I visited this restaurant in the afternoon after noticing its strong online reviews. The ordering process is straightforward: customers place and pay for their order at the counter, and the staff brings the food to the table when it is ready. I ordered one of their signature items, the Barbecue Chicken Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were prepared as described, and the chicken filling was flavorful and well-cooked. While the quality was good, I was personally undecided about the combination of barbecue flavor on top of an egg roll. I also ordered a fountain soda, which unfortunately had an off taste. It seemed as though the fountain machine may have needed cleaning, as the flavor appeared mixed with other beverages. The restaurant was very quiet during my visit, with only one other customer dining while I was there. Seating consisted of standard flat-top and high top tables, and the service was professional and courteous. The dining area and restrooms were both clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience was positive. Although I was not completely sold on the egg rolls, I would consider returning in the future when I am back in the area to try one of their sandwiches or bowls. read more

The company refused to remake a sandwich that has lettuce on it during this parasite epidemic. I was told that I could pay 50% for another sandwich but they would not remake it for free. The young man stated that their lettuce is safe. There is no way they could know that. To risk your customers health and try to charge them more is insane. Clearly, they feel one customer is not going to make or break their business. We just moved in the area and enjoyed the food but since our health and money does not matter our family will no longer patronize their business and will encourage others in our community to no longer do so. read more

I liked it better than the hubs did. People were super friendly. I love sauce. Lots and lots of sauce. I think that's why I liked it better than my husband did. I got the saucy almond chicken and got rice and fries rather than rice and veg. I also got a side of terrific garlic sauce. I was happy but wow, so much food! My husband got the poppers. I only like the cream cheese stuffed ones, so I was not a fan, but I did not pick. He liked them, at least. He followed with bbq chicken eggrolls, which he was not a fan of. He was not expecting ground chicken at all. He thought it was too much sauce and just not his thing teally. This is really mostly a take out place. It's not really set up well for dine in. It was hard to eat with just plastic forks, etc. It is super clean and nice looking, though. We just felt like we were intruding. As this was his pick, he felt like his friend should have been more explicit, but that takeout wouldn't have changed his overall review. I'd give a four. Cool concept! Big Moe's Kitchen has a cool vibe and yummy comfort foods. The staff seemed hard-working and looked like master chef's back there preparing orders. Open kitchen concepts are super inviting as they allow you more insight into who is preparing your food. This restaurant is located in a tiny strip of crowded stores. The parking lot seemed to handle the constant traffic flow well. Inside, there is plenty of seating. There were a few families dining in, but plenty also carried out. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl to go. It comes with jalapenos, which I asked to be nixed. They were there anyway. It was a little difficult to pick them out being dosed in sauce. They mixed in with everything else. There was a good amount of shrimp in the bowl, which made me happy. This bowl is $19, and I'd have to say that it's worth it. Other bowls vary in cost according to the main protein. The shrimp were coated in a Thai sauce, according to the menu. They were fresh, cooked well and delicious. Other bowl ingredients included peppers, onion, mushroom, corn, lettuce, and tomato. The entire concoction was slathered with bambam sauce and house ranch. I swear that if I read the entire list of ingredients, I would have passed on ordering it. However, I am happy that I did. It was so so good! Also on the menu are chicken, brisket, and steak bowls, among a few other proteins. Big Moe's crafts subs, sandwiches, loaded fries, wraps, salads, and a few other popular options, such as chicken wings. Service was good and fast. This small BBQ place in a strip mall. Has a moderate bbq menu- heavy on the brisket. They also have shrimp and chicken. I got a brisket sandwich on toasted roll with slaw on the sandwich and a side of fries. My friend got a brisket bowl -rice, brisket, slaw, bambam and BBQ SAUCE. She took half home. I couldn't quite finish my sandwich it was huge. The staff is friendly and helpful. The brisket was a little tough for me. The place only has a few tables and could use a mopping on the floor. Big Moe's is one of my favorite places. First it's always clean & bright with good music & an awesome vibe. Al, Moe and the rest of the family are such good people. Their food is unique and always the freshest ingredients & bold flavors all made with love & care. Some of our favorite items here are the garlic cilantro fries, they are my absolute favorite fries of all time and their ranch is perfection. I CRAVE their subs! I usually get the Chicken sub with extra cheese but also love their Chicken Sizzle sub when I want it spicy. My Daughter swears by their Shrimp Sizzle Sub and she is picky about her shrimp. The bang bang shrimp is not the usual popcorn shrimp but instead jumbo & freshly breaded. The brisket is also some of the most tender smokiest brisket around. Boneless wings & tenders and all sauces are wonderful as well. Great people, delicious food!! 10/10 read more

