Dinner salad
Tara K.

We were feeling like steak for our Valentine's dinner, everyplace was booked in advance. We decided on an early dinner, I reserved a place in line before we left the house. We only waited 10 min before we got our table. I work in the food service industry, I was really impressed by the staff, it seemed to be a well oiled machine. They got us in and out quick and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a house marg beer and fried pickles to start. Those came out quickly. The Margarita was decent and was only $5. The basket of fried pickles was really full and had ranch and a Cajun sauce. We both ordered ribeye steaks with baked potatoes and salad. The salads were fresh and the rolls were reliably yummy and warm. The ribeyes were delicious and cooked perfectly. Mariah was our server, she was attentive and efficient. We didn't feel rushed, but I have to say, I was so impressed that they turned the tables quick! From when we got our drinks, we had eaten and packed our leftovers in about 30 min. Impressive!

Country fried chicken w loaded potatoe

Low and behold, years later, I came back once more one weekend randomly for a date night. We sat at the bar within 3 minutes of us walking in. Our waiter was very attentive and welcoming. He brought us over some rolls and brown sugar butter. Those were quite yummy. For appetizers we got the blooming onion and twisted mozzarella sticks. Both were good, no complaints. The marinara sauce made from scratch was my favorite part. For entrees I ordered beef tips with a side of string beans and rice. My fiance ordered the country fried chicken with loaded potatoes and a cesar salad. I really enjoyed my meal. The beef tips were cooked and seasoned great and the string beans were freshly phenomenal. My fiance liked his meal as well, except the salad. It looked great but lacked major flavor. They should change whatever dressing they're using on there because its literally making the salad trash. I would say comparatively, this experience was better than the previous, minus the salad.

Catfish is always good. Salmon is excellent and per hubby the prime rib is excellent

Excellent pork BBQ. Sometimes the pork can be dry - not here. Aaron and Kim know their smoker did…read morenot disappoint. I Will definitely return to try the beef and chicken. The coleslaw is of the shredded/vinegar variety. It is a wonderful accompaniment for the pork! The menu includes creamed corn casserole - a comfort food that Grandma served. It was good, but Grandma "seasoned" hers with bacon - lots of very crispy, thick-cut bacon. I almost order the Mac & Cheese, but the recipe is creamy and I am more of a baked/firm kind'a guy. The baked beans smelled wonderful ... next time! Will I return? YES! I will probably grab a carry-out container and enjoy my BBQ in the park. Closed: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Go early. Whenever they run out, Aaron and Kim close.

I only come to Max & Bellas around once a year, but I consider it one of the best restaurants in…read moredowntown Plymouth. I don't come around often because the hours are odd (they are closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), and the meat goes fast, so by the time I get off from work, a lot of the options are sold out. The last time I was there, I was lucky enough to get the last Brisket Meal, and the guy behind me was bummed out because he wanted it too. I've tried the Dirty Rice (rice with pork, brisket, kielbasa, and chicken), Mac & Cheese, and the Brisket. I highly recommend the Brisket and Mac & Cheese. The meal comes with a pound of brisket, coleslaw, and one side. The brisket is tender, juicy, and delicious, with enough meat in the meal for 2-3 people. They also sell baby back ribs, smoked chicken, and pork shoulder.

The delicious smoked brisket sandwich is a beast--it's large, filling, and messy. You have to like…read moresauce to enjoy this, as there's a lot of it--sweet BBQ and bam bam sauce. I don't know what bam bam sauce is, but it's tasty when mixed with BBQ sauce. There are eight ounces of mostly lean brisket topped with coleslaw, loads of sauce, all on a yummy brioche bun. It's pricey, but is as filling as an entree elsewhere. You'd think I'd have a photo of the sandwich by now since I've ordered it multiple times, but each time I've devoured it before remembering I didn't take a picture. I had a very short wait and was on my way home to enjoy it, but if you want to dine in, there's a mix of high and low top tables. The restaurant is very clean, and service is always super friendly. Enjoy!

Where do I start with this place? I've been here a few times, and every single time the promised…read morewait time for takeout is a lot longer than quoted. Not five or ten minutes longer, 15-30 minutes after being quoted 30 minute on the phone, I arrive in 30 and they lie to me that it's five minutes longer only to sit in the lobby and wait another 15-20 minutes. This is unacceptable. Quote me an hour on the phone and I'll decide if my appetite can wait that long before I place the order, not when I get there and it's another 30 minutes of wait time. And it seems like they don't care and lie to you about needing a few more minutes when clearly they haven't even fried the ingredients. While the food is decent, it's nothing special or better than most Middle Eastern establishments. In fact I'd rate it below most other places that specialize in Middle Eastern cuisine. At least it doesn't take any other place that I frequent an hour to produce two falafel or shawarma sandwiches. The staff here is unapologetic and almost downright careless about wait times. I've got better things to do with my time than sit and wait for overpriced food that isn't ready when promised. Get it together or get out of the kitchen. Don't waste your time folks. There are plenty of choices out there that respect you as a customer. This place doesn't. Full stop.
