A really great visit, everyone was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I was lucky and they were not busy when I stopped for my soup. This is my first visit to this location and my soup was great like any other location. Always love their chicken noodle soup.

I came here because I needed to get an oil change at Toyota. Bob Evans is one of the closest restaurants so I chose to come here while I waited for my car. It was about 12:45pm and only a few other tables in the restaurant. I was greeted by my server who was friendly. There were so any different options for food I didn't know what to choose! I knew for sure I wanted to try the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese so I ordered the steak because it came with both of those sides. Bread comes with the meal so I opted for the biscuits and added a cup of gravy, this I was super excited for! I got my biscuits and gravy almost immediately after I ordered. It was hot she comforting, but extremely salty. The steak with sides arrived shortly after. Again the steak was so salty, but I actually really enjoyed the potatoes. The mac and cheese tasted like wet cardboard though so I don't recommend that. After I was done the server gave me my bill and never told me you pay up front. But I'm left feeling very full and very bloated. Not the worst meal I've had.

Bob Evans is actually a pretty solid restaurant when it comes to traditional American food. As someone from California, finding a restaurant with decent traditional breakfast can be a real challenge. Their breakfast is really good! My favorite dish would have to be Homestead Breakfast. I'm a big eater, so this is the only meal for me lol. The dish comes with 3 eggs, breakfast meat of your choosing, and your choice of grits, home fries, hash browns. I always go with the grits because I love how they taste with butter in it. As for the meat, I always go with their yummy bacon. The bacon is thick cut, perfectly crispy, and isn't too salty at all. I believe you can also go with sausage patties or ham if you don't want bacon. Overall, Bob Evans is a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just come in and try it out! They have awesome customer service too!

Years ago, my parents always loved to stop and eat at restaurants that featured typical American fare. Places like Howard Johnson's and Bill Knapp's come to mind. Sadly, both of these legendary establishments in the Great Lakes Region, are now all but a fading memory in the over 30 crowd. Thankfully, Bob Evans fills this void very nicely. This Bob Evans is the go to place for a great meal with family or friends. I love their wide selection of sandwiches, and dinner entrées, which won't break your wallet. Likewise, their desert menu is fantastic. I've never had a Coconut Cream Pie from this place I didn't like. The Bob Evans on US-12 (Michigan Avenue) in Canton, is by far my favorite. Maybe that's because it's so close to my home. This probably accounts for the reason I am receiving coupons in the mail for this place all the time, which makes me go there very often. Nevertheless, I've never had a bad meal or service from this location. More importantly, the entire restaurant and restrooms are always very clean, which is a good thing in my book.

I stopped in for breakfast with mom the other day. We both ordered the border scramble, pretty tasty garnished with sour cream and jar salsa which is unfortunate. It is served with a choice of hashbrowns or home fries which were a bit undercooked. The restaurant is clean and well managed. The service was very good. I always have enjoyed Bob Evans breakfast, as well as their soups, lunch and dinner menu. The prices are a bit steep for what it is. They do however, mail out coupons and have an email club that sends offers which brings prices in a more reasonable range. All in all a decent meal was had but I really wish they would 86 that jar salsa and whip up some fresh. After all it is Bob Evans...down on the farm

Bad experience. Big fan of the biscuits and gravy, but this place managed to make me regret going, and has convinced me that I will not be frequenting this establishment ever again. Service was horrible, competence of employees is non-existent, and care for customer service is severely lacking. Went with my girlfriend, ordered 2 waters, a coffee, and small chocolate milk. The milk was half full & the coffee never came. Was told by the waitress that the coffee will be right up when she brought the other drinks so I assumed they were waiting on a brewed pot. Then the table right next to me that was sat 5 minutes after my drink order was put in received a steaming cup of Java. My waitress never returned until the food came up. When the food arrived, I said that I no longer needed the coffee and she gave me a dirty look and walked away. The food was wrong when it came out as well, and in correlation we were over-charged on our bill. Shortly after eating, prior to receiving the incorrect bill, the manager was doing her rounds to the tables asking how everything was, I said it was 'okay' but we had some issues. She said "that's good" and continued walking. Pretty comical operation. Never again.

