This was some sort of Thai soup that had some noodles and very interesting flavors. The picture shows a Cup portion.

I wish there was one of these back in my suburbs. If you are a soup lover, then you will like being able to sample the soups like you do when you walk into an ice cream shop. This place kind of reminds me of the Soup Box that is downtown in Chicago. I ordered a Tom Kha Thai kind of soup and it came with a piece of bread. It wasn't bad and I throughly enjoyed my meal. They offer different kinds and while not every soup maybe to your liking (I sampled some that was too salty, bland or weird), at least they will change their soup menu enough so that you won't get bored. ;D Overall, Zoup makes a good stopping place for a hearty lunch.

Try two, chicken caesar and lobster bisque.

I was in Holland for a few days, and needed a quick, healthy lunch before preparing for my friend's wedding, and Zoup! seemed like the perfect option. It did not disappoint, and the employees were so helpful at explaining things, and letting us know what our options were. I got a "try two" meal, with a small lobster bisque and chicken Caesar salad. I did not upgrade my soup to a larger size, but my Dad did with his broccoli cheese soup. It was a good value, too, which is always appreciated. The bread served is warm and **soft**, unlike the bread served at Panera. I wish we had one of these near me- the quality, number of options, and overall experience is hard to beat!

Double up deal with Macaroni and cheese and Loaded Baked Potato Soup with French bread

Stopped in with friend after reading good reviews on Yelp while roaming Michigan. We perused the menu, and thought it sounded good enough to give a try. Since we were newbies, an employee offered to give us the low down. Zoup! has a large variety of soups in rotation and some are always served. Sample cups were also provided, which was great for a picky eater like me. I'm always hesitant to try something new if I'm not sure what's in it. Walking in, I thought I just wanted to stick to the Macaroni and cheese dish (because it's kind of hard to screw up mac and cheese), but after sampling I was torn. Lucky for me, Zoup has a money saving deal on those who want two soups. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and the Loaded Baked Potato. They came in side sizes, and served with your choice of bread. The whole meal cost me about $8. Not a bad deal! I was stuffed afterwards. The loaded potato was so good! The mac and cheese was okay in my opinion. I added some pepper to spice it up some, but it would have been better with some breadcrumbs sprinkled on top! The employees were helpful at this location and made the ordering process swift and easy. The dining room was clean, tidy, and set up well. Since I'm not from the area, I didn't sign up for the loyalty card, but I read more about it from the info card on the tables, and it sounded great. You get one punch with every meal purchase and a free meal after so many punches. PLUS, when you spend more than $20 in one transaction or come in after 3 pm, you get an extra punch! So, you could get 3 punches in one purchase, which is pretty sweet. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be stopping in.

This was the soup line with their 12 different soups of the day.

My roommate and I were in Holland for a weekend of camping and had no idea where to eat. We found Zoup! on here and decided to give it a try. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made! This place reminds me of a Panera but more down to earth and wholesome. We mentioned to an employee that we had never been here before and he took the time to tell us a bit about their story and helped us with the process. They have hundreds of different soups but have a variety of 12 a day with a few that stay all year. They also have sample cups for the soup so you can try them before you order which was a great plus! The menu and ordering process is pretty simple; they have soup, salad, and sandwiches. They have a variety of salad and sandwich choices so there are tons of ways to mix & match. They also have combo deals where you can get two soups together or two separate choices and you save more money that way. I did the two soup deal and ordered their macaroni and cheese along with their most popular soup, chicken pot pie. The serving size was quite generous and came with a side of bread. They were both delicious and filling! The seating area is quite spacious and cozy. They also have a public restroom. Overall this was a great find! Very satisfied and will absolutely come back if we are ever in the area!

Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!

They also have a little shop on-site, which is a fun feature to check out! Their menu has items clearly marked "GF," and they offer both GF buns and pizza crusts, along with a huge selection of cocktails. When I asked about the seasonal sangria, our server was incredibly knowledgeable. She explained that they make their vodka in-house and while it's gluten-free, it's not certified gluten-free, but their gin is certified. I really appreciated that level of transparency! Our server even asked if I had celiac disease, which immediately put me at ease. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which they brought out with gluten-free chips, explicitly announcing it as "gluten-free" when they set it down. For my main, I ordered the garlic cheese pizza. The crust was really good--perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive, safe, and welcoming from start to finish. If you are celiac or gluten-sensitive, this spot takes cross-contamination seriously. I will definitely be back!

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, which helped the wait. The menu is fairly short, but that wasn't an issue since there were still plenty of appealing options. I started with the Dragon's Milk Toasted Marshmallow drink. Based on the name, I expected something sweet, but it was much more bitter than anticipated. We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinwheels, and they were incredible. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. For my meal, I got the Dixie Luau, their take on a Hawaiian pizza. It was excellent. The crust was the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous. What really stood out was the pineapple, it tasted fresh and high quality compared to the canned pineapple that many places use. If the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit on the front patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the food, and do a little people-watching. The atmosphere was great, and I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area.
