a woman eating a meal - A white disposable takeout tray holds Chinese-inspired dishes including fried rice with vegetables, stir-fried noodles, and sweet and sour chicken with a glossy sauce. A person's hand is holding a fork, about to eat the food. A Coca-Cola cup with a straw is placed behind the tray on a table with a white surface. The background shows a casual dining setting with white chairs and other tables, suggesting an outdoor or food court environment.

This is the best mall food I've ever had! And I grew up 10 min from a mall. The mango chicken and the honey chicken are perfectly fried and crunchy. Full of flavor. The pad Thai was delicious too! For a quick 10$ mall food to eat, this place best all the other Asian spots in my opinion. I will be back for sure!

3.5 stars, I rounded up. Pretty decent food for a mall food court stand. The people here are pretty friendly. They are always offering free samples, when they see you walk by. I guess it could be annoying for some people, but I don't mind it. I've tried their combo platters with mango chicken, chicken with broccoli, lo mein, and fried rice. I've also tried their noodle soups. The combo platters are okay. They give you alot of food, but its basic mall food court quality. It's filling, but nothing fantastic. Their soups, however are pretty good. It's relatively authentic Chinese/Taiwanese style noodle soups. The beef noodle soup with egg noodles is my favorite. The food as you'd expect, at a semi upscale mall, is a bit pricey, but at this mall you kind of have to deal with a little of price gouging anywhere you go.

Every dish hit the table hot and quickly without feeling rushed, which I always appreciate. Great casual lunch or dinner spot! Catch up with friends or enjoy a lowkey dinner without feeling rushed or overly formal Also love that this spot is BYOB. I paired my meal with a Thai iced tea -- flavorful and refreshing, just not overly sweet (which some people might actually prefer). Appetizers: The curry puffs were delicious -- flaky, flavorful, but I definitely wished there were more than three. Chicken satay was well executed, but the honey ribs completely stole the spotlight. Super tender, flavorful, and easily the must-order on the starter list. Entrees: We ordered the deep fried filet snapper (with white rice) and the chicken Khao Soi. The Khao Soi was the standout of the night -- perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, coconut curry broth that was easily 10/10. The snapper was fried beautifully, and the mixed vegetables tasted incredibly fresh and bright -- almost ceviche-like in flavor. Portions were satisfying enough that I had zero room for dessert, but this is absolutely a spot I'd come back to explore more of the menu.

Four of us visited last night and noticed we were almost the only non-Asians in the place, that tells you it's authentic! We have never had a bad dish and this visit met all expectations. Thai flavors are always exceptional even if you are not a hot spice fan (like me). Three of us started with the Tom Kha Soup, perfect for cold night. Coconut broth with yummy veggies and just the right spices (Galangal is so unique). Shrimp or chicken added is very nice. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice which sounds boring for a main, but it's full of chicken, shrimp, and other flavorful goodies. We sometimes share as an app, but my favorite so must have one way or another. My son has the Duck Curry which was massive, very tender, almost no fat. He took on level 4 spice, not for me but I tried it, wow. The Masaman curry is always a big hit, daughter said it was great once again. Wife had Green Curry with Shrimp, "creamy with crisp vegetables, very good". Servers all seem to be family, and I believe most are. They all treat you with respect and the true care which adds to a nice experience. Ambiance is warm and nice, great spot for table talk. Prices are fair, and yes, they are still BYO! Keep up the great work!!

Food-wise you'll find most of the typical Thai restaurant dishes. I like to start with their spring rolls, which are fried crispy and done very well here. I've tried a few of their entrees, and unlike other Thai restaurants where I typically gravitate towards the curries or basil sauce based dishes, those didn't have as much flavor as I expected. What I did find myself enjoying was their fried rice and pad thai noodle dishes, so those would be my recommendations if you're visiting the first time and not sure what to get. I'll add a nice plus is that takeout doesn't cause as much loss in food quality as other places.

