It's "in the middle of the road". It's just okay. The food isn't bad at all. Actually it's pretty good. It just could be a little better. If there as a little more effort put into the food and the restaurant it self. It has a home style feel to it but it's kinda dim and dark. The Chicken and Waffles were okay. 8/10. Very hot but the chicken was more tenders than country style. The syrup was also room temperature but the food was very good and hot. And actually crispy. Same with the waffle. Love this Ramshorn! Been coming here for years and never disappoints. 24 hours this place always serves great food, refreshes your coffee and drinks right when you need a refill, and food comes out in a decent time! I've tried over half the menu and love everything I've gotten. Anything from their full breakfast menu, chicken tenders and fries, salads and burgers it's all great! Typical diner style food with plenty of options. Desserts are decent, but the vanilla one lacks in amazement. Clean seating, small bathrooms, five seats at the counter, and easy quick check out process. I'll keep coming until this place closes, hidden gem!! read more

Four of us had lunch together Saturday. The waitstaff and cashier were excellent. Picture 4 of us in line to pay. As the cashier finished the 2nd trx, the manager moves her aside and proceeds with cashing out a couple, and they leave. It sounded like there was some issue and that trx took 5 mins while the rest of us are still standing there. Cashier handles the next person, then me. I asked the cashier to bring the blonde mgr. back out from the kitchen so I can speak with her. I explained that it was unprofessional to interject and leave the rest of us still standing in line and getting her select customer thru. She said she was sorry that she took X minutes of my time. Very snarky. We will never be back. On the way out my husband and DIL let them know that the bathrooms need some attention and were met with a barrage of attitude!!! read more

Manager is very unprofessional and rude. Turned away service when there were open tables in the restaurant, without attempting to accommodate any needs to get us sat and served. Will never come there again and will recommend others not too as well. read more

I've been here several times and feel like I'm now credible enough to say that this place CONSISTENTLY provides good service and fresh food. My salads have always looked and tasted fresh, the fish and skins (and other entrees) have always been freshly made. Kudos to the manager and staff here. Thank you for being so reliable. This place is okay..Over the years the service has been okay. Never outstanding. Just okay. Food is alright but their recent menu makeover doubled most of their food items. So once a cheap quick place to eat is now more pricey. Still fairly quick but it could be quicker. I like how they are open late. Thats very convenient and I wish I could give them more than 3 stars. My most recent visit however they deserve a 2. I informed the waitress I have a dairy allergy. So I cant have butter or cheese. I made this very clear so there would not be any difficulties. I ordered an omelette. NO dairy. No butter, No cheese. I made sure to say "Tell the cook I have a dairy allergy". Minutes pass and here comes our food. Two bites in.... Cheese... Sent it back.. It was correct the second time. I wonder if they used butter though because my stomach was hurting all day. She didn't even offer to take it off the bill. I know its not her fault, she did not make the omelette. But it is her responsibility to write down "allergies" or ensure the food is correct before delivering it. The Biscuits and gravy the taste just like the soup, The burger tastes like the steak, The potato skins taste like the coke, and everything on the menu tastes just like Fries. Friend and I were out and about running errands and past this place and both have not been for years since so many have closed around metro Detroit. Regardless to say decided to see what it is like now days and we were both surprised. Pulled in the lot where had plenty of parking and once walked in the door we were seated right away and brought waters. Couple minutes later waitress arrived and took our order and 10-15 minutes later we were delivered our food. Food was prepared well and tasted great. For two dinner total with tip was $22 which was amazing. Needless to say was glad stopped in and have it a try. Yucky is all I have to say about the local rams horn, I started off my meal with a terrible washed cup, it had lipstick from the previous user still on it, than she brought out my milkshake, it was poor quality and was half melted by the time she gave it to me. Food was a mess when she gave it to me it seemed to have a horrible unappealing odor. As the waitress took ten years to give me a refill...oh wait she didn't. Turns out she decided in the middle of serving me to go on break, unprofessional. I witnessed a bug on my plate and proceeded to kill it smearing it's guts on my plate I was disgusted. It took her twenty minutes after I asked for the bill for her to give it to me but I still left a tip just cause I am a nice guy. I have to start this review off with a complaint. The Imitator Burger is misnamed. It deserves a new name to reflect its real identity. My wife and I both had Imitator Burgers and fries. We both felt that the burger was misnamed. It might have started off inspired by the burger of a competing global fast food restaurant chain, but it is not an imitator. It actually surpasses that burger in some ways. Sure, it has three bun parts with two burger patties separated by one of the bun parts just like the burger which inspired it. It also has sauce like the other burger. However, the biggest difference between them is in the burger patties themselves. The burger patties of the Imitator makes the original's burger patties look thin and tasteless by comparison. The imitator has thicker, juicier and tastier burger patties. Over all, the Imitator is the better burger in terms of being filling, tasty and juicy. Ram's Horn is a place where the wife and I have been stopping in for years. We stop in for good food at decent prices at hours when other places are closed. The fact that this local fast food chain can start off making a burger inspired by a larger competitor and make it their own is one of the reasons why it is worth checking out the smaller local fast food places where ever you go, because you never know what kind of hidden jewels you might find. read more

This place is a nice diner. The menu is extensive. Their fruit cup is the best ever. The atmosphere is a little weird though.

Have never had a meal here that was not good. Parking lot is large, hostess serves you immediately, they have plenty of help to bring out drinks or coffee right away and the waitresses have always been nice. This is a favorite place for breakfast or lunch with my daughter. read more

Parking is very convenient right in front of the restaurant and there were plenty of parking spaces available. Walked in on a Sunday morning and there were quite a few people in the restaurant. For being so busy the waitstaff were very good and kept the place clean. Split one of the omelets with one of my friends, which is enough for two people! Also, my friend is a little bit older than me and she asked for a senior discount in which they gave her, so the bill was very little!!! LOVED IT.
