Went to Culver's for the very first time today. My daughter took me for Father's day. NOT impressed at all. It's nothing but an upgraded McDonald's. Ordered a Butterburger with catsup, mustard, pickles and onion. It came with catsup, mustard, NO onions and SWEET pickles instead of dill pickles. Mustard on the bottom of the bun gave my fingers a nice yellow color when I picked up the burger. The meat was thin and dry with very little taste. I find some of the reviews hilarious. Over priced corn dogs?? Missing sauce for chicken tenders?? Simply do not return. People seem to have no issue embarrassing themselves for allowing their day to be ruined by simple oversight...folks typically attract experiences based on their energy. You can't go wrong with culvers no matter what one you go to the burgers are cooked fresh are so flavorful and just downright delicious. The staff is friendly from the time you pull up to the drive-through until the time you leave that window. The business is very warm and welcoming on the inside as well. I would give them five stars but I can't because their prices have gone up a lot and I do mean a lot. read more

I went to this Culver's with high hopes. But I was disappointed when I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. Don't get me wrong it's good food but they really need to get their food out faster. I was really hoping and praying that our new Culver's would be every bit as awesome as the one we went to in Indiana and IT IS!! Maybe even better! We showed up tonight right before closing and never once felt like we were imposing. Connie took our order and learned that it was our 12th anniversary and we were coming in just for a little dessert. She suggested we share a banana split and that sounded like a great idea. We began placing our "custom" order and she let her co workers know she would prepare it. Since we ordered it from her, she knew exactly what we wanted and took extra care to be sure it was done just right. Not only was Connie amazing but everyone was smiling even though it was the end of the night and customers were still coming. How do you feel special at a fast food restaurant? This Culver's is amazing! The food is always so fresh and they have the BEST gluten free buns. The service is amazing, they are always so kind and bring your food to you if you eat inside. They bring your food to your car also if you get drive thru. Around the same prices as McDonald's nowadays but way better. If you're looking for good quality food and great service, this is the place to go! The set up in the restaurant is also good and It doesn't feel crowded at all! Would recommend! read more

Brand new Culver's off of Hwy 131. Super clean, huge, and friendly staff. I mean, a trip through Michigan without a stop @ Culver's is an empty trip. Even if you weren't hungry, cheese curds are a must. Had the chicken strip basket, switched out fries for cheese curds. My one and only hope for all Culver's is that, whenever their beverage contract ends, switch from Pepsi to Coke brand :-P read more

I spent 10 minutes standing in front of the counter looking like an idiot while every employee behind the counter whispered about how I have been waiting a long time instead of making my ONE MINI custard. That is all that I had ordered and I am astonished that 5 other people who ordered MULTIPLE custards got theirs before mine was even made. I am upset. I don't like this Culver's inside. Ok. Apples to apples. Culver's is a hamburger chain so I am writing this review and comparing this to other hamburger chains. Culver's may cost a little bit more but it is well worth it. Their hamburgers are wonderful, and there are lots of other options including a grilled chicken sandwich, my favorite healthy choice sandwich. This grilled chicken breast is actually a real chicken breast that isn't too over-processed such as McDonald's or Wendy's. Worst burger I've ever had. So small it had holes through it you could see through it and it was also burned. I brought it back to get replaced and the next one was almost as bad. After waiting a half hour for our food it was very disappointing. I will not ever return there again. McDonald's is better. read more

Had no idea there was a Culver's in BR now. Was so excited when we saw it. Ordered 1 Shake through the drive-through. Other Culver's have not asked us to pull forward for just shakes but assuming this location was new this was not a problem. Waited about 3 minutes and got a shake that they didn't even bother to mix. I love Culver's. This one has got to be the very best Culver's I've ever been to! Let's start off with the employee friendliness and customer service here, it couldn't possibly be better. You get a nice warm welcome the minute you walk in the door. Everybody here is just so nice. It's not a cheesy "I'm being nice because I'm told I have to be" it's really genuine. Everyone here seems to be here because they want to be. I come here after a long journey up from Chicago after I make my deliveries. The food is always perfect and awesome at that. This restaurant is decorated beautifully and tastefully. Cleanliness, how is that? Well, when the bathrooms are cleaner than most hospitals, you know that having a clean restaurant is a huge priority. There is a sense of pride here. This Culver's has the most consistent food and service. They do have good food. The onion rings are downright delish. The burgers are overdone for my taste but I understand they cannot serve them the way I would like. The burgers are tasty with generous ingredients and the people that bring the tray to your table are always very pleasant and make you feel like they are glad you are there. Not a place you want to frequent too often if you like your waistline but as far as fast food goes this is much better choice than a crown or clown establishment. read more

this is a mixed review because we go there often because my grandson loves it. However we have had numerous issues with the drive-thru service and I decided today to give them a heads up. However I tried their own website and they're review options don't work and you don't know that until you fill it completely in and that in and of itself is very frustrating. Here are my concerns one they cut you off while you're still ordering and provide you with a total which forces you to tell them that you are not done with your order. Second, Even if you give them your drink order they continue to ask you if Pepsi will work with your order. Well, not really I just ordered Mountain Dew. Then my last problem is they always seem to make the ice cream Order ahead of the food order so by the time it gets to the door car it is melting all over the place. For example today the meal was delivered to the car the ice cream was packed with at least eight napkins around it it was Dripping all over the person who brought it to me it dripped all over my car all over my sweater. If this was an isolated incident I wouldn't think twice about it but the ice cream always seems to come as a big mess with a hot food order perhaps they need to change their process to make the ice cream treats right before they walk out the door. read more

I've never found a Culvers I didn't like, nor is the Big Rapids Culvers an exception. Highly recommended!

Culver's is a great stop for either dinning in or drive thru! High quality food, great service, and a very clean and nice environment!

They make some good chow. Only reason I have for giving them a 4 star is because you always have to wait. But the people are always polite and I am ok with waiting for something that isn't going to do me any favors. I wont eat at McDonalds but for some reason my guilty conscious lets me eat Culvers. read more
