The tots were unique and amazing. There were so many appealing and one of a kind type things on the menu that we are definitely going back. Now for the quibbles which hopefully the owners will address. 1) The menu board is jammed and so hard to read. The handwriting on some parts is not legible. 2) Both our buns (pretzel on the chicken and brioche on the smash) were cold despite clearly being on the flat top. It seemed like the buns went from the fridge to the griddle. As my better half commented "if you're going to call yourself Smokin' Buns, you can't have cold buns."

I wanted to try the Blueberry Smash Burger, and I loved it!! The sweetness of the blueberry to set off the spicy jalapeño...yum! There was an error in the charge for the Pit Mac, but it was quickly rectified. We will be back (and next time I'll take photos)!

The website is user friendly and simple to use. We ordered a 10 pc boneless with the hot bbq sauce. Wanted to play it safe and it was great. There were a several large pieces, it felt like a really good value. Plus, the boneless wings were good. Juicy and the right meat to beading ratio. Mozzarella sticks and curly fries were nothing special, the basic ones you get anywhere, but they were cooked right and exactly what we wanted. We got the steak sandwich. It was really good. Could be a meal, but we split it so we could get wings too. We will order again when I get the taste for wings.

I am not a huge fried chicken guy... so this place hasn't really been on my hit list…read more My fiancee however is a huge chicken girl, so for dinner one night she took us to Ma Lou's. Let me tell you how sad I was that I had waited this long to try out the place... we were greeted like we had been there many times. We ordered a ton of food to sample. She got the basic chick with bacon and no mayo, because she can't handle spice. The sandwich was HUGE. She couldn't finish it all in one sitting. But she loved every bite. She actually said she would come back JUST for the sweet potato fries, because they were so good. I got the white trash fries to go with my Mac Smasher... the fries were decent. The Mac Smasher though was amazing. I had my whole double while at the table. I even ordered one 2 weeks later when i left the state as my goodbye meal. We tried the mac and cheese and the collard greens. She said that the mac and cheese was the best she had ever had at a restaurant. Collard greens were tasty and had chunks of meat in it. I tried (the next day mind you, because we were stuffed) some of the wings with their medium sauce. Even reheated they were moist and properly cooked.... This was a 5 star experience, and had a 5 star leftover experience. Amazing all the way around.

Following dinner, my husband left his iPad. My husband is a musician and uses the iPad for all his music gigs so this was understandably a significant loss. After nearly 4 weeks of searching and tearing the car apart we had finally decided he had lost it for good, probably set it on the roof of the car and drove off, we figured. In a last desperate attempt to avoid another expense, we called Broasted Brothers to see if they had found it, expecting nothing. Dear reader, they had kept it locked in the cash drawer for a month waiting for us to return. I actually cried when they told us they had it. 10/10. Their staff are not only kind and efficient but wonderfully honest, decent people. I picked it up the next day, and it was in perfect condition. I recommend Broasted Brothers to all my friends and family. I have now had birthdays there with parties of 8-10 and have never been disappointed. Cannot recommend this place more highly.
