Salad, I forgot to take a pic first.
Julie E.

Nostalgia for my college years. Place looks exactly the same as it did in 2000. I am sure some things have changed, but all in all still the same. Food-since I'm older and can't eat whatever I want anymore I went for a salad. The dressing had changed in the last 24 years but that's ok. I wish I had a burger however my salad was top of the game. Lettuce/mushrooms/egg/tomato/cucumber/home made croutons. I'm sure I'm forgetting something's. Regardless the memories in this place along with great food make this a place worth visiting.

I went to Schuberg's with my friends, A place where tasty food never ends. I had a burger, "The Irishman" its name, With corned beef and Swiss, it earned its fame. Tater tots on the side, crispy and hot, Water with lemon, a refreshing spot. The pretzel bun was a delightful touch, But corned beef made it a bit much. Lettuce and tomato, oh what a mess, Next time without, I must confess. A burger so big, I could hardly eat, But one of the best at Schuberg's to meet! Service was great, and the restaurant was packed with happy customers.

Irish burger (with corned beef, sauerkraut, and thousand Island dressing), fries.

Split the Irish burger (with corned beef, sauerkraut, and thousand Island dressing), fries, and an order of smoked Cajun wings with my husband. Everything was so delicious! Our bartender, Kate, is so friendly and great at her job. Kate is atentive and seems like she really loves what she does and also enjoys her customers. The atmosphere here is old time, wood floor, rustic. We will definitely be back.

Beef and Swiss cheese sandwich, upgraded mushrooms

A frequent diner here, I tried for first-time the hot beef and swiis cheese, instead of the standard cheddar, on Brioche roll, upgraded +$3.50 from potato chips to deep fried garlic mushrooms, draft Alaskan Amber. Next time I will change the brioche roll for a toasted sub roll. The sandwich roast beef was thinly sliced, stacked high, and tasty. I wish they would ogger beef aus jus to dip the beef sandwich.

Love this spot. We don't live here and seems like it's definitely a neighborhood spot. They are known for their burgers. We got a salad. It was huge and fresh and filling. Next time I'm back- definitely a burger! It's a must if you're in the neighborhood.

Went to Schuberg's for lunch while I was in the area for work. What a fun place. It was not my first time going and it will not be my last. This restaurant has been around since the 1933! They are known for their burgers which you can watch being cooked for you in the open bar kitchen. Today I had a cup of their famous chili which is just like grandma makes it not spicy and full of flavor. I also ordered a basket of cheese curds, which were great to. It definitely is a local hang out and a fun place to have lunch or dinner.

Awesome burger. !! Friendly service. Loved watching the guys cook. Highly recommend !!

Hamburgers were the best. The seafood chowder was excellent served hot and a very large portion.

Is there outdoor seating?

They did not when we were there but they have ver Hugh backed booths inside if you are worried about social distancing , the place right next door had quite a few outside tables.

A fancy upscale traditional steakhouse feel and decor. Four golf elder statesmen across the street getting ice cream as dessert recommended this place. The bar was just me and the tender and at 8:30, the staff was wrapping and cleaning up on the 8/2 Wednesday evening. No tv, minimal noise and subtle indistinguishable background music but catchy to my blues and R&R ears. So...the food... when the plate was put under my nose, I knew it was going to be culinary special. Everything and all of it was special. The Whitefish, perfectly tender, seasoned and mouthwatering. The risotto was creamy and soooo tasty. The broccoli and cauliflower, taken to a new level so it's not just good for you. Finally, the service was great with the young friendly guys, Jesse and Jackson, being very attentive and gracious. Thanks to the four guys who recommended this restaurant. Now, for a guilty pleasure serving of small town homemade ice cream where I asked them "where to eat"??

Management was nowhere to be found. Absolutely unacceptable. Good luck selling the business.

I had also ordered a side salad with grilled chicken as I thought I would need something to round out my meal. I wound up just eating the chicken and left the lettuce as I was pretty full after all the soup! Hubby ordered a burger with sweet potato fries and really enjoyed it. The wait staff was very friendly as well.

All good, but we were most impressed with the brown--very malty with a nice hop tingle, more substantive than most brown ales I've had, though still less than 5% ABV. The server mentioned it was a new addition to their tap menu, and I hope they'll keep it. We both got a pint to go with lunch. Lunch took the form of the house salad: lettuce and typical salad fixings with bacon and chicken topping it off. Lots of bacon! Wouldn't have minded less, not that I didn't eat every bit. The chicken was tender and juicy, and all the greenery was fresh. Very nice midday meal. While I don't pass through BR very often, I'll make a point of returning here when I do.
