Its nothing fancy but I love the lunch salad bar for $7.99 We walk in, order salad bar, get a drink, eat at our leisure, get our bill and out the door in 30 mins. Whats not to love?? I stopped in here with the family while visiting Big Rapids. We were seated quickly. Our server, Jeff, did an excellent job. I was impressed to get such good service at a place like Ruby Tuesday and on a Saturday evening, no less. I had the salad bar. You can't go wrong with all the fresh salad fixings. What a dump! The carpet was sticky, the tables gummy, no crackers, no soup plates and my 18 year old was afraid to use the bathroom it was dirty. Add that to a very young manager/server who referred to us as "we" the whole time . Never again! read more

I had a terrible experience with Ruby Tuesdays this evening. To start they refused to accommodate for the dish changed. I was not to upset about this because my request was a bit unusual. I proceeded to order a ribeye steak which was 12 oz for $24.99. I feel this is a decent price for a 12 oz ribeye as long as it is cooked well. This was the case. The ribeye was tender and well cooked. However, if you like any type of seasoning on your steak I would not suggest getting a steak from this establishment. My wife ordered the chicken tenders and they were way over cooked. The chicken was really dry. This place must be afraid of seasoning because the fries are really bland. A friend of mine got the chicken parm and had the same problem. The chicken was over done. luckily it was salvaged with the red sauce and cheese they put on top of the chicken. However, he was displeased with the pasta due to the blandness of the sauce. It was unseasoned and was basically just tomato juice. The last member of our group got a burger and was very pleased with their meal. If you must eat here I would suggest getting a burger. This was a sad experience as my wife and I regularly choose this establishment as our date night restaurant. read more

Terrible service. Waitress charged us for loaded philly sandwich. Ordered philly with peppers and mushrooms. Half of philly with NO cheese. No peppers or mushrooms on sandwich. Spoke to waitress regarding order. She started we don't do peppers unless you get onions. I had same sandwich two weeks ago. Came as ordered with peppers. Waitress avoided our table. Did not offer a second drink. Diet Coke. Did NOT offer a box to go nor did she offer au juice to go. read more

This was my second experience at a Ruby Tuesday's and unfortunately i was not impressed. The service was good, the decor was good, the drinks were great, but the food was pretty bad. My skewered shrimp was WAY undercooked, and my friend eating with me ordered a quesadilla with salsa on the side, and found a penne pasta piece in the bottom of the salsa dish. That kind of ruined the meal for the both of us. I don't plan on returning to this chain anytime soon. read more

WORST food EVER! Fish was recooked and the asparagus was no where near fresh. Asparagus had brown grease dripping from it. I see why they close early on a Saturday. Hopefully, they revamp their food preparation. 1 star only because I had to choose one to post a comment. read more

My wife and I made a "School Night" pit stop here after gettin' the groceries at Meijer right across the parking lot, We were pleasantly surprised to see our new "favorite" Bartender Keri working , who actually remembered us from our last trip a few weeks ago. Must be I'm the only one who orders J&B scotch! We both enjoyed our food. My wife had the Chicken Broccoli Pasta and I had The Cajun Chicken Sandwich and we added the salad bar . This was my first time at a Ruby Tuesday. Our waitress was great but the service was extremely slow. We sat down and ordered then waited around 30 minutes to get our appetizers. By then we had 5 minutes to eat our appetizers before our meals came out, Almost all of our vegetables were undercooked, but the steak was still delicious. We waited a little longer before getting our dessert but when it came out, the ice cream on the apple crumble was almost entirely melted. On the other hand, the chocolate cake was amazing. Overall, the trip took us close to an hour and a half before we were back on the road. Not sure if I would consider coming back though. read more

Wow, our meals were great, and priced right! I had one of their signature items, a turkey burger with avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Fantastic! It came with your choice of sides, I had onion rings which were excellent. And, it was only $8.95. My wife had their soup and salad bar. She really appreciates that there's still great all-you-can-eat salad bar available. Most restaurants have long abandoned salad bars. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chicken noodle soup was full of chunky pieces of chicken. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. We will return to a Ruby Tuesday restaurant anytime we get a chance. We live in Hawaii and there's none on our island, I wish there were. read more

My husband and I wanted to take my parents and my grandfather out for a special meal, and they suggested Ruby Tuesday's. I enjoyed the heck out of it. The salad bar was fresh and delicious and we'll stocked. I had the grilled salmon,and it was perfectly flaky, moist, and delicious. The service was very good. I love college town waitstaff because they run their tails off for good tips. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the seating arrangement was crowded. You couldn't possibly seat every table and have any room for servers to move. Also my husband's steak was bland when it was supposed to be blackened. All in all a great place to eat. read more

