A really great visit, everyone was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I was lucky and they were not busy when I stopped for my soup. This is my first visit to this location and my soup was great like any other location. Always love their chicken noodle soup.

Bob Evans is actually a pretty solid restaurant when it comes to traditional American food. As someone from California, finding a restaurant with decent traditional breakfast can be a real challenge. Their breakfast is really good! My favorite dish would have to be Homestead Breakfast. I'm a big eater, so this is the only meal for me lol. The dish comes with 3 eggs, breakfast meat of your choosing, and your choice of grits, home fries, hash browns. I always go with the grits because I love how they taste with butter in it. As for the meat, I always go with their yummy bacon. The bacon is thick cut, perfectly crispy, and isn't too salty at all. I believe you can also go with sausage patties or ham if you don't want bacon. Overall, Bob Evans is a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just come in and try it out! They have awesome customer service too!

Years ago, my parents always loved to stop and eat at restaurants that featured typical American fare. Places like Howard Johnson's and Bill Knapp's come to mind. Sadly, both of these legendary establishments in the Great Lakes Region, are now all but a fading memory in the over 30 crowd. Thankfully, Bob Evans fills this void very nicely. This Bob Evans is the go to place for a great meal with family or friends. I love their wide selection of sandwiches, and dinner entrées, which won't break your wallet. Likewise, their desert menu is fantastic. I've never had a Coconut Cream Pie from this place I didn't like. The Bob Evans on US-12 (Michigan Avenue) in Canton, is by far my favorite. Maybe that's because it's so close to my home. This probably accounts for the reason I am receiving coupons in the mail for this place all the time, which makes me go there very often. Nevertheless, I've never had a bad meal or service from this location. More importantly, the entire restaurant and restrooms are always very clean, which is a good thing in my book.

I stopped in for breakfast with mom the other day. We both ordered the border scramble, pretty tasty garnished with sour cream and jar salsa which is unfortunate. It is served with a choice of hashbrowns or home fries which were a bit undercooked. The restaurant is clean and well managed. The service was very good. I always have enjoyed Bob Evans breakfast, as well as their soups, lunch and dinner menu. The prices are a bit steep for what it is. They do however, mail out coupons and have an email club that sends offers which brings prices in a more reasonable range. All in all a decent meal was had but I really wish they would 86 that jar salsa and whip up some fresh. After all it is Bob Evans...down on the farm

Bad experience. Big fan of the biscuits and gravy, but this place managed to make me regret going, and has convinced me that I will not be frequenting this establishment ever again. Service was horrible, competence of employees is non-existent, and care for customer service is severely lacking. Went with my girlfriend, ordered 2 waters, a coffee, and small chocolate milk. The milk was half full & the coffee never came. Was told by the waitress that the coffee will be right up when she brought the other drinks so I assumed they were waiting on a brewed pot. Then the table right next to me that was sat 5 minutes after my drink order was put in received a steaming cup of Java. My waitress never returned until the food came up. When the food arrived, I said that I no longer needed the coffee and she gave me a dirty look and walked away. The food was wrong when it came out as well, and in correlation we were over-charged on our bill. Shortly after eating, prior to receiving the incorrect bill, the manager was doing her rounds to the tables asking how everything was, I said it was 'okay' but we had some issues. She said "that's good" and continued walking. Pretty comical operation. Never again.

To begin with, the experience starts before you can get both feet in the door. Being new, Alexis greeted us as if we were new found cousins. Quaint, yet classy, with decor that reflects the warmth of the establishment as a whole. Very clean. Pimp had the Pork Chop dinner with cabbage and collard greens. I had the Catfish with greens and yams. All I can say is ...... who big maw back there putting the foots in them greens??? Everything was impeccable. The wait was ..... wellllll. It was well worth it. What amazed me more than the food was how nearly everyone who walked through that door was GREETED BY NAME. 30 minute drive from my home. We will be back.

Next, we ordered the shrimp po boy , sampler with yams, collards, Mac, mashed potatoes and gravy and cornbread. Amazing. The collards are the best I've had and yams had the perfect spices. We splurged on bean pie for dessert. Do not pass this up. It's unexpected and creamy. We will put this spot on heavy rotation.

We came on a Wednesday evening and I was so shocked to find the parking lot so full! And walking in, I was just as shocked to see how big this place was on the inside. Plenty of seating for sure! Of course we had reservations so that was nice and probably highly recommended. We enjoyed the bread and butter provided to the table as we mingled. They even had gluten free bread ($5 extra). We all ordered a variety of foods. I ordered the waygu meatloaf with mashed potatoes & string beans and it was really enjoyable. It was like eating an elevated home-cooked meal. Everybody was genuinely satisfied. And they provide separate checks so that was also a nice addition to our evening.

Husband and SIL both ordered the cowboy pork chop and both disliked the overwhelmingly sweet taste. It is served with a bacon-onion jam and must have also been rubbed with a very sweet seasoning. They asked the waiter what was rubbed on it and he did not know. He said he would ask the kitchen but never got back with an answer. They would not order the pork, again. Daughter's French onion soup was tasty. My shrimp and scallop Angelina was under seasoned and the sauce was a bit watery. Pasta did not seem house made. The shrimp and scallops were tasty. Appetizers were good. We had baked mozzarella sticks, which essentially tasted like mini Stromboli and crab dip, which was fine. Bread service with butter was delicious. Grand daughter's spaghetti and meatball was good, although the meatball was enormous, rather hard, and not kid friendly. Service was fine. We were not offered dessert. Drinks were very good. The atmosphere was nice, however, not especially family friendly. Most diners were a bit older. Next time, we probably would not bring the grandchildren along. Overall, we were a little disappointed in our experience but may give Karl's another try someday.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.