Every meal I've ever had from this place is absolutely on point! I usually go with a rice bowl, cilantro fries, or bbq chicken rolls but this time I ordered the almond chicken plate. It's not an item I would typically pick from a place that isn't strictly Chinese food but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It was loaded with a variety of veggies, yellow rice, a delicious cream sauce, and the chicken was crispy, juicy and not greasy at all. It's definitely a different flavor profile than a traditional almond chicken from a Chinese restaurant but honestly I prefer this version so much more and the portions are so big you can feed at least 3 people with this one bowl. First time stopping in here, what a hidden gem! The facility is clean and modern with a great view of the food prep, and the staff is very friendly. I got the smoked brisket bowl, it was amazing!!!! The flavors and textures all melted into one and it was seriously one of the best bowl type meals I've ever had. The brisket was flavorful moist and tender, the fried onions were perfect fried and just the right thickness, the combo of the bambam sauce and the bbq sauce was fire as well and to top it off the portions are ridiculous, my one bowl is probably enough for 3 meals for me. I was out shopping with my sisters just down the street at "Big Blue" and we wanted lunch but the Swedish meatball line was just too long. We searched for BBQ and Big Moe's came up. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice for lunch. Big Moe's is not necessarily a BBQ place, as I would say the menu is more Mediterranean . But my sister's and I all chose the BBQ brisket sandwich. But of course, we all ordered it slightly different. And the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding to make sure each of is was happy. The food is made to order and it came out hot and looked great on the plate. Sorry, no pix as I dug right in! The fries are crispy and perfectly done. We also got the BBQ Chicken Eggrolls, which are delicious too. Such a great twist on what everybody loves. As we were finishing up my sister commented "too bad there isn't one closer to home". Ordered Francisco chicken sub with fries, dragon chicken wrap and bbq egg rolls. $39 + $5 tip. The sub was the only part of this meal that was enjoyable. The dragon chicken wrap was recommended and we weren't a fan. It was bland and we said no tomatoes but got plenty. The egg rolls were over cooked and extremely loaded with BBQ sauce. My bill was wrong and had to get corrected when I arrived. Tip- Double check your order and receipt. Even more, was told 20 mins but ended up taking 40 mins. Four of us, plus our 3-year-old granddaughter had dinner at Big Moe's new restaurant in Canton near Haggerty and Cherry Hill. We found the staff eager to help explain the menu, which is quite eclectic with touches of pan-Asian, Lebanese and American cuisines. The best dish on our table was the Korean Bowl, which is based on the idea of bibimbap with Korean-spiced beef. In fact, it's not bibimbap, which is famous for its crispy-rice at the bottom of a stone bowl and a variety of toppings. And it's not exactly Korean beef, either. But it is delicious, including a fried egg on top. The same could be said of other dishes we tried. The barbecued egg rolls are heaving on American barbecue sauce, again quite tasty but not exactly the egg roll nor the barbecue we know from other dishes. The Lebanese Fattoush salad is exactly what the name led us to expect. There's also a sort Michigan-themed "Amy's Salad," which we enjoyed as well. We tried the Thai-themed shrimp, which did not remind us of any Thai food we know (and there's a long tradition of great Thai food in Canton). However it was tasty, as well, a sort of fried shrimp doused with Bam Bam sauce. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. The staff was very helpful. We took home some left overs, too.
