The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

Prices are on the lower side but the special also cuts back on portion size. Not complaining just making everyone aware. On my last visit the waitress could have been a little more upbeat. Once ordered the food came out pretty promptly but, in my opinion, could have been done better. Ordering eggs sometimes vary from what you expect to what you receive. My main issue was with the hash browns. I understand that I like my hash browns more crispy but these crossed the line. They were put on the griddle but weren't left there very long. They had a few darker spots but some of the potato in the center were still half raw. Lots of hard surfaces and everything appeared clean. As I said they've been there a while so atmosphere is homey. Not a bad place to have breakfast. It's not one of my favorites but I will go back.

I should have went with the Sunday Brunch with several offerings and made-to-order omelettes. Sunday Brunch is until 2pm which is also an available on holidays. It includes made-to-order crepes and omelettes, fruit, French toast, pancakes, chicken, eggs, dessert bar plus condiments for Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. They offer dine-in only with a purchase of a beverage for their $7 Happy Hour and Drink specials. This is available Monday - Friday 3pm-6pm. Although I was the only one waiting at the unstaffed hostess station, it took some time for my acknowledgment by a staff member to offer me seating in a booth. Seating options are traditional tables, booths, bar and patio. The service was okay once I was seated. Feliberto was a good server and kept my unsweetened tea refills coming. The ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant and a family-friendly atmosphere.

We were promptly served drinks and a waitress came by and asked if we needed more time to figure out what we wanted. We said yes. After a few minutes she came back and took our order. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. The appetizers must have been done with the Star Trek hydrator, it came out that fast. The appetizer was good but before we could finish putting some of it on our plates the two dinners came out. I fully believe that they have Star Trek equipment in the kitchen. They are that fast. Food quality and quantity were both good. Presentation was also good. Prices seemed reasonable. A fair amount of customers came in and others weee leaving. You could tell by the dress and mannerism's in that they were locals. Noise level (which for us is a deal breaker) was not loud. So let's recap: clean bright atmosphere with views of the outside, good food, which was made and came out by some sort of futuristic equipment, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. So what do I think. Give me a minute to process all this . . . . . OK, we will go back. Certainly not fine dining but if you want good food in a good atmosphere go here.

But its nowhere near worn out. Staff was friendly and offered me a complimentary drink while I waited. They were backed up on pizza orders. After eating one. I get it. You might have to wait a little bit for your pizza, as others have noted. But, in this case... I wouldn't fault 'em for it.
