I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday for at least 10 years, and was pleasantly surprised to find one still open in Canton! After checking the website and seeing that the unlimited garden bar was still a thing I knew I had to go. We were greeted almost immediately and sat at nice table, with super comfy chairs with a VIP view of the salad bar. I opted for the cheeseburger and was delighted to see several no carb options for sides. I chose the grilled zucchini and added on the salad bar for $5.99. The salad bar was well stocked for 5:30 pm on a Friday evening, and I saw an employee regularly filling and cleaning during our visit. There were loads of veggie options including: romaine, iceberg mix, onion, carrots, mushroom, bell pepper, coleslaw etc My burger was perfectly cooked and I was able to turn it into a keto burger salad. All in all it was a great meal, filling, and Mei was an amazing server. 5 stars!!

Wonderful lunch after a nice time golfing glad we stopped in. The salad bar was delicious and well stocked. Our server was kind and we had an enjoyable lunch. Bathrooms were clean and we left feeling very full. Thank you to the staff!

In recent months I have been more willing to revisit classic chain restaurants than I have in previous years. I think part of it is genuine curiosity to assess the quality of the meals, while the other is me feeling nostalgic for the days when I would dine in such establishments with my family. I will admit that a driving factor for me to come to Ruby Tuesday was their famous salad bar. As soon as I walked near the entrance I was met with the melody from "Hold Me Now" by Thompson Twins, which took me to a happy place instantly. The actual restaurant looked fine on the inside, and I think the lack of diners made it feel more spacious as well as peaceful. I could tell some of the upholstery at the booths were worn down and probably haven't been updated in years. They were understaffed at this particular time of the day, but the service here was very good for the most part except when it came time to actually cash out. The menus have a ton of pictures which many consider to be tacky, but I find it charming. I personally like seeing what my food might look like before commiting to it, so I had no problem with it. I decided to go with crab cakes with a side of tater tots because the menu was too big and I just figured "screw it". Before that I did request to have the salad bar option for an additional $5.99, which is not bad at all since you can fill your plate as much as you want. The plates for the salad bar are quite small. You have to get creative with how you stack your ingredients to get the most out of it. I was a little disappointed with the salad bar as some of the ingredients were obviously not fresh (most notably the spring mix, which had some wilted and moist leaves that I made sure to avoid). Aside from that the salad I prepared for myself was very good and the brown croutons at the very end of the bar are a must-have. As for my actual entree...that was the weakest aspect of my experience. Between the tater tots and the crab cakes, it was the former I enjoyed way more. The cakes themselves are quite small, very thin and they only give you 2 of them (roughly $20 altogether with my side). To be honest it's probably a blessing I only had the 2 cakes because they were obviously frozen patties likely made with low quality canned crab meat. That isn't to say I'm surprised, but the crust was burnt on mine and it left a weird after taste. Thankfully the exceptional tartar sauce helped me get through them, but again those tater tots were much better, and definitely saved my meal. So overall my trip to Ruby Tuesday was so and so. It's not a bad option, but there are better options available in that area especially.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

I motioned my wife to enter as she has a hard time with stairs and was willing to wait until 10 AM, but came at my bidding. My wife order the Carne Asada fries and a fountain Coke. She love the fries. I ordered a double cheeseburger slider with bacon ( about $5 ) with grilled onions as standard. The bacon was PERFECT!! Chewy, but fully done; no white fat but opaque fully cooked! Awesome burger. 9 out of 10. I also ordered a raspberry shake. It was good ( 6 out of 10 ) and shared it with my wife. Maybe I am spoiled by super sweet chocolate shakes from White Castle. A pricey over $6. Perhaps skip this one or try a malt. I also ordered Chili Cheese Fries. Bless her heart, Ray cooked mine to perfection, well done fries, melted real sliced American cheese, and she put my chili in a side bowl as requested so I could dip the cheese covered ones on the chili ( I stirred in their hot sauce) and the few uncovered fries, dipped into my raspberry shake. Amazingly delicious. 10 out of 10 for each item: crinkle cut fries, coney beef chili ( NO BEANS!!! ) , and great cheese. Chili should NEVER HAVE BEANS!!! Finally I split a deep fried churro un-filled with cinnamon sugar. 7 out of 10. We took most of that home and I ate some during this review. One silly tiny note. The one unisex bathroom ( the restaurant only has 21 stool seats ) had only one working light bulb in the fixture out of 2 or 3. It was very dim like a seedy bar. I told Ray so hopefully it gets fixed soon. If that last bulb goes in there, I hope whoever is in there has their cellphone flashlight working. Finally the overall vibe is stainless steel lunch counter ( 1950's? ) with a deep kitchen. Seven short stools facing the street, Nine facing the kitchen and a very small tall table with Five matching tall stools. That lone table could be crowded with two customers food, but five? Better only have a beverage and one item, and that would be elbow to elbow. Shout out to Detroit Food Review for his October 3, 2025 review for here. That is how we found it. They do have a drive through if you do not want to climb the three stairs or use the ramp or if the restaurant is full inside.

The restaurant is on an extremely busy four lane divided highway/street and this restaurant is next to a La-Z-Boy store (to help you spot it). The great news is there is a lot of free and convenient parking at the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, it is a very open floor plan. While there are many TV screens for those sitting near the bar area, it is not disruptive to those in the dining area. The ambiance is casually upscale and pleasant. The outdoor patio areas were closed off due to the hot summer temperatures. There is also a large covered patio-like area where it did not seem that people were seated (or very few). I believe that dogs are allowed there year-round, though there weren't any dogs there during our visit. When the weather is better, dogs are also allowed on the outdoor patio. My friend and I were seated in a comfortable booth and were promptly greeted by our server. My friend is gluten and dairy free and our server was very knowledgeable on how to accommodate these sensitivities. We both ordered the Tuscan Chicken Entrees - I had mine with green beans and mashed potatoes; my friend's sides were broccoli and tater tots. Our server was overall appropriately attentive. My friend found the chicken entree too peppery and I found mine edible but on the edge of being too salty. The chicken was topped with artichoke hearts and feta, which could account for some saltiness. If I came here again, I would probably order something else. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, though it's not anyplace I would run back to. It was a good experience overall, but not for foodies. It's a sports bar that tries hard to be and overall succeeds in being a decent dining experience.
