We stopped here to celebrate after getting some good, medical news. We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and we were waited on quickly. The problem was with our drinks. We both ordered Jack Daniels and water. For some unknown reason, the bartender put the shot and the water into a cocktail shaker and mixed our drinks. That was totally unnecessary. When we were given our tab, we were stunned that we were charged one price for the drink and added price for mixing them! My husband and I stopped at a restaurant for dinner that had an hour wait. We left and decided to find another place to eat. As we drove we saw a sign for Ruby Tuesday's. Neither of us had been there in years, so we decided to try it. I called them to ask about the wait time, and they said there was no wait, so that was a bonus. New management and you can tell! My wife and I visited this location six months ago with a terrible experience. We decided to give it another try...thankfully we did! Nadia is an amazing server who cares about her customers. The bartender was flawless and worked very hard to make customers happy. The food was spot on...exactly what we were looking for! We asked to see a manager to offer thanks and it is clear this place has improved immensely under an actual leader who knows how to effectively run a bar/grill. We will be visiting again soon! Service was terrible! Seated right away, sat for 12 minutes before officially acknowledged. Manager walked past our table twice and never gave us a second thought. Waitress from adjoining section told us that she would get our server. Waiter finally came over and told us he would be with us in a minute. Another 5 minutes later we walked out! On the way out manager was a smart**s! We normally would not have waited the initial 12 minutes but we did not want to embarrass our guests! Here's the kicker......we were only one of 9 guests/patrons in the restaurant! This place is completely scatter brained. Way too many managers working and communications were crossed and nothing got done. The hostess, some tall guy with glasses, didn't acknowledge us at all at first and we were the only people in the waiting area. Then he tried to sit up in this tight table in the corner and we had 2 tall guys and me on crutches. We then had to wait forever to get a table cleaned off. When we finally got sat down our drinks took forever. I had no clue who worked there because no one had a name tag on or had any kind of consistent uniform. Service is soooo slow. We have gone twice (I wanted to give it a second chance) and the kitchen is so slow! The waitstaff seems to be completely new. We waited a long time to get refills and our waitress was very absent. We didn't leave a tip, that's how disappointed we were. Went here for lunch with my boyfriend while visiting from Canada. Terrible service, salad bar was messy and cross contaminated, dishes were dirty. Not pleased with this location. When we walked into the lobby of the restaurant, there were 5 wait staff standing at the hostess desk. Not one of the staff said hello, instead opted to argue in front of us regarding who should be cut first. The bar area was filthy, and the tables were covered in salad remenants. Underneath all of the tables were littered with food. We ordered a quesadilla and waited over a half hour without receiving it. We let the bartender know and the manager was sent over. She proceeded to inform us that the order was put in but given to someone else. We won't be returning to this establishment! read more

DON"T get a lobster tail!!! Very disappointed tonight with my meal. I ordered the shrimp, fish, and lobster tail combo. It was disgusting. The lobster tail felt like mashed potatoes. I asked for a new one. The waitress was very nice and actually embarrassed by what was served to me. The manager came to the table and said he was sorry and would bring out a new one. When the waitress brought out the new one I could tell by her face that it was not good. It was just as horrible as the one I sent back. The manager apologized and took it off my bill. I am not sure why he would let them serve me a second gross lobster tail. He did not do anything to correct the problem in the kitchen. I'm sure that this happened to other people too. Although, I've always been a fan of Ruby Tuesday recently I've noticed a big change in the food quality. Everything used to be so fresh and lately everything from the salad bar to the steak tastes like its been sitting out for a while. Service is always delightful. We usually sit at the bar and enjoy prompt service and fantastic conversation. One other thing I've noticed is how terrible the music has gotten! I know I'm at Ruby Tuesday and I certainly don't need The Rolling Stones to remind me of that every 15 minutes. I really think that there should be a better/more vast selection of music because there's no need for anyone to hear the same song twice in the matter of an hour visit. read more

Ruby Tuesday is great! Wonderful management and super friendly servers work here at the Canton location. Fabulous well stocked salad bar and croutons are to die for. I used to LOVE their salad bar and we went here often. Their salad bar is not the same and now they charge for it even with a meal. It used to have dishes in ice and was attractive. Not anymore. They reduced the choices. We commented to the waitress and she replied that she heard that a lot, mostly from people who haven't been there in awhile. Portions are VERY SMALL. Used to be #1 for their delicious turkey burgers on the pretzel rolls -- now they are served on tasteless plain buns. Where did the good buns go? Went there recently for brunch since they used to have a real brunch menu. Now they only offer *very few* omelette options, only bacon, and a kids menu; calling that brunch is a total joke. What happened to brunch (pancakes, sausage, french toast, any toast)? Asked for eggs and got what looked like the burnt scrapings from the bottom of the pan. Very disappointed--the service and food quality have truly deteriorated at this location. read more

We will never eat here again. Waited forever after ordering. Only 3-4 tables of people in the whole place. Got 2 chicken finger dinners that were burnt to a crisp, sent them back, waited 30 minutes for a bowl of chicken noodle soup, 1 of us got the wrong food and it came with burnt veggies and they forgot the 2nd side item. Then completely Forgot one of our dishes all together. Manager came over after about 10 minutes, we asked to speak to him. Apologized saying new waitress. New cooks. Ok really there was only 1-2 other tables in the entire restaurant!!! Kept making excuses. THEN we go to leave and no discount. Seriously. How poor. On the way out I let him know that I thought that was ridiculous and that we would never be back. I've passed this Ruby Tuesday's numerous times. So I decided to try them out this Monday, the greeter was friendly. I sat in the bar area, and immediately saw that general house keeping was lacking......the booth I was seated at; had residual food particals on the table. The bartender was friendly and took my order, uopn my food arriving (Bacon Cheese Burger...med w/fries) I notice the burger was sitting in a pool of grease and juice from the burger.....the cook didn't allow the burger to rest before placing it on the bun, the fries where hot and seasoned correctly. After lunch I ordered dessert and coffee. When the cake was brought out I immediately notice the plate it was on... was "dishwasher dirty" i.e. the rinse film when dishes are removed from the dish washer, and not wiped off prior to using them. My overall experience was 4 out of 10..clearly the general houskeeping practices has become lax, and should be address. I would visit this location again. read more

My husband and I tried this Ruby Tuesday last night for the first time and it will definitely be the last! Our server was excellent and she was the only redeeming part of our meal. We ordered the potato chip appetizer out of curiosity and it was pretty good - strange concept but very tasty but highly overpriced. The raspberry tea was also very good but our main courses took our dining experience in a totally different direction. It took forever to get our food and when it arrived it was just plain horrible! My husband ordered the full slab of Hickory Bourbon ribs with sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli. The ribs had NO sauce, just dry and horrible! The broccoli (all four whopping florets) tasted rancid and the mashed potatoes (which I believe to be instant) were the only palatable part of his meal. He commented that he would rather eat his boot but since it was raining he needed to wear it home! My meal was not any better...I ordered the Crispy Chicken Mac 'n Cheese. A couple pieces of overcooked malnourished looking chicken fingers atop of about a cup of icky macaroni and cheese. Between the meal and the tip it was $65 of the worst money spent because when we got home, hubby had a can of soup since he was still hungry. Pass on this location. We walked in at 7:00 pm and the place was NOT crowded but tables were left filthy. They hadn't bothered to clean after the dinner rush and there were plenty of waitstaff available to clean up.
