This restaurant was bought out by the owners of the corner cafe. The food is very good, service was good. Excellent spot to eat!

We took a road trip from GA to visit my husband's grandparents in MI. We arrived starving so they took us here for breakfast. They called ahead so when we walked in they had our table ready. This place is not open 24 hrs a day! I arrived at 5:45 am on Friday 16th of August 2024 and was closed.

They have beer and wine now and are working on their liquor license. Food tasted fresh. I know some people compare to the predecessor, Sharon's, but one thing this place has improved upon for sure is the beef quality. The plate ware and silverware is nicer, too. Definitely still a country restaurant vibe but with upgrades. read more

Staff was nice And only reason for the 1 star. Easy ordered but when I got home it wasn't the right food. I ordered a veggie omelet with added sausage and I got an omelette with sausage and ham and no cheese. The food didn't taste good at all either. read more

We decided to stop here for breakfast on our way up north & were a little skeptical due to the poor reviews however, we found the restaurant to be clean, with nice homey decor and most importantly good food & coffee. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the service was a little slow but that was because there was only one waitress which is understandable if they're not usually busy. This place has become unbelievably horrible. When the management was under Sharron 's, this was a wonderful restaurant with a good prices, great food and a cute little country atmosphere. Now the staff is rude, food is never cooked properly whether it's totally raw or burnt, and the staff runs around in dirty jeans. Everything about this place is beyond unprofessional. Don't waste your money or time here. I complained about my food, as the bacon was literally burnt to a crisp and the eggs were practically raw, and they did not remake my food or take any money off of our bill. Our waitress had a horrible attitude and so did the kitchen staff. If I could pick zero stars, I would. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

Charcoal disguised as burgers and fries that were cooked In the same grease as the fish. pictures had been removed from the walls (or fallen off) and you could see the greasy dirty outline on the walls and a clean spot where the picture hung. the chairs were filthy! the service was bad at best. going hungry is not a bad option. read more

If you drive by a place several times and not many cars are ever in the parking lot, there may be a reason for that. We had not been here since they took over a few years ago, but was never interested because of a seemingly lack of business. Recently we decided to suck it up and try it for breakfast. First, they were not busy, maybe 8 people in there (three tables). It's a seat yourself kind of place. The girl working did not rush right over to see what we wanted to drink and give us a menu. She was kind enough and eventually brought our coffee and took our orders. It took awhile to get our meals. The cook came out at one point and sat down and talked to another couple at another table. Mind you, by this time, all the others had left and we were the only ones there waiting for our food. He eventually got up and started our order. Our order finally came after a while. It was hot, the pancakes must have been 10" around. They were huge! The pancake itself was good, but was not cooked around the blueberries, still soupy. The blueberries were tough, like they had been frozen a few years (I know this because I had some of my own). My scrambled egg was....well, scrambled is all I can say for the ones they break on the grill and chop through it and flip. The coffee (flavor) was marginal. They do need better air circulation in there as when you walk out, you smell like you had been to a 'greasy spoon'. I gave it three stars because the waitress was nice and helpful and the place was clean. We came, we went and found out what we wanted to know, but sorry to say, will probably not return. read more

My experience has always been great here, it's a family run restaurant and it's diner food - cause hey - it's a diner. I think it's great value, good burgers, the fries are excellent, I like the omelettes too! The staff is always very friendly. Ok, first of all the cook needs to learn how to clean his griddle! There were chunks of I don't know what in my eggs! Not to mention the raw spots in the scramble eggs! Also the service was awful! The employees spend most of their time sitting at a table with friends and not paying attention to customers! I would have given negative stars if it were possible! read more