Not so good - curry puffs were tasteless, fried calamari were meh. Not good - duck salad had dry overcooked duck, green curry with beef was barely edible and had a funky sidekick flavor reminiscent of stale bucket water after the floors were mopped with beef that they threw in there, which was dry and super chewy. Water they serve is straight out of tap and I doubt it's even filtered as it had smell and taste that didn't have any hint of filtration. And a 20% automatic gratuity added to your bill for a group of 5 plus. Had to ask 1 waiter for a check 3 times. Got it finally after asking another waiter. First and last time for me in this establishment. Those posting 5 star reviews probably never had good Thai food. This place doesn't hold a candle to restaurants like Pimaan Thai or Wyckoff Thai. Lots of room here for improvement.

Every single dish is crafted with so much care, flavor, and passion that it becomes impossible not to come back again and again. The taste is something I honestly cannot even begin to describe--you just have to experience it. Sato, the owner, is one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. He goes above and beyond for every single customer, and it shows in everything he does. You can feel his passion for cooking in every bite. He is always smiling, always welcoming, and truly puts his heart into his food. The dish in the photo is called "Aja's Special," and it says everything you need to know. We looked at each other and said, "Let's give it a try for lunch." We're true foodies, never afraid to explore a menu, so of course we ordered a variety of dishes and we were blown away. When we first walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner, and her staff was incredibly sweet. Their customer service made us feel instantly at home. Since it was lunchtime, we ordered from both the lunch specials and the regular menu. Before the food arrived, we asked the owner what style of Thai cooking they specialize in. She explained that their recipes come from the middle region of Thailand, near Chonburi. Central Thai cuisine is known for its beautiful balance of flavors sweet, salty, spicy, and tangy all working together in harmony. The dishes often have aromatic herbs, rich coconut-based sauces, fresh vegetables, and layered spices, creating food that feels both comforting and vibrant. After tasting everything, we understood exactly what she meant. The flavors were bold yet balanced, fragrant without being overwhelming, and incredibly satisfying. Here's what we enjoyed: Lunch Specials * Pad Khee Mao (Drunken Noodles) * Spicy Basil Sauce * Pad Thai Regular Menu * Tom Yum Goong * Masaman Curry Dessert * Banana Sticky Rice Drink * Thai Iced Tea Every single dish--not just one--was exceptional. The balance of flavors from the central Thai style truly shines through: the brightness of the herbs, the warmth of the spices, the creaminess of the curries, and the freshness of the vegetables. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. This restaurant deserves to be known and celebrated, and I'm sharing photos and videos so you can see exactly why. We even asked if we could meet Chef Patrick to thank him personally, and he kindly came out to greet us. It was such a thoughtful moment and made the experience even more special. Delicious food, warm hospitality, authentic Thai flavors, and a genuine family feel you simply can't beat this place. We absolutely cannot wait to return!

We were craving some sort of Asian cuisine, and I had had DD Thai bookmarked to try, so we headed to the restaurant. The small place was tucked away in a strip mall, just off the highway. We parked the car and managed to get into the restaurant without slipping on the massive amounts of black ice that had accumulated in the lot. The restaurant's decor was lacking in that the booths on the right side of the place had ripped upholstery and the seating on the left side was in better condition, but mismatched. Despite the furniture, the woman running the front of the house was very sweet, and the food was great! We started with the Curry Puff appetizer. The 3 large dumplings had been completely stuffed with a sweet chicken curry, while the fried, flaky exterior was a nice golden brown color and not at all greasy. My Pad See Ew with Chicken was very flavorful and perfectly cooked, though it could have used a tad more sauce. My companion felt the same about his Drunken Noodles, which he similarly scarfed up, though he would have preferred more spice. I have now tried several Thai restaurants in Bergen County and many of them have fallen short on delivering the flavorful impact I would expect from the cuisine. However, DD Thai was definitely one of the better ones in the area!