The service at this Ruby Tuesday was excellent. I called to make a reservation and Sam answered the phone right away and was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fairly clean but could've used some work on making things look better. The theming was very bland. Despite the appearance, the staff was so friendly and bubbly. Marissa the server was great! The menu did have way too many choices. The food came out fast and was delicious. I had the smokehouse burger. Definitely worth the price. The staff made me feel super welcomed and was more than happy to assist me with any needs I had. I will definitely be coming back! read more

My experience at Ruby Tuesday was beyond substantial. When calling to make a reservation the phone was answered after one ring, and the staff member who answered was very helpful. The staff even helped me surprise my friend with a free birthday sundae. The hostess was very welcoming and let us chose where we wanted to sit. After being seated the waitress and her trainee took our drink orders and came back later to take our meal orders. Both the waitress and her trainee were very nice and exuberant. The only thing that stood out was that none of the staff were wearing nametags. Our food was delivered in a timely fashion and was very well cooked. I haven't had such a delicious burger in a while. Finally, the waitress asked if I wanted a refill and took my glass away and then came back with a new glass and also a birthday sundae for my friend, in which he was very excited. The only downfall about my experience was that the entire restaurant seemed to be slimy and dirty. Overall the service and quality of food was outstanding, which is why I would come back again. read more

Ireally do not understand the negative reviews here. Maybe our group justhas been very lucky, but we have never had a bad meal(any of us) herein 6 years attending. Yes, we have to drive over an hour to big rapids and we "meet up", as we all come from different directions. but saladbar has gotten more options in last 2 years always fresh....we all hadever their dry rub ribs or a steak dinner. every over done) my "ONLY suggestion, is the menu is so confusing since they changed it...6 people atour table, and after rereading "choices", as (some meals came with oneside, and some came with 2 choices. We are not stupid people, but, Iwas "tired of explaining side options top the other 5 members of our group I "was here to "relax"! Damn!...They should "redo the menu" and list "one choices all together, then "follow with entrees that include "2 choices...Instead the entrees are all "over the huge menu". Crazy, whoever design their menu! At least our "young college server was "very patientand a real sweetie". Everyone is always great at this location, or "e are just "lucky?" I believe restrurant was clean, good staff, etc....we dogo during off hours before the evening rush though(smart move anywhere)...drinks, as in all restrurants are "over priced and lacking any alcohal...I guess thats the new "norm" unless you are at a "real bar up northsomewhere"...lol read more

Gross. Salad bar had food spilled all over & mixed with other selections and all over the floor. Long black hair in the macaroni salad. Servers just wiped the stuff off the tables and onto the floor. Server was more interested in watching the bar TV. Gave the server a coupon with credit card and did not deduct it. Other servers standing around while many tables needed cleaning. Hamburgers were ok, but just not worth being there. read more

It's a pretty sad start to a restaurant experience when you are sat at a table and sit there for 15 minutes while seeing several tables who were just sat get service right away, and to see 5 different staff members walk past your table multiple times without any acknowledgement. The restaurant was not busy at this time. I really don't see how one table can be overlooked for so long with plenty of employees in the area. Someone should have asked us if we had been helped. We will be avoiding the Ruby Tuesday in Big Rapids from now on. read more

My husband and I were in big Rapids on vacation. We came to this Ruby Tuesday's twice. The first time we had a super young waitress that was not even 21 I ordered a cucumber drink that was supposed to be a special. The waitress kept coming back and telling us that some of the ingredients they were still looking for. About 20 minutes later she comes back and says we're all out of the ingredients to make your cocktail. The waitress herself was super nice but very inexperienced. I went ahead and ordered a margarita. When it came time to check out I asked her if there was a manager on duty. She said yes would you like to see him. I asked her if she told him about my drink. She said yes do you want to see him and I said no I don't have to but... she got the message and did give me the margarita free. The next time we went in there we sat in the bar. It was just ridiculous everyone that worked there including the manager looked maybe the oldest was 25-28. At one time I counted six servers standing around just talking visiting laughing. The bartender was also our server and she was nice enough. At one time she climbed on top of the counter behind the bar and walked along it to get to the cupboards. I am sure OSHA would love to see that. It was very dangerous and she could have fallen any second. This was a Friday night and sadly they were not busy at all. But I can see why this place needs a new manager. read more