Our waiter was Matt, who is a high energy kinda dude -- he answered questions and made recommendations. All the flavors work great and the gravy isn't too peppery (good for me, since I'm not a heat/spice gal). Also, appreciated that my scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy! Forgot to snap a pic, but we also tried the Chit-Chats (mini donuts) and they hit the spot; nice bite of sweet! Prices were also very reasonable, especially considering how much food we received. Can't wait to go back and introduce my hubby to this delicious bfast!

Management/Corporate thinks it's appropriate to have only TWO workers TOTAL during the morning at a brunch place. Yes, you read that right. Joanna and Duvall are both expected to do five people's jobs between cooking, waitressing, bartending, hostessing, and bussing/cleaning. That is beyond inappropriate to leave two hardworking people to do. I don't know or care if it's a cost cutting measure because give it til the end of the year and they won't have costs to cut because this place will be out of business from a lack of scheduling people. As someone who worked in the service industry, shame on corporate. This place has such potential in the Belleville/Van Buren area, schedule some more people and it would amazing to see the profit go up because you'd have someone consistently available to seat people, someone to consistently serve drinks/food at the bar and someone to clean/bus tables to turn around the wait the time.

This place is a nice size, they have an outside patio area for the nice days. Our waitress was super nice and on point with service. I also had a side of the collard greens that were a little too sweet for my liking and I tried a cup of the Gumbo that was very good and flavorful. My daughter got the shrimp and grits they were amazing, she also had a waffle and it was good. The waitress gave us two beignets for free since it was our first time. My daughter said they were good. There was a long line of customers, but the wait was tolerable, barely 10 minutes. The restaurant is much larger and brighter; the large windows allow in more light. Service was quick, allowing more customers to be served. My rule for dining out is to select dishes I don't make well at home due to a lack of skill or ingredients. So here, it meant a lobster omelette and pancakes. Yes, I'm a failure with pancakes, despite the numerous, numerous times I've attempted them. One, I rarely keep milk at home, and two, my pancakes tend to burn. Sigh. The pancakes here are fluffy and delicious. I even liked the fake, thick pancake syrup served here. The omelette was savory and well-prepared. My friend had the baked French Toast, which looked appetizing and dessert-like. Service was quick and responsive.

The ambience is absolutely lovely--spacious, clean, and very pleasant to sit in. The upstairs seating area is especially nice, with comfortable tables and chairs that make it a great spot to relax. They also offer a good selection of packed bakery items on display that look fresh and tempting, making it ideal for a quick grab-and-go visit. That said, the dine-in experience was let down by long wait times. I ordered a croissant and a falafel sandwich and ended up waiting significantly longer than expected, with little to no updates on my order. The ordering system--placing the order in one area and then waiting with a buzzer to collect before paying--felt somewhat inefficient, especially during off-peak hours on a weekday when the café wasn't particularly busy. In terms of food, the falafel sandwich was decent, while the croissant was just okay. Overall, the service felt slow and somewhat disorganized during this visit. I later stopped by just for grab-and-go items, and that experience was much smoother and quicker. Overall, the café has a beautiful ambience and fresh offerings, but there is definitely room for improvement in service speed and order management for dine-in items.

I enjoyed the food, but I was not a fan of the service. I won't go into details about that, but my point is I didn't want to give them business when there were plenty of bakeries I felt were more deserving of my money. But of course like many other restaurants in Dearborn they decided to open shop in Canton. Decided to give them a chance, so I ordered one item that I considered a classic item for me and one that was a relatively new addition. This led me to get a cheese and pepperoni manaeesh as well as the hot honey buffalo chicken slider (which came recommended by the cashier who claimed it was his idea). I will say I was pleased with the service here and I throughly enjoyed the food which was made fresh. My only complaint was the chicken slider was too messy and the buns barely existed so holding it was a pain. Beyond that the place looks like a typical Lebanese owned bakery which felt authentic to me. It's definitely a take out place, but you can't go wrong eating there if you don't mind the simple feel.
