Every dish we have had was delicious, I like the farmer omelet best. There's a nice simple but well thought out menu. Both the staff and the customers are friendly, and the service is fast . Where to start........ this place is AMAZING!!!!! The owner and her daughter will likely be your server. They are awesome! You will never have an empty drink, they know the menu like the back of their hand. The food is all homemade and tastes like a meal grandma would make. We stopped in for a late lunch. It had been about 4 years since we ate here. This is a small town cafe and most of the customers seemed like regulars the owner knew by name. Maria had the meat loaf and said it was good. I had a bit of it and it was very good. I had the all beef wet burrito. It comes smothered in a cheesey sauce which I didn't care for but that was just me. I like a red spicy sauce. But I don't blame the place because it was a good dish. Friendly service. read more

Used to be a great little place to eat. NOT anymore. these were our last 2 experiences. 1) The cook came out of the kitchen with at least half of his buttocks showing, GROSS! The owner was like, oh it wasn't that bad. ReallY?? 2) My husband ordered an eggless omelette, it looked pretty good, he ate about 1/4 of it when he found that a lot of the sausage in it was mostly RAW! When we told the waitress she took it back to the kitchen and we never got an apology or anything, in fact, we were charged FULL PRICE! NEVER AGAIN will I step foot in that place. We have stopped going here. The last time was when we were there about 2 p.m. The waitress took 20 minutes to bring us a menu and a fellow diner (yes, a fellow diner) brought us our water that the waitress just left on their table on a tray. This same diner went back into the kitchen to find out what the heck was going on with food taking so long to be served. All of a sudden, the waitress brings a hastily written note that says "employees only" along with a few other choice words and slaps it on the door to the kitchen. It took over 40 minutes to be served our meal after we ordered. People were walking out before even getting their food. Wish we had. Ridiculous. read more

We recently bought a summer home in this area and found this Cafe just wandering around. We were headed to another place for dinner one night and saw their sign out front featuring liver and onions, meatloaf and turtle brownie sundae and decided to stop. I have always said I would never order liver and onions at a restaurant as I was sure I could fix it as well as anyone. Well, I was wrong! I was in the mood for liver and decided to try it. It was fantastic. Liver was prepared perfectly and the onions were sautéed exactly as I like them. I had mashed potatoes and green beans with it and a homemade biscuit. My husband had the meatloaf and he said it was very good. The size of the home cooked meal was all we wanted. I was very impressed with this small town restaurant. It was tiny on the inside and a limited menu but the waitstaff is great and prices can't be beat. We have been back there about three times now for dinner, breakfast and an afternoon dessert. Those desserts are wonderful but a meal in itself. I had strawberry shortcake and because it was the strawberry season I expected fresh strawberries, not so, they were frozen, but still very good. The turtle brownie sundae was great as well. We definitely will be back. read more
