won't be going back. read more

They have a roach infestation issue. The manager is also not a kind person, and I'm sure I've seen a roach cooking in the back. He refuses to call an exterminator despite the complaints, and there's rumors that most of the roaches in question are hiding under the freezer. It's a shame this establishment sponsors Lovejoy High, the school deserves much better than this read more

Really good wings and service . Always order wings for my game night with fellas . Forgot about the prices they're great to

These are the best wings in lovejoy. I've been coming here since I was 17 and i'm now 30. Menu hasn't changed much and neither has the recipe! You definitely won't regret grabbing ANYTHING off this menu! read more

I remember when the combo was $ 8.99 Good normal size wings. Can't go wrong. They do have big orders available. I've been able to feed 8 grown men with 100 wings. read more

Best place to get wings on the south side of! It's a little spot but the staff is lovely! Been coming here for over 10 years and my go to are the hot lemon pepper wings! The sweet tea that they make is always delicious! read more

Go at your own risk. The customer service is poor and it is very unsanitary. Look at their health score. I experienced a wing falling on the side table everyone goes to and they picked it up to put back in my container. When I said I didn't want it they acted like I said something ridiculous. What is really going on in the back? read more

Ultimately my food was fine. I got the wing special with sweet tea and considering the price it was ok. On the other hand I called my order in and it was if I didnt because I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. As I stood at the counter I noticed THE SCORE. It was low 70's. The signage was too far away for me to read the details from the counter but I made up my mind in that second not to come back, regardless off how it tasted. No hairnets- just flipping ponytails, smh. But I ate it. read more

The wings were ok. They definitely were extra spicy like I asked. The portion wasn't what I expected for $14 for a 10 piece. If a drink comes with ur, why must it be a sweet tea without the chance if a substitution? The employees whom gave me my food and took my order over the phone were nice though. read more

BOMB wings . I love Buffalo but their mild sauce is so good ! I know everybody runs to American deli but really you should step out and come here !! It's soooo good ! read more

The food is are pretty tasty, I've even found the fish and shrimp to be good. However, the staff have issues with setting boundaries for people once their order is ready. Yesterday (Christmas Eve) two gentlemen (who were not together) were picking up their orders both with no masks (yuck). They both came past the the register at the table they use to put orders in the bags and put condiments in. One asked if he could put his own seasoning salt on his fries and he was permitted to do so. I don't know them and I don't know whom they've been in contact with but going forward I'll pass on Lovejoy Wings Cafe read more

Came through after a late night at work. I ordered the 10pcs lemon pepper wings and fried rice. Not a rice eater but didn't want French fries and my family said it was good. The lemon pepper wings were hot and fresh. They were cooked well with no pink which is how I like to eat them. This trip was a call in order of 15mins. When I arrived my food was waiting. They showed it to me, asked me if I wanted condiments and then asked for payment-nicely done. I will return again on a Friday or Saturday night. read more

Terrible service girl that took our order acted like it bothered her to take the order Drove 20 min to pick it up and shocker she didn't put the order in. I called and said she didn't remember taking the order them magically remembered and said it must have fallen on the floor the owner got on the phone talk to me then hung up read more

These are the way wings are supposed to be made. Fresh, crispy, and tasty. You can't ask for anything better. Better than the chain restaurants that serve wings. They have extensive flavors, and items on the menu besides wings. Fried rice, salads, fish, shrimp, burgers, and sandwiches. You can dine in, and watch tv on the two flat screens, and have a nice cold draft beer, cause yes they have s about four beers on tap, so you can get a nice frosty, brew while they cook up your order fresh in the back. The service is great as well, even if you aren't a regular you're treated as if you are. You won't be disappointed. read more

Wings were delicious, tender and juicy. We got the lemon pepper and bbq along with potato skins and everything and I mean everything was good. This is our new go to wing spot!!! read more

I was very surprised by this place. I got me and my father food and it was excellent. The food was fast to come out but it was exactly as ordered. The wings are crispy, fries were good the sweet tea was on point. It was a lot of customers in there today, which is Christmas Eve, but they handled that flow exceptionally well. They took everybody's order as they came in they got everybody's food out as soon as it was ready. They were also juggling orders over the phone as well. The young ladies did amazing behind the counter as well as the young man. Young man also did not hesitate to thank a veteran for his service as he was sitting in the lobby waiting for his food. Get on him for noticing that and saying something. read more

