The prices of food and drinks here is outrageous overpriced. For two people to eat it was over $50.00. Portions are extremely small for the price. It was tasty. Poor clerk had trouble getting the order right but finally did. Not recommending due to the cost. read more

Stopped by for a quick breakfast while in Big Rapids. Promptly greeted by a smiling employee, asked up front if I had rewards with them, took my order. Did I tip today? Yes, she deserved it! Not often do you see such kindness at a fast casual. Food came up quickly, they called my name and the gal in the kitchen and told me to have a nice day. When leaving, same gal at the front cash register smiled and also wished me a nice day. Restaurant was very clean! Food was hot and quality. Much better than the Knapp Corner location in Grand Rapids; they should send their management to this location to learn what employees should be like and how to clean a restaurant. Too much chipotle sauce on the sandwiches and they were Soggy, not enough meat and the service was slow.

I ordered the green goddess Cobb salad with no egg and extra onion. I got it and it had no chicken and no onion and had egg. I called up to make sure nothing changed with what was supposed to come on it and let them know. Took about 5 calls before someone answered and the person that answered didn't even know and had to ask someone else. 3 employees finally agreed chicken should have came on it - no one offered to remake it or me to bring it back or a free one next time nothing. Panera Bread has raised their prices through the roof and shrunk their portions to half. I ordered a U Pick 2 - Tuna sandwich and chicken noodle soup. The soup had next to nothing in it and the sandwich had no more than an ounce. I complained to the manager and she insisted that they were to Corporate guidelines. Maybe because I'm totally bias but I really do love Panera and our location is one of the best in my opinion. I always receive amazing service! It's clean! I don't think I've ever had an issue with poor service or unfriendliness. One of the many things I love about Panera is the organization's policies about food waste. Our local pantries, women's shelter, and churches are able to partake of the leftovers that would otherwise be thrown into the trash! Why more businesses don't do this is beyond me! Come to think of it, there is one other in town. Nawal's Mediterranean Grill is the only other in town that I have personally witnessed deliver to the women's shelter. So supporting these businesses means keeping them in business which means supporting our local needy. It doesn't get much better than that!! read more

Usually stop here on a road trip. Stopped for breakfast. Long line. Got breakfast with soft cooked egg. See photo attached. Got three meals to go. Did not tip bag over or rough it up in any way. A few miles down the road opened up and found very soft egg all over to go box. Not possible to eat. When opening, egg yolk got all over lap. They need to find a different to go box or skip this menu item entirely. Not happy. read more

Low stars due to extremely long wait lines, both for ordering and for getting food. Came in before the lunch rush, stood in line behind two other people for at least 15 minutes. Then waited 20 minutes for food. After all that I made the mistake of trying to grab a tea to go. Another 10 minutes in line and 15 minutes for the tea. I should have just left, but I already paid. Frustrating. I know the people felt bad because the guy who made my tea made it a larger size due to the wait, but I really would've preferred not waiting 25 minutes and had the regular size. I suggest this site get more staff who are trained to run the registers. Also, other Panera sites seem to be able to make drinks and not make someone wait behind all the food orders, drive thru orders, etc for a cup of coffee or whatnot. Another reason for the low stars: food quality was okay, but my kids' Mac and Cheese was fairly cold by the time we were served. read more

I love Paneras salads. When ever I am near a Panera, I go thru the drive thru and get one. The service is always great and everyone is friendly. Eating while out of town is never easy trying to find healthier food or food for picky people. I ordered a few sandwiches on the better side of the low calorie train but some mac n cheese for a little one. This is the reason why the 3 stars came up. Though the rest of the food was your same old food they serve which I never have a problem with...this location seemed to skimp on the serving size. When asked if I wanted a small or large serving and I stated large...don't fill the container up 1/4 to 1/2 way. Basically they fit a small portion into a larger bowl. What a rip off of a meal which I ended up having to tear off some of my sandwich to share. What should have been my own meal I had to split with the little one so she would be full for the night. read more

Amazing management! My order was missing a soup and I approached the manager wondering how I could it. He instantly got right on it and before I could even sit down, he was on his way and brought it personally to my table and brought two free cookies. Bought a new recipe item, thinking what the heck what can go wrong. I bought a sandwich, 2 drinks and 1 bag of chips to only get a over peppered sandwich that I soon threw away after my first bite.