If only reviewed the wings it would be only two stars, they are by crispy and the sauces are great. I didn't think you could get wings this small, ordered a 10 piece and fried rice. The rice is awesome and brought the rating up as would have still been hungry if I didn't have it, serve a normal size wing and this would be a 4-5 star place. I just feel I'm not getting my money's worth eating here. read more

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go here again to order anyone's food. Why the freak do you guys wait until people to get there to cook their food???!!!! That defeats the point of a call in order. Just say that call in orders are not available so that I won't be sitting there for 30 minutes waiting on my food that my parents called in!!! And you got the order wrong, so I had to wait even longer to get it corrected. I don't recommend this kind of incompetence to anyone. Get it together!! There are too many other options in the area for me to waste my time and money on mediocre wings. read more

Went here tonight to get wings. I ordered Lemon Pepper extra wet. I got a plate full of grease and greasy wings that tasted old and with no seasoning. My fries were soaked in grease also. This place has gone downhill fast. They currently have a 85 health score. Will need to find a new place to eat wings. read more

This is usually our fav lunch place but today all the tables were dirty & when we grabbed a menu it's a roach crawling around in it.. We will not be returning to this place read more

Went here last night and had the worst wings ever. Ordered lemon pepper and they tasted like plain wings with little to no sauce. Won't be going back. read more

Prices are reasonable but food is not always up to par. Sometimes the restaurant has a foul odor.

Wings were GREAT... But the cheese burger was HORRIBLE. the cook who I'm assuming is the owner came from the back to take my payment was sort of rude and loud to the young lady taking orders. I will try them again only because my son plays sports in the area. Again the wings were great. read more

Not a bad place to come and enjoy some food. The wings were on the small side but, they were decent. The sauces are great not too bad.

I don't expect for a fast casual restaurant to bring my food to the table or stop by to check on me while I'm eating, but they did. Hot lemon pepper wings and fries were fried perfectly and seasoned well. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. read more

Ordered from someone who clearly didn't speak English. I ordered lemon pepper wings with no sprinkles. Got sprinkles. Too salty. I ordered AN egg roll. Had to pay for two. No sweet and sour sauce. Best wings in the Hampton/Lovejoy area!!! I love every flavor (hot, lemon pepper, teriyaki, etc.) The fried rice is also pretty good. Very comparable to American Deli... Please be advised, if you go on the weekend, there WILL be a long wait for food. However, the food will be hot, fresh and cooked to order! read more

I was surprised to see that a review had not yet been written for this place as it's a staple in the Lovejoy/Hampton area. The restaurant is more take-out than dine-in but there are some tables and a small bar there which always has seats available. The owner and primary server is fairly prompt, remembers the orders of her regular customers and is pretty good at maintaining service for all diners and customers as she is usually the only person working outside of the cook. The food is prepared fresh and is always served hot and exactly as I've ordered it (and I'm one of those finicky eaters that always has a special order). The prices are fair in some things and a little high on others but in my opinion the portion sizes are fair for what you pay. Also, of note to those Budweiser fans, drafts are only $2. All in all this is a great place for wings and phillies, and if you're looking for a fast and well prepared meal this is a place to keep on your list. read more

The wings are basic wings. Nothing really special. Pizza hut has them beat. The celery accompanying the dishes were mostly brown. The battered mushrooms taste like fried plastic. The fried cauliflower was alright, but very densely breaded. The Jalapeño poppers were alright, but not impressive. Overall it was a very low quality meal. We will not order from here again. There were 6 people who weren't impressed at all... read more

I was introduced by a friend to this place. The decor isn't much but I'm there to eat and their food is excellent! Mimmie, has a large menu with affordable prices. Their food is always cooked to ordered and served hot and fresh. I have tried several different items from the menu and have not been let down! This is surprising for me as I am an extremely picky person when it comes to food. The service is friendly and makes you feel as if you are eating with friends. I ordered over 100 wings in different sauces for my boyfriends birthday party, all of the guest loved them. Perfect texture when eating them....nice and crispy! You can combine flavors to satisfy whatever your taste buds desire. Her Korean salad is to die for with a kick! Again I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. read more
